Lights dimming, flashing and shutting off. Power intermittent throughout the entire House but no breakers ever tripped. It kept getting worse until We Finally called gor Help. We tried 3 different Electrical Companies including the one the Insurance suggested and got either no call back or a No because We live in a small Town in the Mountains. I happened upon Dave and He answered his Phone (imagine that). He came right over and was very Friendly and very Courteous. He looked at it right then and suggested replacing a number of very old breakers which smelled burnt. He went directly to Home Depot and did the work. He also suggested calling Edison right away because He believed the cause was on the Edison side of the Panel that He cant touch. We called Edison first thing Monday morning. The first thing they wanted to know was if we had replaced the breakers first or they wouldn't have come out until we did. We were so Happy that Dave did that the first hour after we called him. Edison also came over very quickly the same day (within an Hour) and immediately found a dangerous (Fire Hazard) 45 year old connection in our Panel where it connects from the Pole (see pics). Dave agreed to talk to the Edison guy on the Phone (Who by the way knew Dave and said He was one of the last good guys willing to do work in Town). Those two worked Together to get us restored with a new panel, new extended lines from the Edison side. Dave also Talked directly to our Insurance Company while they made out all the paperwork and approved the FULL REIMBURSEMENT over the Phone. They are also scheduling the Inspection which they both need to attend since this was done on an Emergency approval basis. This could've been a complete nightmare if it wasn't for these two Stand Up Guys. Especially nowadays I was so Surprised and lucky to find such good People in our little Town.
