He was exceptional with his customer service, getting me swatches, stitching options, etc. Had to wait over 2 months. Now I know why. When I showed up to pick it up, I was stunned with the quality, and the entire interior was transformed. The quality equaled OEM Porsche seats, and maybe better: mass produced seats have "perfect" stitching, which means automated/mass produced. My insurance rates would have gone up, if they even would have paid that much for a seat. Here they rebuilt the seat with the proper Ford upholstery and it's like new again for a fraction of the cost. I could afford to just pay for it. The frame and woodwork on these chairs was in very good condition, but the upholstery was a tapestry look that was worn and had tears. I wanted these chairs to be renewed but without destroying their late 1800s character. I opted for a green velvet. I was confident that Mary would take good care of these chairs when she saw them and got excited about the restoration. These chairs turned out beautiful - Mary restored the springs, batting and straps to preserve the firm but comfortable seating. The velvet and piping work are beautiful. He showed up as scheduled a couple of days later and spent about two hours repairing the damage. This included nearly perfectly matching the complex color of the top. The match was very good initially but Donnie spent the time to perfect the match. Repairs of this type are not inexpensive but quality is worth the cost. We are VERY satisfied.

He charged $400 for this. I was shocked. Foam will compress after time and I assumed he would use a better material. I called him to discuss, and he said he was sorry I felt this way.
