    Honestly forget what this is.

Always a fun place to hit up with the boys. I wouldn't say this is a chill spot, per se. It turns into a madhouse starting around happy hour. It's kind of one of those places where you walk in and it's impossible to tell immediately what you're supposed to do. "Do I seat myself? Is there a host? Do I order at the counter?" Anyone with anxiety who has never been there before may immediately want to turn around and get the hell out of there. Since you do seat yourself here, your best bet is to kind of scan the room and hopefully spot an open table. Once you've secured a piece of valuable real estate, it's smooth sailing from there. A server will inevitably find you (tables are close to each other so a server will eventually walk in your vicinity), and get you started with one of their signature dishes. From my experience, the fan favorites are the wings, flatbread pizzas, and popcorn. Yes, they have what I can only describe as "artisanal" popcorn, coming in such variations as Parmesan Truffle, White Cheddar Bacon, and the timeless Salted Caramel. At Schaylor, wings are oven baked, which certainly is a method. I'm a fried wings guy at heart, since the crispness of the skin is just on another level, but I can appreciate a good baked wing. As for the sauces, wow, just so on point. They really go for a nice blend of hot & sweet, with flavors like Kickin' Bourbon, Mango Habanero, Thai Chili, and Honey Sriracha. For the masochists, you can go for traditional hot wings, and even a tier higher with Molten Lava. There's no sweetness here, just pure white hot capsaicin. The sauce is red like a pepper, but trust me when I say it tastes like literal fire. Popcorn is usually on 75% of tables. These sweet little corn clusters are suitable for any group makeup - a couple on a date, family with kids, coworkers at happy hour - perhaps the better question to ask yourself is, "When is popcorn NOT a good fit?" It's the appetizer that doesn't eat like an appetizer. If you're one of those people who sees Crab Dip and thinks, "Nah, too heavy," popcorn is the perfect alternative. And yes, the pizza. Well, what can I say? They come out as big, slabs of melty goodness. Tons of variety here, anything from three cheese vegetarian to meat lovers with pepperoni, bacon, and ham. A lot of pigs died for this. There is also a crab pizza with red onion, cherry tomatoes, garlic aioli, and Old Bay that, as a frequenter of Maryland and self-proclaimed crab cake enthusiast, I desperately need to try. At night, it becomes more beer oriented. You'll still see people indulging in popcorn until close, but the action shifts from the outer tables near the front of the building to the back room. This is where space opens up, people have more room to float around and schmooze. In the back you'll also find a pool table (and the bathrooms, too). One area I haven't personally experienced is the WAY back, aka outside. There's a nice patio setup out there with cornhole and other fun things to do. I think I saw some pictures of an inflatable bouncy castle. So yeah, always a good time here, especially in the warmer months. Spacious parking lot, but even that will fill up at peak hours. I don't know what you'd do in that situation since there's no street parking. Park in an adjacent lot maybe? Hey, the Excitement Adult Superstore is right next door. Just be warned, a visit there could totally change the direction of the evening.

We had our engagement party at Schaylor Brewing Company. From the start of planning, Falicia was amazing, the communication was easy and everything went so smoothly. The day of our event, the staff was amazing and was able to handle 85 people with no problem! Emma organized everything perfectly and was super friendly with everyone. I would highly recommend using Schaylor Brewing Company for any of your events. A great venue and great staff!

Right off the major thoroughfare, so not tough to find. Parking was tighter than I would have expected, but not a problem. Lots of seating inside, with just great vibes going on inside. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time when we went on a Saturday afternoon, and the staff was friendly enough. Our waitress was dealing with an obviously difficult table and I think she was getting a bit fried, but she clearly was doing her best in a tough situation, so I call that part of the meal a healthy scratch. The beer was, honestly, way better than I expected. There are tons of breweries everywhere now, and I've learned to temper my expectations going in to most new breweries. Not that they're bad, but just not always what I'd hoped. That wasn't the case here. The flight I had was reasonably priced, the beers were fun and creative, and all were well expedited. The blonde stout (called the Damn Daniel) and the sour (can't remember the name, but I ordered it because it was a collab with a local juice business) stood out as being unlike any beer I've had. Both were incredible and I'd go back here for them alone. The reason for four instead of five stars... the food was fine. Just... fine. It felt like the joy of creation and craft that went into the beers just wasn't quite there on the food. I'd eat here again, and probably will, but I'll be going for the beer and maybe sticking to some shared apps for the table.

Large parking lot and a fairly large indoor area with a pool table too. Bar area seating and dining seating around. There is also an outdoor seating area and looks like they may have like music since there is a stage set up. They do serve food and there were about 11 beers on tap. Friendly staff as well. We ordered a flight of beer [4] Upstream - this was actually very light and doesn't taste like a cream Ale at all. You get a very small hint in the smell but the beer itself doesn't tasty creamy at all. Lunar Eclipse - Much lighter than a blue moon, not as much citrus, wheat or orange. The orange does come through pretty well though throughout and after. Pineapple Express - for a DIPA, it was not super hoppy and you do get a great pineapple flavor. Surprisingly very good considering I'm not an IPA fan. Sippin with Sid - This was my favorite by far, it was not as sweet as I anticipated and tasted a bit like a cookie dough. I really enjoyed it and it smells sweeter than it tasted. We ordered a shareable Mushroom Flatbread pizza and a Cavatappi Mac N' Beer Cheese with Lump crab, jalapeno and old bay as add on. Both were really good. The Flatbread edges were a tad burnt as rhey were thinner while the inner dough was a little thicker and slightly undercooked but loved the flavor. The mac n cheese was SO GOOD. I decided to be weird and put my Mac N Cheese on my pizza, and I personally loved it. We got small samples of the Goddamit Kyle [Fruity Pebbles Wheat Sour w/ Strawberry, Raspberry, Bluerbby and Lactos [actually pretty sour but do you get the fruity pebbles taste and a Strawberry jam smell], the Kenny Sour [Blueberry, Peach, vanilla, dragonfruit marshmallow sour which was light and you barely get any hints of the flavors described], and the S'moreo Speedwagon which does taste like smores without being super heavy or overly sweet as a Stout. I liked it here and would definitely come back!

Schaylor had everything I could ask for from a brewery- great beer, great food, prompt and friendly service, and Philly sports on TV. I was here with as part of a post wedding rehearsal dinner party. We had an out door section reserved with a catered food table. The table consisted of hummus, pizza, salad, wings, and a few other things. The food was very tasty and the staff kept it will supplied. We had one server taking drink orders from about 20 of us and she never missed a beat. She explained the beers, and made sure we were never empty handed. The beer was awesome! I had the S'moreo Speedwagon and What's Dead May Never Die (9.8%, wow). I am into heavy stouts and these two both hit the mark. There was a wide variety to try, and I would definitely go back do so. They have a large, spacious outdoor section with couches and a corn hole set. The inside is clean and well spaced. They have 2 single use bathrooms, and a lot of big TVs.

I like how they play sports and other events on the TV, the food is really good. The waiter was really nice, great food.

Stopped here for a beer after having been somewhere else so we only tried the Margherita flatbread pizza which was really good. The beer selection was good and we enjoyed the Berricuda and Lunar Occultation. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was great! There was a mix- from folks playing pool to families with small kids having dinner.

Good beer, nice people, food was also excellent and presented nicely. The jalap popper dip was excellent, as well at the pretzel buns they had. Pizzas also look good. 4 stars because it smells kinda brewery ish inside. Like the place is on fire. Will come back though.

Best sour beers in the area. The staff is amazing. The food is cheap and always delicious.

Throw in some TVs, a big U-shape bar for maximum area, thus making it my favorite bar shape. Have you ever been standing in one of those straight-line bars, and you're about three layers of people away from even sniffing the bar. It's claustrophobic, it creates a needless bottleneck, it feels like you're about to be crushed. Not here. It's open with super high ceilings. You can go outside and play cornhole in the crisp fall air. The whole place is easily accessible either by using the parking lot out front or the even bigger parking lot in the rear. I think there is some sort of hidden ballroom downstairs for private events. Every now and then you see a whole wedding procession just casually stroll on through. I guess it's the hot destination, which makes total sense when you take a step back and can see Sly Fox for what it truly is, which is your cookie cutter craft brewery bar experience you've seen countless times up and down the eastern seaboard. I gotta give it to them, Sly Fox was one of the few breweries to break through to kind of the ultimate level. To the point where it goes well beyond just having your beer appear in local bar taps, but to be the establishment itself, and in this case, a successful chain of them. With its headquarters in Pottstown, it's always nice to see success stories like these with local roots. I will look back and think fondly of these days before it becomes a giant evil mega corporation snuffing the life out of smaller startup breweries like it once was by the dozen. Until then, might as well enjoy the ride.
