Disappointing Experience with Poor Transparency, Inspection, and Safety Oversights…read moreMy first review was based off excitement and a smooth buying process until ... ... I recently purchased a truck from this dealership, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The truck was supposedly subjected to a "full 180-point inspection," covering critical components like the engine, transmission, suspension, and exhaust system. However, shortly after purchase, I noticed significant transmission issues, including harsh shifting, which should have been caught during this inspection. I was later advised that the issue stems from engine oil leaks caused by the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that's well-known with this model. These issues should have been identified before selling me the truck. To make matters worse, I was never informed about the low tire tread (4/32), and now I've been advised I need new tires soon. The dealership should have flagged this during their supposed "full inspection." Additionally, my husband was double-charged $6,000 for an extended warranty on his truck, and it took us weeks to get a hold of anyone at the dealership to resolve the issue. It was an incredibly stressful process that shouldn't have happened. But the most concerning part? His truck also had a loose steering wheel, a safety hazard that almost caused a serious accident on the highway. This issue was never flagged during the supposed inspection either. After hearing about the truck's "thorough inspection," it's hard to believe no one noticed these major safety issues. To add to my frustration, I took my truck to another dealership for maintenance and was informed that I need to consent to a transmission overhaul just to have techs take pictures of the transmission when it's taken apart and send them to the warranty provider for approval of the repair cost. If the repair cost is not approved, I'll still be left with a $1,900 bill just to put the transmission back together. If the overhaul is not approved, I'll face a $10,000 cost for the transmission repair, despite the issue stemming from the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that should have been caught in the inspection. I feel deceived, especially considering the dealership assured us that the trucks had undergone thorough inspections. These problems, especially the safety hazard in my husband's truck and the transmission issue in mine, should have been identified and addressed before selling us these vehicles. We trusted this dealership to be upfront and transparent, but instead, we've been left dealing with costly repairs and severe safety concerns. For a dealership that claims to provide quality inspections, the oversight of such major issues is inexcusable.

We bought a 2020 ford explorer from them and have had nothing but issue after issue with the SUV since then. And when we needed to get things done it was always a fight even with having coverage on the vehicle. I am NEVER buying a Ford again.

They are also leaving wiring laying against the exhaust pipe so it melts. The mechanic broke parts and never replaced them, I asked gor the cover that was supposed to be installed covering the exposed wires that plug into the module, after some time they gave me one that was broken. I talked to the service manager about the way the wires ect was done and he told me pretty much to F Off it seams like they are making sure you are a repeat customer. I will never be going back to this dealership for any repairs. (Edited to add pictures)

As a result I called Airdrie Dodge to get a new part as I wanted to support my local businesses In Airdrie and the guy in the parts department told me that there was no part like I described and to take my business elsewhere. After calling around to different dealers I was able to locate the part at Varsity Chrysler and had the guys at the lube centre to go pick it up. Every time I goto this dealership I am told they don't have the parts and to go elsewhere. I will never buy anything from them again. So much for supporting local business.

I tried so many dealerships within 150 km radius of Calgary. This shop was heads above the rest. I was treated with respect, thoughtfulness, and kindness every time I stepped through the door. The showroom is clean, open, and welcoming. (Even the washrooms are clean and nice.) It doesn't feel like an after-thought, rundown hole with too-loud dance-party music like so many others. I was shown valid and truthful documents and carfaxes (again, not like some others). They spoke honestly about each vehicle I examined. They were patient with my needs and never made me feel like a bother. They worked as a team for me and by the time I finally found my vehicle, the whole team made it feel special like a celebration. I watched them do this with every customer. Each vehicle is detailed like a new vehicle and presented to the new owners indoors like an event. I felt like these people were my friends when we were done...but I actually simply purchased a used SUV from a group of people dedicated to offering a good experience to their customers. Well done, gents, and thank you! Adam, Mitchell, Josh, and Jason...with a handoff from Nathan. Talk to any of them and you'll be in good hands. Tell them Michelle P sent you! ;)

I contacted Tools in Motion and they told me the brakes were under warranty but wanted to do an inspection. Upon inspection, they noticed a slide pin had not been properly lubricated and the brake pads got stuck in one position damaging several parts including the alloy wheel. Here is where it gets good. The mechanic said they refused to warranty it because and I quote "There is no way my service tech forgot to lubricate this" they charged me for the inspection But wait it gets better. I asked them to price out the parts to fix it, an hour later I hear back and they want 850 dollars using aftermarket parts. I priced the parts on the NAPA website and they came to 325 dollars. Will never use this garage again, after spending thousands of dollars on several cars they have the audacity to treat a good customer like this. Never again

I paid about $800 for the repair. After just under 2 months, the coolant was leaking again so I took the car back thinking that they'll fix it with minimal charge under warranty. NOT!! They wanted more money and said that the damage this time was unrelated and it will cost me another $300+ to fix it. I declined because I lost my trust to these guys. They still charged me almost $60 for just that. Good luck in your decision if you want to use this shop. They want repeat customers...in a negative way for me at least. No repeat here for sure..and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know.
