I told them to order the color swathes and i would come back with the seats in February /march to look at swatches and leave seats to be reupholstered,, .On Friday i took seats to them , we looked at swatches and i told them to order the material... , As i was leaving John- i man of few words- stops me and says that the cost will be $1450.00. i said we verbally agreed on 850.00 in October . He said its 1450.00 and i need half now to order material,, needless to say i took my seats and left. Im telling you all this cause i have zero doubt that the quoted price in October was 850. Not 1450. They are a bait and switch company , if you deal with them - and i hope you dont- get everything in writing!! Incidentally i found a company in Nazareth J and A Uphostery to do it for 500.00. So it did work out for me!!

A few weeks later I received a photo from the owner stating the project was finished. To my surprise it was not performed in the manner I requested. Also the corners were not flush and the fabric was not smoothly applied to the pieces. In addition I was informed that he cut/did not measure correctly and would need additional fabric. Side note: the fabric I chose was a limited edition run and is no longer available for purchase. So half of my project was not able to be completed. The fabric I chose for my pieces was expensive and he claims if he knew it was expensive fabric he would not have agreed to the project. He apparently did not know how to work with fabric like this. However he never called me before starting the project to tell me he was uncomfortable completing the project. He simply agreed to the project then failed to perform was promised. only use this business if you do not care about quality craftsmanship.

They are excellent at what they do!! They feel like honest and caring family!! They are sooooo…read morefriendly!! They get the job done!! They were done with my 6 dining room chairs within 1 week. My chairs look and feel better now than what they were when I first purchased them. They even did more to my chairs than what I knew and I wasn't charged for the extras. Example: I paid for 1 side of 1 chair to be repaired, but they did all of them, and didn't charge me for the extra ones!!! The cost is also reasonable, compared to other upholstery companies that I contacted, and they charged me a total of $75.00 to pickup my 6 chairs and then return them. Alora just reupholstered two Scandinavian swivel chairs and ottomans in red leather and they look…read morebetter than new. Other upholsterers didn't want to take this on saying these chairs were too complicated. Alora did them within weeks and they were a pleasure to deal with. While this work wasn't cheap, we couldn't be more pleased. I recommend them highly.
