Started a job they could not finish…read more I first met Israel with PuroClean on Wed Sept 8th for a consult. There were concerns that required opening walls and thus more time so we scheduled for Mon the 13th. Unfortunately unavoidable conflicts arose for Israel's team and our availabilities didn't align until Friday the 17th. The project grew quickly and my bathroom was deconstructed the 17th and 18th after which I was told Israel would be in touch about mold testing. After 2 days I eventually had to chase him down and ask about next steps. After mold testing additional cleaning was performed by Israel's team on Sept 27th. The mold inspector contacted me to advise Israels team would finish up on the 30th with final post cleaning mold testing pre-planned for Oct 1. The mold inspector has been providing me with timelines as Israel has been difficult to get information from. I requested quotes several times throughout the process, beginning Sept 22nd-due to the surprise of insurance not covering the work, I wanted to be prepared- and I didn't get the invoice until Oct 1. I asked on Sept 29th if we could ensure I was on the schedule for reconstruction to begin as soon as possible and was told he would check with the reconstruction team. Now I'm being told they're very busy so they can't fit me in right now, when I had tried to be proactive to avoid delays, and was not warned that delays were inevitable. The cleaning team, Zuriel in particular, were great and this is not a knock on the work that WAS completed. But I do feel it's irresponsible to take on work that cuts up someone's home without preparing and planning to put it back together.

Working with Raining Kate's was such a great experience. We needed Mold Remediation work done in…read moreour laundry room, master bathroom, and small particle cleaning throughout our home once everything was cleared and built back. Katie and Sid were excellent to work with..Katie helped us figure out the best order for remediation work, she helped recommend fantastic contractors for Clearance Testing and Build-Back, and she checked in with us/was on-site constantly. Also, I feel like they are top notch for containing the affected areas..they put up a zipper door, blocked off the areas under remediation, and ran air scrubbers constantly. Raining Kate's generally cares about what you are going through, they have excellent communication (And even coordinate with any other contractors to make sure everyone is on the same page), and they were overall wonderful to work with. I hope you never have to deal with mold in your home, but in the event that you do..Raining Kate's is the best..hands down.

Some companies just send people and you don't know if they're good or not. She's was on the job most days, if not every day, and had some family as employees as well. She was here so much it's like she became part of our family. We were never worried with her in our house. We had a tough and strict mold tester, which is what you want, so the project went longer but Kate was great about it and just kept pressing forward. If you want someone who cares about her business and her work, then at least interview Kate, and consider hiring her and her business. She was great.
