I would definitely recommend Simons and would rate them a 10 if your scale went that high. We discovered a mold problem and after an inspection report by another company (insight environmental), Matt came out and gave us an estimate for the mold remediation work. I had an estimate from another company which was a little bit less, but Matt and Simons estimate seemed more thorough. Matt and Josh completed the work perfectly. They showed up when they said they would (unlike some other companies we have worked with), and they were incredibly professional, courteous, and clean in their work habits. We were having a new furnace and ducting installed at the same time and Matt was willing to work around the other company's schedule without issues. As it turned out, some of the work estimated ended up not being necessary, and when we received the final invoice it was actually less than the original estimate...unheard of!...and less than the bid from the other company! I had a water service line to my house suffer a major leak with water flooding my wife's sewing room on the lower level. Major damage until we discovered it. Repairs over $15,000 required rebuilding the lower portions of several walls, replacing the entire floor, and removing, repairing and reinstalling multiple build in cabinets. Simons was my General Contractor. Professional, knowledgeable, always on time, worked late when necessary, kept my insurance company informed, cleaned up daily, listened to my questions and made excellent recommendations. The room that was a disaster now looks brand new. When asked by friends who did the work and I say "Simons" they all said something like 'oh, yes - I've heard very good things about them'. Great local company and service. I cannot say enough positive things about this local company. It was a stressful time with the roof leaking last winter/spring , early 2024 and mold in the ceiling. They came, and handled it and took the load completely off my shoulders. I trust them, and would call them again in a heartbeat. Quiet, knowledgeable, respectful and completely competent. I do totally recommend them to all my neighbors, reasonably priced - Matt and Brandon were the ones who worked with my house -damage situation. I feel they care about our community and that reflected well upon this company. We have had SCI out to the house 4 times now to replace floors (twice), replace some siding, and, most recently, to replace a facade on the front of the house. Ryan came out and checked things out and came up with a reasonable estimate for the work. Casey, Tim, and Alan did the work and the results are fantastic. From the rebuilding of the facade to the painting, they did great work. When I requested minor changes, no problem. Next year when we take on the next project, I will call Ryan up and have Simmons Construction do the work. I will also recommend them to anyone who needs inside or outside work done. I cannot say enough about Simons Construction Inc. Each team was professional, respectful and courteous. We had a large water leak in a bedroom. Once we called Simons Construction they took over. We had to go out of town on a family emergency. While we were gone we was business as usual. I received a phone call from each team daily on what they had accomplished and which team would be there next. We did not have the color of paint, however they were able to match that perfectly. SCI is the best company I worked with in a long time. I had them remove a wall and put up a load bearing beam in between our dining room and living room to make a open concept plan. Had an emergency pipe break after my gardener didn't do a good job of sealing the PVC nut to the pipe for my garden hose. Woke up to a flood of water all over the lawn.
