Stopped in to have a bite to eat before the David Phelps concert at First Baptist Belton. It was not busy at all only two other patrons were there. My wife had the Turkey, Bacon club Small with bacon. She enjoyed it, just the right size for her no left overs. I had the Beef Bacon Smokecheesy, Medium. Again more ethan enough to eat. The chipotle map was a lot more spicy than I thought it would be so it took away from the taste of the sandwich. Had to wipe almost all of it off the sandwich so I could eat it. Realize for some people it will be okay but not for me. Large restaurant so It could hold a good crowd during the lunch rush i am sure. I will probably stop back at Schlotzsky's and try a different sandwich or at least without the chipotle mayo. read more

The food was pretty good, I got the New Mexican turkey bacon and my husband, the original on jalapeño bread. The cashier was very unfriendly, ice machine out of ice but the restaurant was being cleaned by an older gentleman who was doing an excellent job!!!! He was cleaning every inch of the tables! The best thing about Schlotzsky's is their bread....except when it isn't. We ordered two medium originals, two large drinks, and two bags of cracked pepper chips. The bread has to be a week old. It cracked when biting into it and was impossible to swallow. We ended up pulling the inside out and eating the sandwiches as salad. Paid 29.18 for 50 cents worth of sandwich and no receipt, so can't even claim rewards for the unjustified donation we made to this pit of a stop. We were the only customers in there and my mother ordered the fiesta Chicken and I ordered an Original. A girl who Inlater learned was named Kiki came up to our table didn't say a word and put a sandwich down in front of my mother. My mother asked "Is this the Fiesta Chicken?" She said "I don't know." Then she picked up the sandwich she put in front of my mother and said "This is the Original." My mother said "Oh, ok, I ordered the Fiesta Chicken is that it? We did a pickup order. The food was good for what we got! They forgot 3 items we had ordered and we didn't know till we got home. It was a large order for a family of 6. We have been here a handful of times and have overall enjoyed our visits. There is a goods selection of Gluten Free options which gets brownie points for me. The first time I came I had a sandwich on GF bread and it was great. The past handful of times it was out of stock so I opted for the Gluten Free flatbreads which are definitely not as good as other GF pizza dough options but it's also not the worst. The last time the sauce was still could and the dough was not fully baked. My husband has enjoyed the salads and really loves the airy texture of the bread for sandwiches. The building is pretty run down from the outside and the restrooms are not particularly clean. However the dining area has plenty of seating and is very comfortable. I had an online order that totaled over $104 to be delivered. We couldn't go in person because we're watching grandkids. When the order got here, it was missing a salad. When I called, they said my options were come pick it up or the person who wanted the salad eats nothing. But hey, we'll get a refund on the salad. This despite a $3.99 dispatch fee, a $7.99 dispatch fee (why two?!), a $2.40 service fee, and an $11.98 tip. And they would only refund the salad, not all the fees I paid to get the wrong order. We go here pretty often. The food and service are usually really good. Today not so much. Not sure if they were just short staffed or not. Took longer than usual to place the order at the Drive Thru. Didn't take very long to get our food though. I ordered an Original Deluxe but must have received someone else's sandwich. When I started eating my sandwich, the portion of meat seemed a lot smaller than previous orders plus not a single speck of olive to be found either. Bread was stale also. While the sandwich and calzone were absolutely delicious and we were given plenty of napkins, it was disappointing to find no fork to eat the side cesar salad with after going through their drive-thru. Thankfully, there was a spare single-use fork in our glove compartment. Who doesn't love the good ol' keeper of many things glove compartment? Thanks to the team at Schlotzky's in Belton! The line was around the building. They still smiled and provided great customer service. The first thing she did was apologize for the long wait and asked us to give her a minute before she took our order because they are slammed. My wife and I went to Schlotzsky's in Belton. As we drove up to the drive-through, we noticed that there were no customers inside or in front of us at the drive-through. When we pulled up to the drive-through, someone came on and told us to wait. We were about to drive off after 5 minutes of waiting when the person came on the speaker. We ordered two sandwiches and two bags of chips. The employee on the speaker repeated the order back to us perfectly. We pulled around to the window still confused why we had to wait to order. A different person came to the window, repeated our order exactly, and then gave us our food. We paid $23 and drove away. When we got home, we found one sandwich made correctly and the other was not even close. So - three people at least working there, no other customers, the order repeated back to us twice - and the incorrect order delivered. This place has a very real people problem. It seems that they can repeat your order but not check your food to ensure it is correctly made, so what is the point of repeating your order if they don't validate it? We will not go back to this Schlotzskyi's. read more

I went to Schlotzsky's on Monday, 8/16/2021. I walked into the store & found no one at the counter. I waited a few minutes & no one came to serve me. I could hear voices so I walked around the restaurant so I could see back into the kitchen area - at that point my lack of service & attention completely changed. A very nice lady named Keana saw me, immediately turned towards me with a smile and came walking towards me to greet me. Her Customer Service skills were fantastic. She apologized for my wait, shared they were short of staff at that time and did everything to make my order and experience at Schlotzky's the best it could be!
