Uzair Ahmed
How very convenient for you. It took a year for Instamek to acknowledge my personal communication to you Uzair, as the president and founder of Instamek. Then Instamek said the warrantee was void because I contacted you instead of the repair person (I don't think there was one at that time during Instamek's startup confusion). Regardless, this not a warrantee situation. The new battery worked fine. It is just the damage that was done during the battery installation.
How come the mechanic did not charge for the last trips, then quit Instamek, saying that everything was resolved because the start relay was loose and he fixed it, and then he disappeared? Was he actually vetted and qualified?
Instamek did not try and get to the cause of what happened, but they sure tried really hard to absolve themselves with ridiculous and evolving excuses. They never did come up with any viable scenario that would fit the physical evidence. Surely one of your mechanics would be able to diagnose what happened. Read the description by the GM dealers who stated the relay contacts were tampered with.
Your business, Instamek, was supposed to take advantage of the poor reputation of the automobile industry. What a joke. This particular situation is essentially one of criminal theft, and unfortunately, the legal profession fees could easily exceed the costs of the damage.
If it is difficult for your business to pay a $2,000 claim for damage done by your temporary employee, maybe you should consider that it might even be more difficult for a 78 year-old, handicapped man, on a fixed income, to suffer for YOUR mistakes.
And, it is really cute that you are blocking my emails and removing my comments! I have to assume you want to communicate through Yelp, CBC, BBB, ABR, Yellow Pages, Facebook, Globe and Mail, Financial Post, Youtube, etc., until this is resolved. read more
