We refused to pay this additional cost and asked that our furniture be returned. After months of promising to return it he surprised us be saying the repairs had been made. Upon returning the furniture, almost a year later he proceeded to tell us he would not recommend sitting in the furniture because it may not hold. I told him if I had known this I would not have had him do any of the work, which I also told him not to do. After i complained he changed his tune to say it would be okay to sit in. I am completely disappointed with this whole event and certainly will not be using him again.

I had an excellent experience with David from Dr. Furniture. I contacted him because the power…read morerecliner on my sofa had completely stopped working, and I was expecting that I would need to schedule an in-home repair which is why I initially contacted him. Instead, because he would not be in my area any time soon, David took the time to look carefully at the pictures and videos I sent him and walked me through troubleshooting the problem by text. He clearly knows power furniture inside and out. Rather than immediately assuming that I needed a new motor or an expensive repair, he helped me trace the wiring and systematically eliminate possible causes. He eventually noticed that a damaged wire connected to one of the LED light strips could be shorting out the entire system. He had me disconnect that part of the system, and sure enough--the recliner started working again! What impressed me most was that David could easily have just scheduled a service call and charged me to come out. Instead, he spent a considerable amount of time helping me diagnose and fix the problem remotely, without charging me anything. That kind of honesty, patience, knowledge, and customer service is hard to find. If I ever have another furniture repair that I can't handle myself, David at Dr. Furniture will absolutely be the first person I call. Highly recommended! May God bless you David:)

From the very beginning he made one of the most stressful situations we've encountered very manageable. Within a day, he was able to pump five to six inches of flood water out of our basement. By the next day he had the basement dry and back to normal. He then came over and monitored the basements progress for the next four days, taking photos and providing detailed documentation for us to submit to our insurance company. In the end, he charged us a super reasonable rate. For home owners in the Baltimore area, we 100% recommend Frank and A1 Carpet Cleaning. As property managers, we really value working with reliable contractors we can trust and he is a perfect example of such an individual. He and his wife have a great family run business. In the event of a flood related emergency you can definitely depend on them.
