Prior to starting the work, I had numerous questions and interactions with the office manager. The office manager was very efficient in answering all my questions and always returned my calls in a timely manner. The work went very smoothly with the first phase being the teardown, second phase was the sheeting and repair of the damaged wood and rafters, and the third phase was the actual installation of the new shingles and ridge cap. All crews that came out were very professional, thorough, polite, and hard working. The foreman on the job took responsibility of making sure that everything was being done correctly and at the same time listened to all my concerns. My concerns were being careful that my freshly painted handrails that wrapped around the garage were not scraped or damaged, I wanted my air conditioner condensers covered so no debris would fall into them and I also wanted my wife's plants protected from roof debris during teardown. The foreman assured me that all my concerns would be addressed, and everything would be undamaged and left the way they found it. In the end, the roofing job came out very nice and I was extremely happy with their work. They came through by sticking to their schedule and completing the job exactly the way they explained it. We asked them if we could get an inspection and quote of wet spots. The owner, Cristian got his ladder out and checked out the roof. Within a day or two, we got back a quote and the price was very fair and reasonable, especially for the amount of tiles that needed to be lifted and reinstalled. The work consisted of replacing the worn out underpayment at two areas on the roof. We signed the agreement and his crew came out the following day to do the work. Although it was over 100 degrees in blistering heat, the work was done quickly and professionally. They did a great job cleaning up the property after the work was completed. They even had replacement roof tiles ready, in case they broke any originals! I like working with A-Pro roofing because the price was great and the owner was extremely friendly and prompt to address our concerns. His crew was also respectful of the property and keeping things clean and orderly. I would recommend and use A-pro roofing again for my future roofing needs.. They are based in Palmdale, so I'm not sure what their normal work range is. But other than that, which shouldn't be a deal breaker, I would totally recommend them.

Last Summer, we hired AV Roofing to fix our roof. We had just done a cash-out refinance to make all repairs on the house. We pretty much said "fix the roof so it doesn't leak anymore." They came out and redid half of the front of our home. We also hired them to make sure the area our solar panels were going in was sound. It was a good chunk of change, but that was what the money was for. However, the exact same spot that always leaked started leaking again after the very first rain a couple months after they were done. We were under warranty but they wanted to charge us to clean out the channels that they had just redone. They had even cut back the tree when they were working, so I couldn't understand how it had gotten full of leaves and caused another leak in just a couple of months. But they did eventually come out and fix it for free. Then the tropical storm hit this summer. A new leak sprouted in a brand new area, but just a few feet away from the original leak. A bad one. It tore a three foot-wide hole in the ceiling in my office. I waited a coupe weeks after the storm, figuring everybody was calling about leaks after that storm. However, I was still told it would be three weeks before they would have someone out in our area just to do an estimate. After a couple of weeks, I had to reach out to find out if we had a date for the estimate. That's when they suddenly had an opening the next day and if I couldn't take that, it wouldn't be for another couple weeks. Even though we asked them last summer to just make sure the roof was good, they still said the new leak wasn't covered. I didn't want to keep going with them, but they were the cheapest estimate I got (having spent all our re-fi money on other repairs after we thought we got the roof fixed), so I signed the proposal on 10/24. I was told they were scheduling for November and Early December. I emailed several times and was told I'm not on the schedule yet. Last time I made contact I was told "...looks more like the week of December 11th or 18th." Well, it's the 20th of December and still absolute silence from them. I've gone ahead and signed a contract with another roofer. Waiting for AV Roofing now means I don't have a fix date until March, but at least I have a date!
