My rating is based on a recall appointment for my Bronco. I did not purchase my car at this location, but I did have it serviced here for a couple of recalls and the service team was amazing!!!! They were soooo kind. So helpful. It was hard to schedule time to bring my car in because of my work schedule. When I told them I work from home and don't have a ride to come back and get the car, they delivered it back to me at my home for free! They also had a ford shuttle take me home after I dropped it off. I'm not sure if all Fords do this, but it made my day! read more

Bought our car when used car prices were at their peak. We knew this going in. Negotiated a price that I thought was somewhat reasonable. Once we got into the finance process and paperwork has started being signed we were informed that LoJack was installed on the car and additional paint protection. That added additional $2000 to the total price and for them I did not want these but they were already installed/applied. Should've walked away. It just felt shady. More recently, I've been other dealerships where I felt like I was treated with more respect. read more

I placed a deposit on the car I wanted, but since it was late and I had my 5-year-old with me, I told them we would return the next day to pick it up. They assured me they were putting a "sold" sign on the vehicle. The next morning, I received a text saying they had sold the car to someone else. I was completely blindsided and honestly felt incredibly small in that moment. My 5-year-old had been so excited--we had just come from an MRI appointment, which the team was aware of, and it made the situation even more upsetting. To make matters worse, the sales manager was extremely rude when addressing the situation and showed no empathy or accountability. This experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I came to the dealership to get The Works package. I came within the last hour of the business day, but the service advisor Conner was very polite. However, I didnt realize how this would affect my entire experience. They finished servicing my car within 40 mins. Conner informed me about my brakes and tire treads and said everything else was fine - but everything was not fine. As soon as I pulled out the garage I noticed my window washing fluid was still empty and my tires still read 30 psi instead of 35. Thinking my car needed to adjust to the pressure and that it was already closing time, I decided to come back the next day and make the hour long drive back. When I got home, I looked under my hood and noticed to other reservoirs, brake fluid & antifreeze, were very low or seemingly empty. Both were checked off as good, which is incorrect. I went back the next day and a different service advisor with a thick black beard talked with me. I addressed my grievances and while he may have seemed polite, he spoke down to me asking me if I knew what the reservoirs were. That is when he only checked my tire pressure sticker on the side of my door, not what my dashboard read, and said that my tires are at 35. He continued and finally mentioned that those reservoirs need to be flushed. Conner NEVER mentioned anything about that, nor did he mark it on the paperwork as "caution" or "needs attention". And with that the other advisor shooed me away after filling my washing fluid. A week later, I emailed and left a voice message for service mgr Renji George requesting a callback about the situation. Its been another week and he still has not called me. The entire experience has been absolutely awful. Half of my money should be refunded since only half the job was done. I will also rate my experience on other outlets and never come back here again. read more

This dealership then did a full "inspection" of the car and handed me a book of work they'd be happy to add that day. In the incompetent inspection I didn't ask for, they didn't bother to put things on the car back properly and half the recommendations on that list absolutely did not need done! This isn't opinion. ANOTHER Ford dealership JUST did some of that same work in recent months!! But WORSE than the horrible service is that Bob Rohrman immediately adds your name to a litany of advertising lists and no matter how many times you contact them directly, complain to Ford Corporate, they DO NOT STOP! They took a very long time to complete the work and was without a vehicle And when finally being able to pick up the car weeks later it had to go right back in for the same issue and again without a car for another two weeks then like they didn't even look it over before giving it to us . And management team inboxes was always full. I wonder why. This used to be my dealership where I'd always recommend people to go for professional service but not anymore! Car dealership did not display Buyer Guide on the vehicle which violates federal requirements. Once I sat down to discuss pricing they increased the price by $3000 in their system and tried to start negotiating from a higher price despite me having screenshots of the lower price on their website that morning. They also put a sticker over a chip in the windshield in all of their advertising photos, that I didn't discover until after vehicle was purchased. Vehicle had suspension damage that was not disclosed and began to violently wobble on the drive home from the dealership. I returned to ask them to fix whatever issue it was and the manger I had spoken to was so rude and degrading towards me. They told me it was my fault for driving over 55mpg and took no responsibility for the issue. The car was absolutely unsafe to operate. They did not fix the suspension issue, they told me to take the vehicle to a Jeep dealership myself and get it fixed. I refused and left the vehicle with them to handle. Only after finding out the part was under warranty they agreed to "facilitate" the repair on my behalf by dropping the Jeep at a Jeep dealership. After which they refused to pay the lender on the vehicle I traded in within the agreed upon 20 day window until I had to call them repeatedly over multiple days and force them to overnight a check. I now am responsible for paying that lender the additional per diem interest on that loan that they did not cover during the window they were contractually obligated to pay in. This dealership has consistently acted in ways that are illegal and absolutely unethical. I would give them zero stars if able to. Every single interaction with them was unprofessional, demeaning, and outright rude. Every excuse in the book and outright lying to me even when I would call and them telling me they are out of the office, while I was calling from my car watching them inside the dealership. DO NOT SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! I got new brakes and pads and within 30,000 miles the brakes were rumbling and shaking while I was braking. I do not drive fast or brake hard so these brakes and rotors should have lasted way longer. I called to see if they would fix the issue since they used bad parts and they said no because the brakes are only 12mo/12,000 mile warranty. Such BS. Go to any other shop. read more

Went in for service for a recall. Had it back in 2 days. Had to go back because something was loose. Went home had to go back again because something was loose again. Had to go back for a 4th time because my exhaust was making weird sounds. Technician said it was just rust. Overall horrible experience. Anthony the service guy was amazing. He was very apologetic about the situation, he helped me in every step and explained everything good to me. Overall he's the only 5 star rating. I recommend you go to him if you need service. 1/6/24. My husband dropped off his car on December 30 2024 for an oil change and later in the day was informed of numerous repairs and asked to bring his car back to complete them. Because there was a holiday in-between Renji assured us that the parts would be in on Friday and not to bring the car in on Thursday as previously discussed. On Friday Jan 3rd well into the afternoon we call for an update to be informed by Ron that all the parts are not in. After lengthy conversations and an apology, we left the car for another day of work. on Saturday again we get a call the would not be ready and we were offered a rental car (this was requested not by Ford but by me). As with all rentals you are asked to bring the car back with a full tank, we understood this. Today is Monday, January 6, and my husband goes to go pick up his car. For the second time his car was not washed after a completed service. The icing on the cake is the fact that my husband was told he had to bring back the rental car with a full tank of gas because it was "full," when given to him. My husband goes to the gas station prior to Ford. Based on the amount of driving at most 2 gallons should have been used. (Mind you this is a new car and we looked up the gas gauge but were unable to determine its level upon pickup.) My husband had to fill this car 9 gallons of gas. With receipt in hand my husband called out the issue and was first offered $20 off his bill. I am sorry but I am appalled by this. The lack of communication and cutting of corners is unacceptable. -------- 9/27/24 Service department was more willing to work with us following this review. -I did call and left a voicemail for the GM which was never returned. -They assisted with my husband's car providing a pick up and delivery. A call was provided to update on the status of the car on the date the repairs were occurring. -However I will state that attention to detail continues to be lacking. The head rest was removed and not put back. During the repair, a weather strip within the windshield was dislodged and left exposed. -They also sent service techs to pick up our car in a police car which was very alarming to see pulling up to your house without warning. -My recommendation on this location is still iffy but appreciate the effort. Time will tell if they continue to put forth effort in attempts to maintain current customers and business. ------ Service department does not communicate well have had more than one encounter of this. Not only is it hard to get anyone on the phone they do not contact customers when more issues arise than anticipated. read more

It was a brand new Ford bronco I strongly suggest do not go here because you will be going through it. We are very happy with our vehicle and the final purchase price, and all in person interactions were professional. During the negotiations over email and text message and then during the in person financing there were repeated efforts by the dealership to slip in extra costs. After requesting and being given an out the door price, i was presented with a bill of sale that included an additional $3,000 charge for locking lug nuts, protective spray and door guards. I was repeatedly urged to look at 6-7 year loans while specifics as to why a term that long were glossed over. I agreed to a $10 a month service contract with the finance manager. A few weeks after the purchase my lender informed me that $6,000 in service contracts were added to the loan. Be very cautious and thorough when dealing with this dealership. Negotiate your trade in value, do not accept their first offer. Ultimately we agreed to halve the $3,000 charge for additional features and the service contracts were forgiven. They have an employee whose job is to undo service contracts that assists after purchase. Be prepared for shenanigans. read more

I called Wednesday the 22nd. explained my tires were making a noise. i was told they would look it over. but if I want a diagnostic it would be 180.00. Today August 24,2024. went to get my brakes done. my lug nuts were not torqued. I saw him hand remove my lug nuts. my brake plug was also missing. We purchased a 2021 Ford Expedition Max on 12/20/2024. Our salesman, Julian was excellent. The whole experience took a turn in the finance area. We met with Michael Mallory, and agreed to add a service contract for $3,995.00. We paid cash. Once we got home, we noticed that he had added in 2 items that we had never discussed, much less agreed to - Recovr Vehicle Location and theft recovery device agreement, and Paint and Fabric Protection and Limited Warranty Contract for a total of $2,298.00, both of which are not required to purchase a vehicle. We emailed him twice asking for an explanation, he ignored both, and never responded. Even worse, we wrote an actual letter to Kevin Gordon, the General Manager, and he never responded either. That shows that not only do they ignore that type of behavior, they actually condone it. Very poor ethics from the top on down. If you buy a car from this dealership, be very careful - they might try to slip something past you as well. I would have given them zero stars, but our actual sales experience with Julian was excellent. Everything that happened after that was extremely disappointing and frustrating. It smacks of stereotypical sneaky car salesman tactics at best, complete deliberate deception at worst. UPDATE: Kevin Gordon (General Manager of Schaumburg Ford) personally contacted us, and made things right! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! Unethical practices ingrained in every level of leadership that I could attest. Purchased a Blue Advantage Gold Certified truck and I will describe step by step my experience: 1- Negotiation: online salesrep tried to tie-sell me maintenance plan, GPS, and wheels/interior insurance. Told me flat out and it's documented over text that the advertised truck price was only true if I purchased the other 3 items (7k over). I had to state my disappointment after spending hours negotiating and that I would walk out of the deal if all of them were not removed. Best I got was keeping the GPS for extra 500$. 2- Pre-work/arrival: terrible. Flew out of state to drive the truck back and they had me waiting 4 hrs before I could leave as they hadn't run the financing numbers to try to beat the financing offer I had in hands - when I got there, they hadn't even started. 3- BLUE ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED: trusting the brand, I just saw it was certified but didn't look through the fine print on what I was entitled to. When I asked the finance manager out of courtesy if I could get a gas tank, he offered me 6 gallons (30$ over a 2500x truck) which I thought was bad customer service but whatever... IF I ONLY KNEW HE FLAT OUT DENIED ME WHAT I PAID FOR BEING A GOLD CERTIFIED BLUE ADVANTAGE VEHICLE - , specifically, I should have gotten a full gas tank, oil & filter change, and new wipers. Further looking into the truck's report, I realized oil was changed almost 3k miles before I had the vehicle. What else could I be missing here??? Gave them a week to come back with a proposal here, it's start of week 3 and I can't find the finance manager any longer - not answering my calls nor returning my messages. General manager couldn't care less as he deferred me to his staff the first time I reached out and still asked my number the second time I emailed them (really, couldn't pick up my file somewhere or reach out to his staff directly and ask?). Escalated to Ford on the phone - which did provide me great customer service, by the way. I'm also filing a case with Illinois' Commerce Commission. You guys are an embarrassment to the Ford brand and for all other dealerships who are trying to be fair and provide ethical service, not nickel-and-diming your customers for every penny you can squeeze out. read more

I traveled five hours to purchase a used car from Ron Keller at Schaumburg Ford. The professionalism and respect I was shown throughout the entire process was second to none. I was amazed at the transparency during the deal. I was never surprised by a "hidden" fee or told half-truths. The finance department treated me like a family friend and Brian Plyam seemed genuinely concerned about my purchase, respectfully gave me options to protect my purchase and did not use high pressure sales pitches to get me to buy additional items. My car was delivered in like new condition, Jose's (the porter) work on it was incredible, you could definitely see his attention to detail and that he took pride in his work. I went for a simple toe link recall and told them I only wanted one of the recalls available done because of the time as I'd be waiting there in person. Multiple times they tried to set up doing all and I had to repeat myself. I certainly didn't say I wanted a 40 point inspection, which they did without my authorization, then handed me what was practically a book of suggested repairs, multiple of which I absolutely knew were unnecessary because they had been done in recent months! What a con! They'd love to have me drop $10k on brakes that don't need done, a serpentine belt that was just replaced, and on and on! During their unauthorized and clearly unprofessional inspection they left the tire valve caps loose, side mirrors pushed in, greasy hand prints inside and out, the car sputtered for days after (it never sputtered before), and I love the digital photos they have to "show " what is wrong. Only the gullible would believe those images show anything. Best yet they have since inundated me with so much spam, unwanted snail mail, emails, texts that after an entire month and my MULTIPLE requests I continue to receive. They want me to sign up for Sirius, take insurance, ads and more ads, you name it. I went for a RECALL! Required to be done by a dealer. I did not want all the bs. I wouldn't go back there if it were the last mechanic in an impending apocalypse. I love the other Ford dealership I typically use, though they are in another state. Best dealership in town. There's no other dealer in Illinois that compares to this one. I'm a passionate automobile enthusiast with no patience for BS and THIS dealer has NONE of that. I walked in and I was greeted softly and warmly by the front desk discussing the reason for my visit and understanding if I was browsing or looking for something specific. When I spoke about a specific vehicle I wanted I was referred to Tiffany the sales manager. She was as warm and welcoming as the front desk people were. Tiffany paid careful attention to what I wanted and what I was looking for. I never felt rushed or pressured. I felt MY time and what I wanted is what mattered to her, which it did! She introduced me to her product specialist Roland ( With a cool Cowboy hat and a great sense of humor to accompany it). While Roland knew full well I wasn't in the market to buy a car in the near future he still spent almost 2 hours with me discussing my options, my needs, and how to get those needs taken care of. By the end of my visit, Roland helped me place an order for the exact vehicle I want. Despite not making a sale that day, they invested those nearly 2 hours in MY NEEDS and they showed me how much MY time meant to them. I'm almost 40 years old and I've never purchased a brand new car before in my life, and you know what? This is the place that's going to happen and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Roland for explaining things so well and exploring everything down to the last detail to get me what I want and what I need. After back/forth speaking with the sales associate, I was set to purchase a preowned 2020 Land Rover Defender. A deposit was placed on 9/20, with a set time for pickup arranged 9/22. On 9/22 I confirmed with the dealership that I will be arriving. We came after our scheduled time and parked next to the vehicle I had placed a deposit on. This is where I'm actually appalled any dealership could handle a sale so poorly: I open the car door and am hit with the stench of smoke. There are crumbs all over the seats and pieces of cake. There are white stains through the back seats. An empty carton of cigarettes and ash spread along the door sill. There are pens on the drivers side and cough drops on the passenger side door jam. There is garbage in the center console. There was a coffee cup in the cup holder. The floors are a complete mess. The inside of the car was trashed. When asked about it, the sales associate said that the general manager Alex Brixie had taken the car overnight. This mess does not happen overnight. And once a deposit is placed why is the car being driven at others' leisure? I had a set time for pickup and despite being trashed, I can't wrap my head around how a dealership wouldn't even try to clean it before the buyer arrives. I ask one of the other managers to take a look and he states that he'll have it all cleaned up, $100 clean job as though he is doing me a favor by having the car I'm buying in buy-ready condition. Another worker was visibly upset, and told us we didn't need to make a big deal about this and stormed inside. At no point was an apology offered, or anything more than "I'll have your car cleaned after it was trashed and not ready in time for your scheduled pickup" I can't imagine any dealership allowing their vehicles to be treated this way, especially by the General Manager - Alex Brixie, and after a deposit has been placed... I brought my vehicle in for a multipoint inspection ($190) plus a recall inspection on Dec 9, 2024. COINCIDENTALLY my car starts throwing corrupt computer and electrical codes a few weeks later and stalling/locking up while in gear mode (driving) and at idle. Today Dec 30, 2024 I bring my vehicle and concerns to schaumburg ford and address the coincidence that my car was in perfect working condition until they performed an "inspection". I was met with excuses, "well your car is an ex LE car" "oh at that mileage things will go bad" "its not us we did nothing to cause that issue" .....I demanded another diagnose (which i was charged again an additional $190) and funny since i pre diagnosed the car and gave them all the codes. They didnt catch my codes but found another separate code to a throttle body. During my discussion with the advisor and my concern that with these random electrical lockups while driving creating a concern of life or death that could arise; the tech Victor Escamillo proceeded to tell me "we are not in the business of saving lives" , How dare you say something like that to a customer who buys your cars? So i guess ford is in the business to get sued and sell shit cars at astronomical prices and rob people with their services. I addressed the service manager Renji George of that comment and my issues and he covered for his tech and took zero responsibility nor showed any signs of remorse or apology. Apparently for the dealer to be responsible an issue has to arise within 24-48 hours after service has been done but if its a few weeks after its all on the customer. I even asked if it is remotely possible that it could be negligence on the tech or if a mistake could have been made to which the response was "no we do our job and this is not at fault of ours in any way" pretty bold statement coming from them. $400 dollars later in labor fees alone (i bought my own parts since a throttle body at Ford is fucking $500 by itself and at Oreillys for the same part its $240) i get my part changed including a additional fuel injector cleaning done. Labor charged two times within the same hour by the same tech; the math doesnt math here. This dealership is a den of thieves and liars and I strongly advise anyone who needs work done to be very careful of their sly tactics and deceitful manipulation in upselling their products and charging for labor which has been time and time proven extremely ineffective. PS their recall services are crap too; they take your car spend a whole day and all of a sudden they dont have parts in inventory so you are out a day on your vehicle AND they give you the car back with the same existing problem. I am beyond disgusted with Schaumburg Fords behavior and extremely distasteful work practices and if I could I would reverse time scratch ford and go back to chevy or another brand dealer who genuinely cares about the safety of their vehicles and concerning of their customers with honesty and transparency. My car was serviced at Schaumburg ford for a toe link recall. Zac the service manager advised me that my struts were rusted. I could not afford the cost of $600 to repair. He worked with me so I could get the job done. I appreciate his service and concern for my safety. read more

recently went in to several Bob Rohrman dealerships including Ford on Golf road. Their dealerships I contacted and visited all carried used BMW i3s. I found several that I was interested in and after following these vehicles for several weeks and watching their prices come down, I set up appointments to view. Seems like the Rohrman dealerships are now adding what I call Polyrazmataz....this time they called it diamond coat. $2,000-$1600 in additional cost to their vehicles, one of which had body damage and it was still applied over the damaged area. Terrible and salesman that push you to Buy everything and don't even explain what your buying. Also sell warranties that require them to give you two sets of keys and two key fobs and they refuse to give you a second key. You can call anytime and talk to any number of "managers" that will tell you they will look into it and you will never hear from them again. Called several times and as soon as you need anything they just pass you around the shop there and no one helps. read more

I cannot believe I'm giving a car dealership 5 stars... But, I am. I've given at least 3 other dealerships 1 star in the past 3 years. I bought a used (8 year old) vehicle here a couple days ago. A 2011 Kia Forte Koup with 139k miles. It's a car for my step-daughter who just started college a month or so ago. We wanted to get her something fairly low cost, but, something that would last her all of college. We saw this used car and asked to take a look at it. It was a new trade in that wasn't yet inspected by the dealership, but, it was obvious it had a couple maintenance services needed (breaks, tires, alignment). Those items could cost between $800 and $1500+ depending where you get the work done, and, what parts you use. This was a bargaining chip for me, and, easier for the dealer as they didn't have to do the work, I did. So, I was able to get a very nice price for the vehicle. No reason to put exactly their list price, and, what I got it for. But, lets just say the price was good (well, and I mean well, below KBB price). Now, I did put 1k into the car the same day I bought it. I got the new tires, breaks, alignment, and I also added new spark plugs since the car has 139k miles, and, I have no idea when spark plugs were last done. I would have ended up paying more for this car had it been on their lot much longer. They would have fixed it up (again, nothing major is wrong with it, just standard wear and tear items). After fixing it up, they would have charged more. So, I was able to save some by getting it before they did anything to it, and getting the parts done myself. Or, they may have just auctioned it. Either way, I'm happy I found it (especially since I got a price probably about around the auction price). Car runs great. Have only put a few hours of driving on it, but, my mechanic (who checked it out before I purchased, and again looked it over more when I got the work done) said it should be a great college car for my daughter and last her no problem for all of college and beyond. Sure, it rattles a bit (it had a rear accident). But, she listens to the radio so loud she won't notice. The engine and transmission seem good, which is what matters. I'd like to thank everyone I worked with. I can't remember all names (I may update in the future if I can find them on paperwork). But, I believe I worked with salesmen Scott and Jordan, and manager Mike and ?. I wish I knew the ? name, he was the deal closer (we came back two days, which is why we worked with 4 people). I didn't use one bargaining chip I had (which I would never use as a bargaining chip). But, I wanted to tell about it now. Only because their dealership was plastered with "Beat Cancer" posters all over. My fiance had cancer. She was diagnosed Oct. 1, 2018. She went through 6 months of chemo, then surgeries, and 1.5 months of radiation. She is now cured. We have a lot of bills left over from her medical expenses, and, our daughter starting college. So, I just wanted to say thanks again for helping us purchase a vehicle at a good price for our daughter to use during college. read more

Went for a simple recall issue. Adverser said 2 hours at most. Bring it in 8:30 am. Should be done. 3pm still waiting on paperwork to be done since 1pm. Maybe because i didn't want to get any other services done by them. I will not recommend to anyone. read more
