Rushmore in South Dakota. Along the way we had a jam-packed schedule which I am not complaining about because it made us very productive, and always on-the-go seeing new sights. We covered eight (8) states which included: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. Along the way we visited several historic sites like Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and many more! Each hotel we stayed at were very nice and clean. We only stayed at one motel which was just outside of Yellowstone (in Montana). Four (4) out of the seven (7) hotels provided free breakfast. During the drives, we would only be on the road for about one hour thirty minutes (1:30) to two (2) hours at a time. We would stop at rest stops and/or lunch. Each lunch stop had a Chinese buffet ranging from $14-$16 (drink included). BEWARE, avoid the Las Vegas Buffet in Nevada! It is HORRIBLE. To the left of that buffet there is a small Mexican restaurant which I recommend. Each buffet had neighboring restaurants which my party chose to do because it turned out cheaper than paying ~$15 per person. My tour guide's name was Paul and the driver's name was Mr. Shung (or Jung?). Paul was a nice tour guide, but some of his remarks to others were very rude and unprofessional. He spoke in both Chinese and English. He has a slight accent which made his English a little hard to understand, so I would just wait until we got to each spot to see what the names of those places were (i.e. Grand Prismatic & Painting Pots). I wish he knew a little more insight about each place because the descriptions he shared was very short and bland. The whole tour was time-managed very well. We stayed at each sight for about fifty (50) minutes to an hour. We were always on time and Paul made sure we were never late because we had a lot of places to visit. As for the driver, I liked him very much. There was never a time where I felt unsafe with his driving. His speed stayed constant at 75mph (I sat in the front so I noticed his speed). Thankfully, the people on our bus was not loud at all. And if I was I annoyed I would have just put in my earphones. So I have no complaints there. This tour company is catered mostly towards Chinese individuals, however, I myself am not Chinese and I still enjoyed every second of the trip. (Sorry for the long review, I just wanted to share my delightful experience!)

Jenny was able to custom create a great itinerary for us that hit on the main destinations I requested to see. Accommodations met standard for the price point and generally will be at good chain hotels overseas unless the location is too remote or inconvenient. Food was generally excellent and authentic, with private tours giving you an option to make requests as you build the itinerary. We had one sub-par meal but Jenny was quick to make it right with additional meals not originally covered during our trip. We'll continue to organize trips with Jenny when we can!

On the third day of the trip, I became seriously ill and remained sick in the hotel for about six days. Despite this being a senior tour, the tour leader never came to check on me even once. I repeatedly tried to contact her, and even hotel staff attempted to help me reach her, but there was essentially no response. I was left alone in a foreign country while seriously sick and had to depend on hotel staff for medication, guidance, and basic help. Even while extremely weak, I was still forced to drag my luggage long distances because the tour bus was often parked far from hotel entrances. At the same time, I was repeatedly rushed to "hurry up" while younger individuals associated with KAZN 1300AM stood nearby without offering any help. The tour was heavily promoted together with KAZN 1300AM, creating the impression there would be meaningful activities or performances involving the radio personalities. This never happened. We were later told that simply seeing them in person should already be considered "a big favor." For the high price charged, the level of care, honesty, and support provided to senior travelers was completely unacceptable.

Let me start from the very beginning…read more I needed to get my Chinese Visa done for travel in February 2020. I thought the only place I could get it done was at the Chinese Passport & Visa Office, Chinese Consulate General in LA. I prepared all my documents (or lack thereof) and went to the LA office. It didn't turn out so well for me at the LA office because I didn't have cash ($2) to get my hotel itinerary printed out. I was frustrated because I waited 2 hours just to be told I was missing my hotel itinerary and that they needed it to process the Visa (-_-) and I wasted my gas by driving all the way to LA even though I'm from the 626 area. I texted my friend about my frustrations and she suggested I go here since I am a U.S. Citizen. And because she's gotten her Visa done here too. Apparently if you're not a U.S. citizen you HAVE to go to the LA Chinese consulate passport office. She told me it would cost $180 to get my Visa done here. I decided to try my luck so I came here Christmas Eve. First impressions, Helen was a very sweet and helpful lady. Helen was very nice and said I made her job easy since I had all the documents prepared (Typed Visa application, copy of drivers license to prove residency, copy of passport page with the identification, passport photo for application, flight itinerary there, and hotel itinerary confirmation). Helen told me it would be available for pick up on Tuesday, Dec. 31. She called me to tell me it was available. I didn't actually pick it up until Sat. Jan. 4. I wish I knew about this place before wasting my time going to LA. For $40 extra (Visa costs $140) I didn't mind getting it done here because of the proximity of the location to where I lived and how easy it was to get it done. I will recommend this place to anyone who is a U.S. citizen looking to get their Visa done if they do not want to wait in the long lines at the LA Chinese passport office.
