This was my first time using American Tire Depot after many years of buying tires from Costco,…read moreand I decided to give this well-known company a try. I first called their customer service number and spoke with a representative who highlighted three advantages: * A wide selection of tires to fit different needs and budgets. * Competitive pricing. * Fast scheduling with a local store for installation. When I arrived at the Corona location for my appointment, there was a pricing discrepancy between the online quote and the store price. Store Manager Candice Ramirez quickly honored the online pricing without hesitation, which I greatly appreciated. During the installation, the technicians discovered that the front and rear tires had different tread patterns due to an error during the online ordering process. Assistant Manager Stephen Robinson immediately stepped in and ordered a matching pair of tires. Remarkably, the tires arrived in about an hour, and the installation was completed the same day. The entire experience was professional, efficient, and customer-focused. I was impressed by how quickly the staff resolved the issues and made sure everything was done right. If you're looking for new tires, I highly recommend giving the Corona American Tire Depot team a call at 951-734-1223. They will take good care of you, and customer satisfaction clearly matters to them

Made an appointment, showed them the quote on my cell phone and they matched the price! Going here was better than costco as you can make an appointment at one of their slow times and minimize your wait. Plus their waiting longe is more comfortable as Costco has none. In addition they have several sales people to accommodate customers as Costco has only one and there is always a wait because their counter person is also answering phones. This location always has a line but that is a good sign as it shows high customer volume. Not to worry, get their quote and come back at a more convenient time for all parties and installation. Never going back to Costco for tires.

I came in today for a scheduled tire service appointment and was assisted by someone named Tom…read more From the outset, the interaction was unnecessarily combative and patronizing. I clearly explained that the flat was on the rear right tire and noted--based on my own familiarity with vehicles--that the nail appeared to be outside the sidewall, making it a candidate for repair. Rather than addressing the issue professionally, Tom chose to correct my wording with, "you mean the shoulder?"--a distinction that felt less about accuracy and more about asserting authority over a customer. It immediately set the tone. He then informed me the tire tread measured at a 2 and needed replacement. While I acknowledged that replacement was likely imminent, I explicitly stated I wanted to explore repair first and discuss full replacement after reviewing options and pricing. He dismissed the request without meaningful discussion and ended the interaction abruptly. Within minutes, I returned ready to move forward with pricing on new tires. His response--"we're the biggest tire company in America, chances are we have it"--was delivered with a level of condescension that was both unnecessary and unprofessional. I wasn't questioning your inventory; I was asking for a quote. It's not a riddle. I asked again, simply, for a quote. I was then told to wait in the lobby. Despite having a 12:00 appointment, I sat waiting while he proceeded to assist multiple walk-in customers who arrived after me. After nearly an hour with no follow-up, no communication, and no acknowledgment, I left. Just an extended lesson in how little my time mattered. I contacted American Tire Depot immediately after. Within five minutes, they confirmed availability, provided pricing, and offered same-day service--everything this visit failed to deliver. Efficient, respectful, and refreshingly free of ego. This experience was defined by dismissiveness, poor communication, and a clear lack of respect for a paying customer's time. It was defined by condescension, poor communication, and a surprising resistance to simply doing the job. If the goal was to lose a customer, mission accomplished. I will never be returning.
