I think what impresses me most about this practice, besides the great quality of care I've always received, is how friendly and personable everyone on the staff is, and how it always seems like they're loving their work. It took another 5 years for me to admit I needed them out and I decided to go to Dr Feinerman after hearing for years how great he is. 1. Hes seriously awesome. All my fears were totally squashed after meeting him. Seriously I was convinced I was going to go permanently numb and lose all feeling and taste in my mouth. That didnt happen and the milkshake I just devoured was glorious. Granted I'm still numb so spilling milkshake all over myself definitely happened. I'm not even bleeding. Which is good (see point 3). 2. He told me exactly what he was going to do and what would happen. All of his prognosis was good. Mind you I'm still numb and on painkillers but I can still Yelp like a pro, so it couldn't be that bad. He also listened to EVERYTHING I said from my concerns to where my veins were so that the IV didnt kill me. 3. I woke up and started laughing because I almost dry heaved due to the gauze. Than I couldn't stop laughing. These drugs are great. No pain and constant entertainment. I legit cant tell you what's funny, but I can tell you the experience is fun. 4. I was seriously worried about being Chip and Dale's long lost sister. NO SWELLING so far. And no excruciating pain. All of my fears were literally for no reason I should have listened to my dad (if you know him, dont tell me him I said this as he will hold it over my head for the rest of my natural life during this I told you so moment). Dr. Feinerman is awesome! Obviously, no one likes oral surgery, but he is great along with his amazing staff! Thank you!!!

I would have beeen a lot more comfortable with the operation if they were open with me about that. I have a whole list of jokes written to say before being put under in case I have surgery. I didn't know I had a chance to use them. Not a very compassionate doctor, felt a bit cold to me.

My biggest struggle was trying to get returned phone call. After two weeks of waiting, I ended up going to the office .I would hope for a better office experience with returning phone calls. After going into the office I realized they did not return the phone calls because it was about the billing. After looking at an itemized list of the service I was sad to see that the billing is not honest . I personally spoke to Gabby that was not being transparent. The billing department is not honest to say the least. Please take an interest in the billing and over billing the patient.I'I don't know if the Dr is aware of this.

No other oral…read moresurgeons were able to get us in, but as soon as we called Oral-Facial Surgical Associates, they were kind and courteous and more importantly - able to see him right away. We went in the same day and met with Michaela (BEST NURSE EVER) who walked my very nervous father and I through every detail with the utmost care. She was able to soothe his worries while also giving me all the details we needed to be able to prepare for the medical and financial side of things. We then met with Dr. James E. Strauss DMD who was equally kind and knowledgeable. He was able to further explain the procedure my dad needed and answer any of our remaining questions. The whole visit was as good as it can get when you need to see a dentist. It was much faster than we anticipated but we appreciated how urgently they took care of things and were able to alleviate his pain. They also offered him IV sedation to help with his pain and to also keep him as comfortable as possible due to his medical history. At no time did we feel rushed, and the whole time we had people checking in on us making sure we were comfortable. Everyone, from the front desk staff and finance to the nurses and doctor, were the best medical care I have ever seen at a dentist's office. ****We have dental insurance, that they (unfortunately) do not accept, and we STILL chose to come here after many recommendations and promises of quality care and clear communication of expected costs.**** Highly, highly recommend. She listens and anticipates your dental health needs. She vets other specialists when needed before she refers out. She gives gentle, highly skilled, cleanings and fillings, with pain-free care. She educates her patients without shaming us. Yes, we all need to floss more. And we need to floss with the string kind that you wrap around your fingers, not the kind that comes with a handle. She is a partner in your health journey. And she cares. She also does Invisalign and has patients come in to check on comfort and progress far more frequently than my son's orthodontist does.
