I can't even begin to explain how amazing Eva is!!…read more I have suffered from medical hair loss for over half of my life, so she had nothing to go on. I have never seen such attention to detail as she drew, erased, designed my brows. It was a long process for her, but she didn't stop until they were perfect. Not only was she kind, thoughtful and considerate during my appointments ( which I discovered was important to me, considering I have been ashamed of my condition since its beginning) she was incredibly knowledgeable. She is truly an artist. I can't wait to see what she can do for my eyeliner! (that's next) I wouldn't let anyone else touch my face for anything permanent, that's for sure! Thank you, thank you, thank you Eva!!!

I don't have any tattoos, nor do I really want one. Paintful, I think…read more Let someone jab me a thousand times with a tiny needle, right near my eyes......if means I won't have runny eyeliner for the next 3-5 years? I'm IN! My sister had permanent eyemakep done by Eva Marcek about 3 years ago. It has faded, but she is still happy with it. And although 11 years ago when permanent eye makeup was being talk about a lot, I said NO WAY. But my eyes water, and runs the mascara. My skin around my eyes is oily, and smudges the waterproof stuff. So #1, she comes with a referral.. #2 her website is thorough and informative, with lots of B/A pics. Including "immediately after" and "one month after" which is important....more on that later. #3 review are that she is sanitary and concerned about your comfort, according to reviews here and on google. #4 she is certified and board of health inspected. #5 her prices are very reasonable. The design studio is in the lower level of her home. Eva is friendly and I immediately felt comfortable with her. Close scrutiny and observation of her practice (hygiene) and facilities gave me no worries. I met someone who had just done a "lip stain" , and had previously done the whole she-bang, as I was arriving for my consult. I was able to ask lots of questions. I also met another gal who was a 20 year client. Eva has lots of customers who are repeats and long term. During the consult she answer questions, explains, and takes the time to draw on the eyeliner, we do some adjusting and color selection olor selection. Before I leave I schedule my tattoo for 10 days later. My eyeliner tattoo was less painful than I imagined, Eva was very concerned with my comfort level. She was precise, deliberate, steady. The procedure for uppers and lowers was 3.5 hours including chat time. There is an amount of TRUST you have to give your person. Right after my procedure it looks darker than I want and darker than I expect. But the pictures on her website and book show before, immediately after, and one month after. So I know, and she tells me, the tattoo calms down after the initial 24 hours, and 1st week. The tattoo also does most of its fading during the first 6 months. You have to trust. She has over 20 years experience doing this. I understand. I hate it when my clients try to tell me how to do my job which has a similar process of "it looks worse before it gets better". She sends you home with written after-care instructions, and topical antibotic. Driving is fine. Day 3 after the tattoo, My eyes have no pain, just a bit of itchyness, which is normal. It was really never painful. on a scale of 1-10, maybe a 4. even during the procedure. I go back for adjustments at my (standard) follow up visit in 30 days. She opted to add my wings during the followup, to see more precisely after the swelling goes down, and to spread out my torture over a longer time....just kidding. BTW, She has a friendly cat who sat in my lap during the tattoo. She helped to ease the tension, it was very comforting. So if a cat being around freaks you out about cleanliness, be informed **This review is based on my consult and inital application, before things "calm down" and get normal. The post procedure eval will be in my follow up review.
