I've actually had Jersey type bagels before. I was so glad I made that decision as soon as I walked in I smelled the fresh baking aroma of bagels being made. The place has an open feel to it. The ambience was nice. There were employees working and they greeted me as I came in. The menu was very big. I'm not gonna lie, kinda overwhelming, but a good overwhelming because variety is the spice of life. I forget the employee's name, but she worked the cashier and asked me if it was my first time here and I said yes, and she gave me some great recommendations and I also saw that they had a wide variety of cream cheese to choose from she had me sample two of them and let me tell you who that bacon scallion cream cheese was on pizzoint! My order was the "BIG ED" Bacon scallion cream cheese Bacon Sausage Turkey Scrambled egg On an asiago bagel Funny enough I know a handful of people from Jersey who live out here now and I asked the employee if the owner was from Jersey and the employee said "yes she's sitting over there". I wanted to have a chat with the owner if she was available. I walked over and introduced myself and she had time to speak with me! I appreciate the owner for having a nice chat with me and me getting to know her a little. That bagel sandwich was super flavorful! Overall Pull up, to Jersey Bagel'

We ordered at a kiosk, which is a big annoying to me-it takes forever to figure out how the menu works..but there was a long line to order from the one person taking orders (others have the same feeling as I do!) but we did it. I ordered a two by 2: a half turkey avocado and cup of tomato bisque. My husband got a Pick 3: a half French dip, lobster and crab bisque, and pimiento Mac and cheese. We munched on breadsticks while we waited for our meal. Since we ordered from the kiosk we were t given any cups for drinks. After a while, however, we went back to get some from the counter as it became clear that no one was bringing any. Our food was quite good. I loved my sandwich. Newk's bread is so delicious! The soup was equally good. My husband liked everything as well, but didn't love his soup. He said the pieces of ?crab? Or lobster? We're very chewy and not the best. Overall, though, we had a really good lunch.

"Fine in a Pinch, Forgettable Overall!" 08-05-2025…read more I stopped in here during my lunch break during PD (Professional Development) week, my first week back at the high school where I work. The place was packed. Space was tight, with barely any elbow room between customers standing and seated, and the line to order was long. While waiting, I scanned the menu for a salad I'd enjoy, but honestly, their salad options were pretty limited and not very appealing. I ended up going with the Southwest Cobb Salad. It was... okay. Edible enough to satisfy my hunger, but definitely nothing memorable. I don't always use dressing, but I tried theirs and it was decent, tasty enough, though I can't even remember which one it was. That kind of sums up the salad: forgettable. The atmosphere during the lunch rush (11 AM-12 PM) was loud, busy, and a little overwhelming. Maybe it calms down later in the afternoon, but being in a packed shopping center right off Highway 290, traffic and parking are already hectic. Honestly, even walking to and from your car feels a little risky with how heavy the traffic flow is. Food Notes: Southwest Cobb Salad - 3/5: Mediocre at best. The black "crispy" tortilla strips weren't crunchy at all, actually stale. Big disappointment. I've had much better salads elsewhere. If you're in the area and absolutely can't find another deli or salad spot, this place is fine in a pinch. You won't hate it, but you probably won't love it either. Given the number of surrounding restaurants that offer more variety (and better flavor), I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this one. Final rating: 3/5 stars. Very middle of the road. Visit at your own risk.

My son stopped me from eating and showed me this CLEAR CLEAR thick gel that was all over his sandwich. And I mean all over it. Then I looked at mine and the same thing, I immediately spit my food out. It wasn't normal seeing that on food I'm eating. I called up and the manager was very nice. She waited for the picture and then called me over and over until I picked up. I was in a meeting so it took a couple calls. I answered and she immediately apologized and said they were refunding the entire meal. I asked what that clear gel was and she said that it looks like there was some meat that came like that. But she didn't really have an answer and I don't blame her. She said it was not acceptable and said sorry. Very nice lady. As much as I liked thinking Jason's deli was a healthier option, I will pass moving forward. That food was not right. The bread was so undercooked that it stuck to the wrapper and ripped to shreds upon opening. Additionally, it was so nauseatingly sweet that it overpowered any other flavors within the sandwich. The meats were also bland and flavorless, as was the white shallot balsamic dressing. I wish I had ample words to describe how utterly disappointing it was. If you're going to brand yourself around sandwiches, you'd think you'd at least make edible sandwiches. This place is worse than Subway (who I consider pure garbage)!!!
