I am super frustrated with Nebraska Quilt Company in Fremont NE. I purchased a new Bernina sewing…read moremachine there and Bernina embroidery machine attachment last year. I had issues with the sewing machine breaking pretty quickly. I took it in and got it fixed. It took a couple months to fix it. Then had another issue with both the machine and embroidery machine. I took it to the store around August of last year. I was told they could do a warranty on it. To get it fixed. I kept calling and was informed they are working on it. That it will be fixed next week. I kept calling for 2 months straight each week. Finally they said the warranty is not going to cover it and I would have to pay around $400 to fix it. I was so frustrated with how long they had it and just said fix it. After calling multiple times and finally having to send my husband to the store to complain. It took months and I finally got it back. However, it still isn't working correctly and I am terrified to take it anywhere to get it checked out. However, they said the embroidery part was under warranty still and they would get it fixed. I still do not have it. It has been over 6 months since they have had it. I have spent thousands to get these machines. This store has had my machines longer than I have had them in my possession. I have also spent a lot buying items at this store. When I called to talk to the owner I get a call back with both owners saying now this part is not under warranty and that I will have to pay to fix it also. I said fix it in DECEMBER of last year. I have called at least 3 times a month to get updates on this item and keep getting told they are working on it. I called back 2 weeks ago to get update and asked for owner to call me back. I just want to know when they sent it in to Bernina and contact person I can reach out to. The worker informed me the owner will not get on phone with me. That the part is at Bernina and that they will get back to me. No one will tell me the status, dates of when it was turned in to be fixed, date when will be done. I still do not have my machine! I have spent over $5,000 at this store to get these machines. I have also went to a class and spent lots of money to get products to sew. I believe in small businesses and supporting them. I cannot express my frustration with the lack of communication and not having my machine.
