Though we were just browsing, we felt welcomed. As we browsed, we realized that the shop was packed with merchandise, which was exciting to see since it play 40k and they had a lot of it available. "Bookstore" meaning that they carry a large selection of Bibles and of Christian-themed books, while also carrying cards, kitschy gifts which appeal to a very specific suburban demographic, and so forth. Books include Bibles, study guides, preaching aids, reference works, clean fiction, and guides for navigating just about any life problem you might encounter. They used to have an extensive selection of music CDs, but that's gone for the same reason that nobody else sells CDs anymore. They're independent and locally owned, so I make an effort to shop here even if I could save a few pennies online.

There was a tournament going on in one of the back rooms, so it was a bit busy, but the folks working still helped us find certain things we asked about and were happy to do it. They have a ton of current comics, as well as lots of vintage comics, which was what we were on the hunt for (and found!) Aside from the main shop and the back room for games/tournaments, there's also a little side room that has toys, collectibles, and comic book sets (like all issues of a certain run, bundled together). Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're on the hunt for a certain comic, figure, or game. It just felt like the people here enjoyed what they do and like helping collectors find what they're looking for, sincerely wanting you to have a good experience at their shop and come back (which we will!)

A $20 gift that friends spent good money on! When a shop changes owners I would think a list of outstanding certificates would be in a data base and transferred in the sale of shop! Shop did not change name! I spent over $40 this day! I will NOT buy gift certificates again! I will not shop this quilt shop again! I was chasing Nebraska Passport stops and decided to buy a gift for my grandson while checking in with my Passport. It's an amazing store filled with unusual and affordable toys for all ages. The person who stamped my Passport took me around the shop showing me sensory toys(a big thing right now) building toys and of course books. I picked a book because it's easy to take in a suitcase when I go visit. That was just a sample. When you bring your kids in, they can play with a number of toys set up for "try before you buy". This was a win-win all around because as a Nebraska Passport holder, I got to play Plinko and won a nice gift card. I highly recommend this store.

I was surprised to get a call that same afternoon to let me know when the toy was due in stock, and that I would have it well in advance of my kiddos hospital day. I've honestly never had this level of service when ordering online - I would highly recommend Fat Brain Toys when you have Christmas, a holiday, birthday etc. I hope to be able to visit the store in person the next time I'm in the Omaha area.
