As time goes on, there will definitely be more jobs filled up because of the job climate and job need. That will take time. Sometimes, if I'm getting a service via being a part of an entity, this is a relationship I need to consider as well to see if an online review like this could potentially be imposing. That all being said, I'm really happy to write this one on my own. It was a duct cleaning service. They had paperwork ready to go with pen, clipboard, and the equipment. The service workers communicated well with me and understood when I asked them about wearing plastic on their shoes if they would be using the white carpet area. They did not need to use the white carpet area. Also, they checked with me to see if the hose was a big deal going over hardwood floor and if I was strict about carpeting underneath. I was not strict about that, but that was super considerate of them to consider accommodating. Another reviewer said this company is great for duct cleaning as well. Their system for communication about payments was excellent for me as well. One small thing I didn't like is that they charge even for ACH payment, but less than CC. They don't charge for debit transactions, but not everyone has a debit card (or needs one.) I do like that I could pay online beforehand, at least in my case. Maybe because I was part of a bigger conglomerate of payments so that staff could just go in/out of a number of places per day. Also I liked how the prior vendor I worked with was able to clean from the outside instead but most do it from the inside. The prior vendor did not have availability. So I ended up with this one.

I'll give Servpro high marks in terms of their knowledge on how to remediate the area. I had two issues with the service though. Without my knowledge, they removed moulding in the affected area and had them destroyed. One had some mold on it on the back which easily could have been sanded down and another piece had no mold at all, but only needed to be removed to get to drywall. Neither piece was returned to me. The only explanation I received was that it was their "standard procedure" when doing insurance claims. This was no insurance claim. I'm paying out of pocket. An attempt was made at replacing the moulding, but it was the wrong type. The other issue came when the bill arrived. I was double billed for air handlers in my basement. When I pointed it out, it was reduced 25%. So I pointed it out again, and they finally got it corrected. Overall, I think highly of Servpro, otherwise, I'd scale back to two stars. But this experience has taught me a lesson in making my wishes clearer upfront.
