I was…read morereferred here by my obgyn who takes her son here and I have so far been blown away by this office. From the front desk, ma's, referrals, and billing staff everyone has been really friendly and the office runs very smoothly and efficiently. We have seen Dr shah in the hospital and office and NP Nicole who are both very sweet. There is a bit of a wait to get in to see Dr. Carrie but she is definitely worth the wait. She is sunshine in human form, extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, and I feel like my baby is in good hands here. Since coming here I have realized that neighbors and my favorite nurse from work all take children here and I have since referred my work colleague as well. As a bonus this office is adorable and makes adults and children alone smile walking through the doors. Update: I want to give a special shout out to Suzetta, the referral/prior auth coordinator. She is extremely fast, has excellent and clear communication, and is on top of her stuff. Because of her we had an ultrasound on a Monday at 1 pm, stat referral placed later that afternoon once resulted, referral authorized by Tuesday morning, and we were in to see a specialist on Thursday. Absolutely unheard of. Fast coordination and dedication to patient care like this is what saves lives and we appreciate her and the whole staff.

I asked for a referral for an occupational therapist for my son, the first one they sent started texting me to see if we could go to their house at 6 or 7 pm for the therapy, no thank you. The second one, not in my network so I called back 14 days ago trying to see about getting a new referral. Since then, it's been a complete run around. "We will call Medicaid to get them to accept that therapist" the next day "I'm sorry I don't see anything in your chart about a referral, what is this for" the next day "the office manager will call you in 24 hours about this referral" and so on and so forth. Just called today to be told "the office manager actually won't be calling you because they are on vacation until April and the doctor your kid sees is also unavailable until April" even though we was supposed to have an appointment this morning. If you didn't want to service us anymore, it would have been much easier to just say that instead of giving me the run around for two entire weeks. Went to look for the picture from the day we received the referral to the place that isn't in our network and it looks like this has actually been going on for MORE than two weeks! I would have given one star but I actually like dr. Zagala and the way the care was given, the office staff, follow up visits and everything else just failed us truly.

I made an appointment and received a message asking me to complete the online forms. I'm not comfortable putting all of my personal information online, so I opted to fill them out in the office instead. I arrived 10 minutes early to make sure I had plenty of time to complete any necessary paperwork. When I arrived, I was not greeted with a hello or even a simple acknowledgment. I filled out my name at the front desk, then had to knock on the clear glass window to get the attention of the women sitting there. Once she opened the window, I was informed that because I had not completed the online forms 24 hours in advance, my appointment was canceled. Excuse me, what? Nowhere on the website, intake forms, confirmation messages, or any communication I received did it state that the appointment would be canceled if the forms were not completed online 24 hours beforehand. I received a confirmation text on Saturday, another text today, and an email confirmation today... none of which mentioned this requirement or gave any indication that my appointment was at risk of being canceled. The lack of communication and the way I was treated upon arrival made for a terrible experience. It didn't look or seem like any drs office I had ever been to in the past. Since when does technology have to overrule every single thing we do. So beyond frustrating.

On two consecutive days, my daughter and I waited over an hour past our appointment time. Despite my daughter being very sick and experiencing diarrhea, the doctor and staff did nothing to assist us. My daughter was seriously ill, and waiting over an hour is inexcusable. This is how they choose to treat their patients, wasting valuable time and showing a complete lack of concern.
