Two of our closest friends decided to have their wedding in Maui this year. We were definitely up for the adventure. In October of 2011, three friends and I used ScheckTrek Travel to procure lodging for a five-day safari in Masai Mara, Kenya. I can not thank Vicki enough for arranging such a special cruise for my wife's birthday. There were 23 of us in all at the end and we all had a great time. She did not only help with the cruise arrangements, but she helped set up a party on the ship and all the amenities. Can you say Travel agent and party planner in one?!?!?! She was also great in keeping the group and I informed about status on payments, tips for excursions, helpful tips about getting ready and everything. There wasn't a thing she missed. On top of that, she sent each of a very nice luggage tag before the cruise and a bon voyage/Happy Birthday basket to our cabin. I used ScheckTrek Travel for a business trip to New York. They were able to get me a hotel rate that was $39 less than the negotiated rate for the trade show I was attending. When I checked in, the clerk said, "I see you've requested a recently renovated room." I hadn't, but ScheckTrek had asked them to take good care of me. Most important, on the day I was to fly home, I was too sick to travel. I made one call to the agency, and they handled not only extending my stay at the hotel, but changing the flight as well - even though I hadn't originally booked the flight through them! My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in October, so we wanted to take a special trip this summer with our teen aged sons to celebrate. I can't say enough about my travel agent Vicki at ScheckTrek Travel! I wanted to have a special family trip before my older son left for college this summer. Vicki suggested Ireland. It's not a place I would have thought of going to and our whole family is so glad she suggested it! Vicki is very easy to work with, quick to respond to questions, provided suggestions of places to visit and sought our input every step of the way, and most importantly worked very hard to stay within the budget we provided.
