This is the closet Schlotzky's to our house. We love the "original" sandwich and don't remember ever ordering anything else! LOL It is a delicious sandwich, and delivered today. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Our order was delivered to our table with the sandwiches still oven shot. We did the combo, so the sandwiches came with chips and a drink, about $14, which is not bad for a large, fresh made to order sandwich meal. Took a star away because the restaurant was very dirty... many tables and the floor covered with food, condiment bottle tops covered with "gunk" (it was mid-afternoon, very few customers, one staff member sitting in the restaurant on her phone, seemingly on a break). No excuse for such an unkept establishment... the staff was there, clearly not trained to keep the place clean. That's a management issue! read more

No prices on menu. Average $10 - $14 each in Aug 2025. Of course, the sandwiches are made to order, so they're nice and fresh. They come in a couple of sizes, but since I was pretty hungry and didn't know the sizes, I ordered the large. My dog was very happy about this since it was too much for me to eat, and he ended up getting leftovers of ham, turkey, and salami! I did not realize that Schlotzsky's originated in Austin, Texas, as they are in several other states today. They had a history mural hanging on the wall. I have been back a couple of times since this visit. I had eaten there before but had forgotten how good the sandwiches are. Schlotzsky's has my favorite sandwich - Fiesta chicken, gluten free. We're from the Dallas area and go back frequently & I know all the Schlotzsky's along the way. This location is hands down my favorite. Being gluten free, the bread has always great & my order has always been correct. I typically do the drive thru, as I like to take my dogs on a car ride (they do allow dogs on their patio but mine are way to crazy), but recently I ate inside. I was just as pleased. The girl working the counter was great, restaurant clean, and food yummy. I always order a small but this time I got a medium because I had a free meal coupon, so why not? It was okay. I feel it was missing something, maybe bbq sauce. It came with Chipotle mayo, which was good but light in flavor, in my opinion. I love Schlotzkys. One if my first jobs was working for Alvin Ords. Original store before partner breakup into 2 stores. I don't understand how any business does not do quality checks on orders. The problem today, these businesses do not hold their employees accountable an most of these young employees don't give a shit about their performance, reliability or general representation for whom they work for. Should have known it was the C-tier shift working August 20, 2023 during lunch - as people who had ordered in front of us were all returning their orders, including people who had used the drive thru. We had a coupon for a free pizza if we spent $12. Our order was $39 but the 'manager' (a KID/boy no older than 20) said we had to spend another $12 to get the offer. Next, my order was wrong. When I returned to share this, he laughed and was dismissive. So I asked for the name of the Manager. He indicated there wasn't one. After pressing another employee, I was given the name of VANESSA. At this point, we were so over this experience. When I asked for a refund, he said "what the f*&k" in front of myself and my 5 year old daughter. I've been going to this location since day 1 - earning a grand-opending app setting that gave me 2-for-1 for the first year. We generally go by this location every other week after Church. Their sign clearly states "$5 after 5 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday," but when I went last Friday, I found out that only cheese and pepperoni pizzas are $5--everything else is $7. Nowhere on the sign did they mention this restriction. This is a deceptive and unethical practice that misleads customers and damages trust. Agojak was one of the associates. I think she was wearing a blue shirt so maybe management. I think she is genuinely an Angel. I have not met someone so remarkably kind in a very long time. She is just the best. Brought us a pepperoni pizza but we had ordered cheese. Thought no big deal but then she came out with a second pizza- this time cheese. She let us keep both and then got another drink for our younger child for free. On our way out she sent us with a bag of cookies. I seriously just have no words. So unreasonably kind and just a really sweet blessing on an ordinary day. Decided to stop by and grab a quick weekend lunch between household chores. Walking in there's some quirky but upbeat music gently playing. Pretty cool. The cinabon pastries on display look amazing. The menu is super simple and gets straight to the point. They stopped serving Mac n cheese which was a bummer so we got the minion a cheese pizza. So. Dang. Good. We ended up 'helping' minion eat it. The General manager made several trips around the dinning room making sure everyone was happy and got a chance to try the hot sauces and make flavor recommendations. Tip; if you get a pizza ask for some of their sauce in the side. Its so good that the cheese pizza is nearly gourmet. 4/5 will be comming back again. Always good service here and they get our order right every time! The drive through is always faster than most locations and the employees are very friendly. The location is a bit hard to get to if you're going the wrong direction but otherwise this place is great. They even have a really nice outdoor patio to dine in!! read more

We ordered two AMAZING sandwiches - the Deluxe Original and the Angus Beef. The sour dough bread was wonderful. There was more than enough meat on both. This is a pretty old location of Schlotzsky's - I remember coming here in the late 1990's to play games on their iMac G3's, which were brand new at the time. Yes, Schlotzsky's had 4 beautiful G3's at their bar area so you could feel cool while eating your overpriced 8-inch pizza. But oh, was that overpriced pizza so delicious. The location shows its age a little bit - it only recently got remodeled to fit the new branding, it feels a little small and poorly arranged (there's a wall between the seating area and the ordering area, so sometimes when they're not using the intercom system it's hard to hear your name called to know your order is ready.) But everyone is friendly and the place is clean enough. Sadly, throughout the years the food portions have decreased significantly. Back in the day your sandwich was overflowing and you could barely open your mouth wide enough to take a bite. Nowadays the meat is sparser and they're not so generous on the veggies. The prices have gone up ridiculously. This is an issue with the chain, though, and not this location. Not fancy, but not bad. Just right for my nostalgia goggles. I understand the place is fairly new but after the first month you'd think they would find their flow...NOT AT ALL! I have been 3 times in the last 2 months and the worst experience. First trip my order was all wrong and poorly put together. This time the same! I asked for a half fiesta sandwich and half orchid salad with a cup of tomato soup. I got a turkey sandwich and a salad with 2 apple wedges. I'm guessing I was supposed to cut the apples myself. In the past the apples were sliced. I was the only person in line and the inside dining area was empty so no way the staff was in too much of a rush to slice the apples. I was charged for a bowl of soup but got a cold cup. I had to ask for utensils. And to top all of that the drive thru speaker is so low (can barely hear) I had to place my order at the window. The worst Schlotzsky's location in Texas. I am probably in the top 1% of their customers in terms of the frequency I eat at various locations - including this specific location - and consistently this location is atrocious. It will generally take 15 minutes to get through the drive thru on a good day. Went this evening and took 25 minutes, they apologized for the wait. I get home and my California Avocado Chicken Flatbread has no Avocado, no topping sauce, and no cheese on two pieces. Not nearly the first time an order has been destroyed. This location also for whatever reason has the worst pickles I've seen in any location. It's like your being served a crushed pickle rind - the difference is so stark it has to be cost cutting by this particular location. If you go to this location then walk in, check your order before you leave. I would recommend just not going. read more

I was first introduced to Schlotzsky's when I moved to Texas. The buns made it unique and the meat was packed in to make it a decent sandwich. Years rolled by and it tasted like they changed the bun recipe. It wasn't as good as I remembered. Next there came a decrease in the filling, so I switched to their Thai pizza. I loved this interesting take on pizza. It contained lots of diced chicken, veggies and a distinctive sauce which made it full of flavor. Fast forward to a week ago, I watched a Schlotzsky's commercial on their pastrami on a rye bun sandwich. Why not give it a try? Well, I'll tell you why not! No flavor! The bun did not taste like rye, actually it had no flavor. The pastrami was just plain bland. If there was mustard on it, I couldn't taste it. Even adding more mustard and seasoning didn't help. Waste of a sandwich. No problem, I also ordered a Thai pizza as a backup. Opened up the pizza box and found three chicken tenders laying across the pizza in a pinwheel pattern. Seriously, if you picked up a slice with the tender it would fall off. So there I am pealing the chicken off the pizza to dice it and scatter it evenly on the pizza. The taste was good but it irked me so much having to chop my own chicken to make the pizza edible. Sorry, Schlotzsky's, I am no longer a fan of yours. read more

My daughter and I have tried this type pizza A LOT of actual pizza places and still have not found a better one. I have never had a worse experience. The food is good. The employees need a lot more training before they make sandwiches. We have been going to this location for years and it seems to be getting worse and worse. Our sandwiches never seem to be correct. We drive home and it's either missing ingredients or the wrong sandwich entirely. Today, we ordered a sandwich from the drive-through and when we arrived home it was a completely different sandwich. We called and spoke to a manager who said they would make us a new sandwich and credit my order. We went to pick up the correct sandwich about an hour later and I stood there waiting for 25 minutes while they worked on drive-through orders. I should've been bumped up to the front as they got my order wrong! When we came home we realized the order was wrong Again!! I will be getting in touch with the GM very soon. Schlotzsky's is a reliable fast place. I've been eating there for a great many years and at all different locations in Austin and elsewhere. Consistently good. This location in Cedar Park is extra-hip! Cool new decor and a really nice outdoor sitting area. With good weather, it'll be a nice place to hang and throw down a sandwich. Did you know you can still get rye bread at this place? I always order it and about half the time the person taking the order gives me a "huh?" look. So I'm thinking not too many people order it. It's great bread and not too strong. And I've recently started putting their hot sauce on the sandwiches. Wow. Great kick and great flavor (not just HOT). Give it a try if you haven't. read more
