I reserved (and paid for) a scooter rental for our upcoming trip to Disney. A few days later, I needed to alter the order to add another day. I sent them a message via the link on the order summary stating that and asked what the new total would be. I didn't receive a response, so three days later, I rented from a different company and sent Rent Orlando Scooters another message, asking them to cancel my order. That's when I got a phone call and the man was really super rude. He gave me excuses for not replying sooner, then had the nerve to tell me that I didn't need it until next month, so why the rush? This was AFTER I'd already told him that I canceled because I never got a reply from them, so was concerned about their customer service and I needed to know I had a scooter reserved from a company that would deliver it. He just kept going on and on. I had to repeatedly say, "Please cancel the order." He said he would and the call was terminated. However, two days later, it's still not been canceled. They've had my $130 for almost a week and are in no hurry to refund it, apparently. I'm going to have to dispute the charge with credit card company. I know refunds don't get on the card right away, but it's not going to get on the card if the order is never canceled. In trying to resolve this, since the chat box icon on their website showed that the chat feature was available, I sent a message saying my order had not been canceled. I didn't go into details because the automated chat will either redirect or ask for details, so I was waiting for a human. But, instead, I got an automated message saying that the chat wasn't active; someone would email me. Next thing I know, I have an email that simply said, "what order. what is your order number" That was all that was in the email and exactly how it was typed. There wasn't even the company info at the end or anything. Just two sentences that couldn't even be bothered to be written professionally. It's rather ironic that they state (in bold letters even) that customer service is their number one priority. It's not. Avoid this place at all costs!
