Full disclosure in that the door we got was a bit to large for the shower and in the space we have it would have opened just about 1/2 way before hitting the toilet .. ken did point this out . We were clear that we wanted him to still use this door and this was something we could figure out in the future for bathroom layout. It took ken 7 hours and in that time he managed to ONLY get the frame of the door on. Red flags immediately were him asking for masking tape, shop vac and lastly CRAZY GLUE ... several hours into the project it was very clear he was struggling with this job. The banging, dropping of pieces and literal hammering (nothing in this job should have been hammered) went on and on. He ended up calling us down to say our door was cheap junk. He tried to crazy glue the pivot pin to keep it in place. He ended up breaking pieces of glass off the bottom of the door (found shards all over the bathroom floor), put big scratch on our regular wood bathroom door, scratched a brand new shower head. Told us we should return the shower door. How is this going to happen when he's cut the frame, put caulk on pieces (I found caulk all over and even on a chair outside the shower area), broken the glass on the bottom edge from likely repeated dropping of the door?! He came up from the basement wet from apparently turning the shower on himself. I can't even imagine how he did that. He had to be told no less than 5 times by my husband that he was "done here" as he kept saying he wanted to come back and "finish" the job. I wouldn't let him come into My house again for any level of job!!! Be very very careful about what you are hiring him for!!!

He was happy to explain what certain marks were on my roof and assist in submitting a claim to my insurance company. Chris came out to meet with the State farm insurance rep and I had verbal approval from the onsite rep that this shouldn't be a problem. The rep neglected to process the claim and no longer worked at state farm. Chris was nice enough to meet a second rep that wasn't very helpful and was contradicting what the previous State farm representative said would be covered. I thought that State farm would be an advocate for their customer. Luckily Chris guided me through the entire process that took over 2 years. State farm only wanted to replace a portion of my roof. Our project was unconventional as we needed a shower fixture for a cinder block shower enclosure. Peter arrived with all the parts required to complete the job without interruption and most of the fixture assembly was done in the back of his "workshop like" truck bed eliminating a mess in our house. The finished product installed on the cinder block wall of the shower actually looks rather nice, considering this fixture is generally placed behind a wall, out of sight with only the shower head showing. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend them to everyone, and for all of our future plumbing needs, planed or emergency, we will definitely be calling Burr Oak Plumbing.
