Awesome service, extremely reasonable price. Delivered 3 items valued over $5000 from the suburbs to an auction house downtown. Brought plenty of blankets to protect the items and even a coffee for me - nice touch. Will use again! read more

We used Schlep over the weekend and we cannot say enough good things. They were professional, friendly, economical and they did a great job. I will definitely recommend them and use them again. read more

Christian and Eddie completed the pickup and delivery of a new sofa and the disposal of the old sofa quickly. They also moved another sofa. There are stairs and narrow corridors everywhere in our apartment! Not a scatch. They removed a door to manouver the sofa in too. They were polite, to us and each other throughout this tight operation. They bought special supplies for a real professional job. Their plan was well designed so there were no Oops, let's go back and start over moments. Use these guys! read more

We bought a loft bed on Craigslist and needed it to be disassembled at the original location, brought to our house, then reassembled. The seller did not have the space cleared as we had asked, so the guys (Malik and DJ) had to work around a lot of furniture that was in the way. No complaints from them though. They arrived at our house early with smiles. The job got more complicated as we went along (e.g., some of the screw holes were stripped, furniture was damaged in some areas, by the previous owner) but Daryl and Malik just rolled with the flow, made great suggestions for how to remedy the issues and put the bed back together in better shape than it was when it left the seller's house. Needless to say, we were very satisfied and will not hesitate to call Schlep next time we need something schlepped. read more

I've used Schlep on 2 occasions. One for a small piece of furniture I needed moved to a different location and the second for a major move. In both instances, Darryl Jones led the Schlep team with DaVinchi. They were fantastic to work with! Extremely professional and very accommodating, I would highly recommend Schlep. They are punctual, caring and fairly priced. The big moving companies that I've worked with in the past were none of those things. read more

We used Schlep a couple of years ago and liked the service, so we used them again today. Again the workmen (on this move: Josue Barrera and Richard Arroyo) were pleasant and professional and the prices were reasonable. We look forward to using Schlep yet again in the future. read more

Filled with gratitude to Chris, Morgan, Steve and Daniel at Schlep this Thanksgiving weekend. They worked miracles moving a monstrous desk set out of a room that is too small for it. Extremely professional, courteous, safe and thorough. A+++. Plus they brought me coffee! Couldn't ask for a better experience. Deep bow to you all, gentleman! read more

This is was my 2nd time using the service and had great experiences both times. I had a large piece of furniture delivered curbside and used schlep to get it into to my 3rd floor walk up. Sam and Daniel were really great and super nice - they arrived right on time, un-crated the piece for me, carefully wrapped it up, moved the piece upstairs to my unit with no problem, and even helped move the crate/pallet to the alley for me. Totally worth it. read more

Sam and Isaac were great. However they started off with a problem because one of their workers was unavailable for my time slot. They readjusted their schedule and then did an outstanding job. They were required to move a antique piece of furniture that wasn't in the best shape. They took great care in wrapping for the trip and then at the other end took great care making sure it was back together in the best shape possible. I would definitely use them again for a similar move. Kudos to Sam and Isaac. read more

Many thanks to Darryl and Richard for coming out late in the day on a weekend. Booking, billing, communication en route, moving a big old couch -- all was quick and easy. Darryl and Richard were courteous and obviously experienced; they even took care that pets did not escape while the door was open. Can't recommend them highly enough! read more

I used Schlep It for the first time last week, and it was great. Mike and Darryl arrived on time and were highly efficient in moving furniture from one suburban location to another. We received tracking information showing where the truck was from one location to the next. Men were friendly and accommodating, and the price was reasonable (actually came in at less than I was originally quoted online). read more

Great service! Stacey and Darryl were prompt, courteous, clean, communicative and efficient. They also seem to genuinely love schlepping! They delivered my sofa the next day vs. the waiting 2-4 weeks for shipping! Blu Dot, West Elm, etc have found a terrific partner!! read more

Another awesome move by Schlep! Darryl and Alexis were on time and very careful with the pickup, brought the right equipment, overcame tricky doorways at the delivery. I hope that I get them again next time I call. read more

I used these guys for a cabinet I got on Ebay, it could have been craigslist. They should probably create an app for picking stuff up. They did a really great job, and were civil. It did seem a bit more expensive than I would like for a single item, and I probably couldn't afford it if it were farther away. Maybe a cheaper place like Dolly would be better for some things, I never have used them, but Schlep are high quality movers. Price is larger by distance. I probably will use them again if the price is right for the job. I don't know how much more they would cost for bigger moves, maybe I'll use them for a larger move mattering on the price and situation. read more

Already not happy and haven't had the item delivered. The website is just not good enough - I cannot list my item appropriately because it isn't listed I'm moving a glass topped, metal leg dining table. So what do i choose dining table or glass table top. I went with glass so they know it needs wrapping. There is no where to add notes and nowhere to add photos. So how do I know that the item will be managed properly. Also could I have got away with putting dining table which would have been $20 cheaper!!!?? Then I see there is a premium charge for asking for service within 24 hours BUT that figure doesn't pop up until AFTER you have provided the credit card details and pressed BUY. This is totally not on. I should be able to see the FULL press before I decide to purchase the service. If I had known all of the above I would not have pressed buy. I am now VERY nervous that my item will be arriving safely. ** Update - Customer services have reached out and are now asking me to list as 2 separate items! wth! Firstly I shouldn't have to spend this much time getting transportation for 1 table, Secondly it shouldn't be up to me to use a crystal ball to list an item as glass table top and table base. Now trying to find the rules about cancelling the contract. Let's see how easy this will be ** continued with process as customer service was good trying to deal however The website needs work fast. increased stars because delivery guys lovely. read more

We just used Schlep for the first time and were very impressed with their service. Our movers, Daryl and LaMonte were friendly, professional, careful, and efficient. Our move was very reasonable, too. Schlep was much better than more expensive "premiere" moving services we have used in the past. read more

Sam and Eddie from Schlep picked up some furniture for me from the Blu Dot store downtown and delivered it to my house. Blu Dot suggested Schlep and I'm delighted with the work they did. They worked within the window of time I asked for, sent me updates on their progress and arrived at my home 5 minutes early. The furniture was carefully wrapped, and it was obvious from the way they carried everything that they are pros. The whole process was easy, efficient and affordable. I'm planning on contacting Schlep, and hopefully Sam and Eddie, the next time I need anything moved. I recommend them highly. read more

On time, courteous and fairly priced. Darrel and Thomas were amazing. Thanks for carefully moving my 1850 step back cupboard!

Great service! I had them pick up and move a piece of furniture into my home. The whole process was seamless. Great communication and service at a reasonable price. Would use them again in a heart beat. read more

I used Schlep today for the first time. They were prompt, professional, personable, curtious and terrific. They called to let me know where they were and when they would arrive by me. And they were there when they said they would be there. Omar helped me arrange everything. He was very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. A great people person. They were very careful with my items. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone I know. read more

I learned of Schlep through their partnership with West Elm. They delivered a beast of a console (apparently this was heavier than anything Stacey has moved in his 17 years in the business!) that had to come up a flight of stairs and navigated through the front door of our condo. Sam and Stacey earned their money, with the sweat to prove it! And they did so with a smile and good attitude. I really enjoyed my experience with them and the service provided by Schlep. Highly recommend. read more

Great first time experience using Schlep! Excellent customer service, easy booking, and fair prices. Bryant and Zak were great as well. Super communicative, showed up on time, and were a pleasure to chat with during the job. Will definitely be using this service again! read more

Darryl and Stacy were awesome. The move was fast and professional. I took a star off because there were some issues with timing but Schlep handled it professionally and with clear prompt communication. I would suggest they be really clear about a Schlep window versus a schlep appointment :) to avoid confusion. Would definitely use again! read more

Schlep was great! Christian and Wesley were really nice, and efficient! I would totally use them again.

Darryl and Jonathon delivered a nice sofa for me. They took very good care of wrapping and moving the furniture, and could not have been nicer. Highly recommend! Thanks guys!!!! read more

They moved a huge cabinet for us across a few suburban cities. The movers were kind and did a great job. Five stars!

After spending countless hours on Craigslist looking for someone to move stuff from a small storage facility to my condo, all I found were people that would not show up, or show up in a car no big enough or were plain rude. Then I came across Schlep! which is an awesome concept because what they do is simple, they move stuff! They are very nice, reliable, professional and moved my stuff with the care I would have moved it myself. I highly recommend it. read more

We had great first time experience with Schlep . We bought a credenza and arranged for a move two days later. The movers , Sam and Eduardo, were punctual, polite, efficient and friendly and did a great job. Definitely planning on using them in the future. read more

Terrible service! They were nice until my item that was worth about $700 was damaged by the mover. It was a vintage painting (huge) with original frame. They offered to bring it to their preferred framer and said that they will do anything to make me happy. So much for happy. I have been dealing with these idiots for 3 weeks now with no closure in sight. Now they tell me that they can only offer $100 worth in repair credit and I have to pay for it! Then ask for credit! Unbelievable! Why don't you call your framer and have them send you the invoice for payment! Hello! Anyways, now they are ignoring me and will not claim the damage with insurance, that is what insurance is for. They are movers! This is SOP! Don't use them if your item is worth more than $100 dollars, or you are screwed if they damage it. read more

Great reliable and economic moving service. Fast snd friendly. I would highly recommend

Sam and Chris were our Shleppers - and they were great. The whole service is terrific - with real time updates on arrivals. We had to move two chairs and the price was reasonable. Sam and Chris wrapped the chairs and then unwrapped them and placed them in our home. We will be using them again. read more

Zak and Bryant were extremely thoughtful, courteous and took great care as they delivered my new sofa. They wrapped it carefully in pads and plastic. It was snowing a ton while they moved it, and they even cleaned the snow off the plastic. They were also just plain nice. It was by far the best experience I have ever had with a furniture delivery. Zak and Bryant assured that Schlep will be my first call when I need something moved. read more

I had my first experience with Schlep this weekend - they moved a vintage cabinet for me and yes, all the positive reviews are true! Darryl and his colleague (I am so sorry that i did not write down his name at the time) let me know when they were on their way and their communication was great throughout the experience. They took great care with my cabinet and actually made it all fun, too. I have another move - of more furniture - coming up in New York and they mentioned that Schlep might be moving out in that direction. If so - I would be thrilled to hire them again! read more

Great customer interaction. I've used Schlep 3 times now and will use them again when the need arises. They are so responsive and the Schleppers have been great. This is how customer service should be done! read more

Just had my first time Schlepper help me with a tough task and it was an excellent experience. Sam came to help me move 15 HEAVY cases of wine to a wine storage facility. He texted me he was on the way, he arrived early and went to work carrying those boxes into his large SCHLEP van. We tandem drove to the facility, about 15 minutes away from my home. Then he wheeled them into my area and stacked them. He was exceedingly helpful, polite and and all around good guy. I would use Sam and Schlep again in a heartbeat. The company communication with me was timely and informative. YAY SCHLEPPERS!!!!! read more

What a great service. We live in an up-and-down duplexed condo, had them move a VERY HEAVY treadmill we had ordered to the downstairs part a couple of years ago. Today, I had ordered some new tile for our kitchen, 11 boxes weighing 72 pounds each. The delivery company wanted $760 for their "white glove service" of moving it from the sidewalk into our unit. Schlepp did it for a fifth of that, were here on time, got right to work, were polite, considerate. USE THEM! read more

Fernando and Maurice moved three large, heavy furniture items for us from two different locations up a flight of stairs on the coldest winter day (thus far) in Chicago. I can't imagine two better movers - they were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and very careful with our items. Even though they encountered a great difficulty on the way over with our furniture - a dead vehicle battery that had to be replaced! - they were apologetic about the delay and incredibly good-natured and positive. We would request them again any time we have furniture to be moved. read more

Had a move scheduled with Schlep and they just cancled 6 days before our move date. Only sent an email, no real apology or effort on their part to help us. Would never use this company again if they reserve the right to cancel at any time and for any reason. read more

My Schlep team was terrific. Richard and Darryl were courteous and professional. Darryl was expert at carefully wrapping all pieces of furniture. They arrived promptly, were efficient and friendly, and set everything up perfectly at the delivery destination. No bumped walls, or broken items. Thanks very much! The online order set up was super easy. Great communication all through the process. read more

My designers hired Schlep to deliver a piece of my sectional couch. Two guys showed up, Christian and Brian. For starters, the couch would not fit in the elevator so they had to carry it up four flights of stairs, which they did willingly without any hesitation. They had to then move a large rug to properly fit the couch and again, did very willingly, which took some time. They then got the two pieces of the sectional situated and did it perfectly. They were both more than accommodating, and very pleasant to deal with. They were very professional and kind as well. They also send you a text when they are on their way and how far away they are, which is very helpful. I would highly recommend using Schlep and would specifically ask for Christian and Brian, if possible. read more
