B"H
The bakery goods served at Schwartz bakery are at best below average.
I hate to say this, because I know some of people who work at this establishment personally.
Sometimes the truth hurts.
I feel I have to be honest!
In my opinion, the bakery products are not good at all, below average at best.
The problem is everything to me actually taste the same.
Well, the cheese danishes, and the Napoleon tasted a little bit better than the rest of the stuff they sell at this bakery.
Thank Hashem , kh, there is another Bakery, establishment, which is close to my house on Beverly Blvd. and Labrea Avenue .
Thank G-d, kh, I do N O T even go there anymore.
And I strongly suggest that you also should not go there unless you want to waste money on below average bread that taste like CRAP, MOST OF THE TIME.
Thank G-d, kh, I have absolutely no problem, paying a little bit more money, but it is DEFINITELY worth it tor me to pay a bit more and to walk across the street to Mensch Bakery (the DIFFERENCE IN THE TASTE TO ME IS LIKE, MOMISH DAY AND NIGHT).
The bakery products at Schwartz bakery taste REALLY NASTY compared to the bakery product sold across the street at Mensch Bakery, located, across the street from their establishment on Beverly Blvd.
The service is mediocre however, the people are nice and honest and sweet for the most part.
I'm sorry, but that does not make up for the taste.
If you don't believe me, PLEASE go ahead and buy something like a roll or muffin, then do a taste test and then if you want try Mensch Bakery across the street.
If you also want to, you could go to any local bakery in the Labrea area or the Pico Robertson neighborhood or the valley or go to Mensch.
You can even go to Ralph's Kosher experience market on LaBera Ave., and 3rd St.
Ralph's is not a kosher bakery (it is a reseller of Kosher bakery product ).
Do yourself a big favor and your taste buds a big favor and do not buy ANYTHING made at Schwartz bakery.
Thank G-d, kh, there are PLENTY of other stuff they are selling at other bakeries, probably taste a whole lot better, so sad to say this.
If you want to eat MOMISH CRAP with frosting on it go then go to Schwartz bakery.
If you want to eat something that tastes heavenly then go to Mensch bakery across the street.
You do not need to be a rocket scientist or scholar to figure this out.
It is your choice if I was you, fore Sure, I would run really fast away from Schwartz bakery.
Then carefully walk across the street and make sure no cars are coming and go strait to to Mensch Bakery.
In my opinion Mensch Bakery is a 5 star bakery not a one star bakery like Schwartz Bakery.
I gave them an extra star.
In total I generously gave to them 2 stars in total, because the customer service was pretty good and the people are nice there.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, that's all they got going for themselves at this point.
Perhaps they would take my suggestion and go ahead and change their recipes ADAP and get better pastry chefs..
That is what I recommend from one business person to another business person.
GOOD LUCK. read more
