They are no,longer in business. Too bad. They were honest and did excellent work. The good news is they have suggested that their customers switch to Hans Plumbing which we have done and used twice with the same professional and honestly. Mark Schuerman is an important part of their operation as he has migrated to Hans! You can request Mark as we have both times! read more

We have been using Schuerman plumbing for over 15 years and have been completely satisfied every single time. They are always prompt, kind and do excellent work for fair prices. We will continue to use their services as long as they are in business! read more

This is the family owned business you want to hire if you have plumbing needs or issues. The awesome experience began with booking a time with his wife Klota. She set the tone with understanding my issue, having me send some pictures beforehand to ensure the service appointment would go smoothly, and sending a followup text confirming the time and date of the appointment. Mark showed up on time, was friendly and respectful of keeping everything clean, and did a great job. A true professional. I needed to get a plastic valve replaced for my water line going into my fridge. Not only did Mark take care of that, he noticed my pressure regulating valve was leaking, he happened to have the part on hand, and took care of that for me as well at no additional labor charge. Their prices are fair, they don't price gouge you on parts, and you end up feeling great about your decision to hire Schuerman Plumbing. read more

got a bid from Mark to do a toilet install & new sink connection for our recently renovated bathroom. He was 1/4 the cost of the other bids. Mark showed up 5min early, and was done in under 2hrs. He also replaced the original plastic sink valves from 1987 when the house was built. Great service, great price, well done all around. Will definitely be a return customer next time we need a plumber! HIGHLY recommended! read more

Mark fixed our leaky garden faucet, which needed to be fixed from the crawl space. He replaced the faucet and also cleared our garden drain which was clogged from pine leaves, all under 1.5 hours. The quote was very transparent and no surprises from the initial quote to final price. A month later the faucet is doing well. Highly recommend these guys. read more

Had a $1400 bid from another (supposedly reputable) plumbing company to repair an outdoor house bib and valve that froze during the recent cold snap. Got a "second opinion" from Schuerman - who was able to fix it without opening the wall and ripping everything out. Was $350 instead of $1400. Good communication, and HONEST. Highly recommend. read more

Replaced all 6 of our bathroom sink valves. There were plastic, cheapo, and dripping. Done in 40 minutes. Wonderful, friendly plumber. Had a long waiting list (3 weeks for me) but I guess that's a testament to demand + quality :) read more

I cannot recommend them more highly. It's a family business and they treat you like you're a part of a community in a small town. I had them come out to fix something in my old place and they did a wonderful job at a fair price. I just now called them for an issue in my new place, and Molly talked me through what it could be and my next steps. I will not hesitate to call them for any future needs. read more

This is our first time using Schuermer Plumbing, and they now have a new customer for however long we live in this house! Mark came and was incredibly courteous, and did the job in way less time than I anticipated. Klota has been responsive and the follow-up for the issues and check-in for the appointment were both helpful. Very excited to know there is a local plumbing company we can use! read more

Responsive, reliable, honest, trustworthy local, family owned business. They replaced toilets in 25 year old house. I'll use them again when I need plumbing services. read more

I have had them out to our house on a couple of occasions and each time I have been impressed with how quickly they work while still providing fixes that lost long term. It is difficult to find reliable, honest, and hard working contractors but Schuerman Plumbing delivers just that time & again. read more

Mark came out to fix a leak in my shower. After the first part wasn't enough to solve the issue (we were hoping, but alas), he came back and used another part. He was SO responsive and courteous the whole time, and didn't charge us for coming back to install the second part. Totally went above and beyond and I will definitely hire them again for any plumbing needs! read more

The last month has been an adventure in Why-Did-I-Ever-Become-A-Homeowner? As it pertains to plumbing: the washer leaked, but the shutoff valves didn't work, nor did the inside whole house cutoff. I called Hagee, who sent out a young guy. Although he was amiable, the two trips to Home Depot for parts set my spider sense tingling about his experience-level. The following day, I was drying out the water damage in the crawlspace, I noticed the pressure regulator was corroded and had a small drip. Repairing it wasn't urgent, so I asked around and was enthusiastically recommended Schuerman Plumbing. I scheduled an appointment for the following week. In the interim, I discovered the whole house cutoff Hagee replaced was leaking. The young guy had bolstered a weld with plumber's putty(!) To their credit, Hagee sent him back the following afternoon and mostly fixed it. There was still a minuscule drip - not enough to get alarmed at, but an indication that maybe I needed to find an experienced plumber. Jim and Mark Schuerman came out and replaced the regulator. While setting up lights for them in the crawlspace, I asked them for an opinion on the cutoff. In the walkaround, we also noticed a minor sewage leak. Argh. It required parts they didn't have available, so they suggested I set up another appointment and he would make a parts list. In the meantime, I could put a bucket under the leak. (I also wrapped it with electrical tape.) They came today, fixing both issues very efficiently. The work looks very solid, too. read more

I highly recommend Schuerman Plumbing! I am not one who writes a lot of reviews, but this was such a positive experience that I feel compelled to do so, especially since I relied heavily on other people's reviews when looking for a plumber. We realized we had a pipe leak on Jan 1 evening, a Saturday. Called multiple places. Due to some luck, Mark Schuerman was able to fit us in on Sunday for which I am so grateful. He even showed up 30 minutes early! He had to dig to find the leak underground in cold weather, so it was not an easy job. Even with the weekend surcharge, the repair cost was much more reasonable than what other people were telling me to expect from other plumbing companies. He was mindful of the cost with the weekend surcharge and gave us the option of delaying the fix for the low water pressure until another time or fixing it then. We chose to have him fix it then and it was a lot quicker than he estimated. He was also especially considerate in masking up when he saw that we had young guests in the open garage which he had to enter to check on the house water valve. I can't say enough good things about our experience with him! If we need a plumber again, he will be our first choice! I found him to be trustworthy, professional, and knowledgeable. read more

Polite, tidy and replaced the disposal properly. Very pleased.

I was so disappointed in our experience with Schuerman. It all seemed fine until the master bathroom shower was completely done, tiled, grouted, and dry. Then we went in to try out the shower controls and discovered the system had been installed backwards, with the controls moving to the left to control the right-side showerhead and moving to the right to control the left-side showerhead. We were so upset! I called Schuerman and they completely ignored me. My contractor said he would handle it and offered to tear out the whole shower for us, but we figured out a hack to make it workable. At no point did Schuerman ever call me, apologize, offer to make it right, or anything. Personally, I find the true measure of a company to be how they handle things when things go wrong, and this company left me cold. I honestly can't recommend a company that wouldn't at least try and reach out after something like that. read more

Had a great experience with this plumber to replace an outdoor hose bib. Professional, prompt and fair and reasonable rates (I shopped around, don't be fooled by those that say 'free estimates' - they are usually twice the price). Would recommend and use again! read more

Schuerman Plumbing is highly recommended by friends and neighbors for their outstanding work, fair prices and efficiency. The father and son team, Tom & Mark, worked very well together and got the job done as promised. Nice to have a team of plumbers that can be trusted. Wish I knew them sooner read more

Mark Schuerman called to see if he could come just a little earlier than scheduled time which I was very pleased with. He removed his shoes without my asking, replaced two faucets, for hoses within an hour very pleased with his work & sent a follow-up email upon leaving read more

This family outfit is now my default-- GoTo, plumbing solution! I have two old toilets that needed to have their internals replaced and were constantly running after being flushed and really spiking my water bills. Since I didn't want to take the time to do the research on finding all the right replacement parts and doing all the work myself, I called multiple plumbing companies to help me solve the problem and no one wanted to bother! In fact, the first company came out to see what they could do and decided that they didn't want to fix anything, then charged me $48 dollars just for showing up and saying no! I was enraged. So, I started searching for other local plumbing outfits and found these guys here on Yelp and saw the great reviews and decided to give them a try and I'm sure glad I did! The nice office lady took my call (and toilet model info) and said it wouldn't be a problem and scheduled a date for them to come out after the parts had arrived--they did not charge me in advance for the parts! The plumber who came to our house (John) actually called a bit early on the scheduled date and asked if he could come a bit sooner since he was free and we said sure! He was a clean cut polite guy in his 30s and he had both toilets fixed and ready to go in under an hour! The price was completely reasonable and we were very happy with the results! We will absolutely do business with this excellent little family company again! We give them five big stars! read more

Just had him come out to replace the main line valve. Estimate over the phone was accurate and work was well done. Replaced my toilet hardware as well. Clean and trustworthy. Will definitely use them again. read more

Had problems with our plumbing in the guest bathroom - water running in the toilet (non-stop), and, a leaking connection at the wall. Mark came by and fixed the problems. This is the third time that I've used their services (over the last 15 years). Always on time, reliable, very friendly, and pleasant to work. They leave the place spotless after work is complete. Never had any problems after their work was complete - no do-overs. HIGHLY recommended. read more

I had one of those dumb things happen in life. Something accidentally got flushed. Schuerman plumbing was courteous and made arrangements for Mark to stop in. His was running early and called before his arrival. Fast neat and the object was retrieved in probably 20 minutes. He also took time to give me advice on what I could do about bathroom fixture updating. Thank you Mark! read more

Jim & Mark are the best. They are respectful, professional, honest and the best plumbers. I've used them for my personal work and on rental properties I manage. They've done everything as mundane as fixing a leaking sink hose to replacing water heaters, water heater under the kitchen sink (you should do this-- amazing) and just about everything in between. I love that they're a REAL family business (Jim's wife or daughter answers phone & schedules) and Jim & Mark do the work. They have no subs. The thing I hate about it-- there is no such thing as an appointment tomorrow (unless you get lucky and there is a cancellation.) An appointment is usually a couple of weeks out. They're on time, they keep the area clean and they are on your side. From a cost perspective, they're on par with regular plumber rates ... but they don't charge for the time they are diagnosing or writing up estimates like many other plumbers do. I've worked with them for over 10 years. I've never had a dispute with them but if I did, I'm pretty sure it would be worked out. read more

This is the second time I've used Schuerman Plumbing. Both Jim and Mark were very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant! They replaced my refrigerator hose and valve- did a great job. They are busy so you might have to wait a bit to get an appointment. Molly-their receptionist is very friendly as well. Would most definitely recommend if you're looking for a good plumber!! read more

We had worked with 2 other plumbers on our new (very old) home before having Schuerman Plumbing come out. Not only were they prompt in getting back to me, but they were friendly, of great value, and did the work impeccably. We won't be calling anyone else for our plumbing needs in the future. Can't recommend them highly enough! read more

I would recommend Scheuerman plumbing to my family, friends and neighbors at any time. They are a fabulous professional and honest father and son team. Yesterday these competent, cheerful, friendly folks installed our new kitchen faucet set. This is the third time we have used Jim over the years and have always been more than satisfied with his work. Now he has his son working with him learning the ropes so that he can eventually take over as Jim learned from his father. It is so good to have competent, honest people available locally. Thanks guys! read more

I was referred to Shuerman plumbing by some neighbors. I got two quotes for the jobs we needed done and Jim was the most responsive and reasonable. His wife was very quick to reply to any email questions and they were very professional. He worked quickly on the jobs we needed done, and did a great job. They finished in the amount of time that they estimated and everything met and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them and will not hesitate to call them if we need plumbing work done again. read more
