Probably lower level but not the place as a whole. (although some specific dealerships have been known to be completely corrupt in the past, idk about Subaru but in general) & now they're covering their tracks for a PR nightmare if it got out, that some employees may dismantle the locator and "misplace" the car, after gaslighting saying you never brought it in. I told them to order the color swathes and i would come back with the seats in February /march to look at swatches and leave seats to be reupholstered,, .On Friday i took seats to them , we looked at swatches and i told them to order the material... , As i was leaving John- i man of few words- stops me and says that the cost will be $1450.00. i said we verbally agreed on 850.00 in October . He said its 1450.00 and i need half now to order material,, needless to say i took my seats and left. Im telling you all this cause i have zero doubt that the quoted price in October was 850. Not 1450. They are a bait and switch company , if you deal with them - and i hope you dont- get everything in writing!! Mary did an unbelievable job restoring two antique arm chairs that I inherited when my grandmother…read morepassed away. The frame and woodwork on these chairs was in very good condition, but the upholstery was a tapestry look that was worn and had tears. I wanted these chairs to be renewed but without destroying their late 1800s character. I opted for a green velvet. I was confident that Mary would take good care of these chairs when she saw them and got excited about the restoration. These chairs turned out beautiful - Mary restored the springs, batting and straps to preserve the firm but comfortable seating. The velvet and piping work are beautiful. This was our first engagement with Mary and we could not be more pleased. We have other pieces that we will be bringing to Mary for restoration.
