Extremely disappointing customer service and communication…read more Our experience with this company was unfortunately very frustrating from beginning to end. The main gentleman we worked with repeatedly scheduled times to come out and inspect our roof, but failed to show up on three separate occasions. He eventually came out unexpectedly and unannounced, and the only reason we knew he was there was because we heard footsteps on our roof. After the inspection, we discussed the roofing color and the work we wanted completed. He told us that he would order the necessary materials and that it would take approximately a month for everything to arrive, after which they would begin the roof repair. About three weeks later, we reached out for an update. He did not respond, so we followed up again a few days later to ask whether the materials had arrived. He then told us that he hadn't realized we wanted him to confirm the order and actually place the order for the materials, despite our previous text messages clearly documenting that we had confirmed everything. We also attempted to call multiple times, but he rarely answered. After waiting another several weeks, we reached out again regarding the status of our roof repair. It took several days to receive a response, but we were eventually told that the materials had arrived and that he would be out to complete the work in "a couple of weeks." A couple of weeks passed, and once again, our calls and messages went unanswered. At this point, the lack of communication had unfortunately become a pattern. We continued trying to reach him because, despite the delays and poor communication, we still hoped he would follow through and complete the work. After more than a month and a half of repeated calls and text messages with no response whatsoever, we have come to the conclusion that we have essentially been ghosted. The biggest issue throughout this entire experience has been the complete lack of communication and professionalism. Delays can happen, and we understand that circumstances can change, but simply communicating with your customers and keeping them informed is a basic part of providing good service. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company and would give zero stars if that were an option.

My insurance carrier declined to continue coverage due to this condition. I contacted Assurance Roofing regarding the issue, but the problem was not corrected. During this process, I verified through state licensing records that Assurance Roofing did not hold an active contractor license. Independent inspectors and my insurance provider confirmed the same issue: improper drainage resulting in water pooling on the roof.
