We were in the area and couldn't decide where to have dinner so we chose a familiar chain restaurant. It was busy when we got there but we were able to be seated right away. Our server was very lovely and did check-in our table often. It is a shame that I cannot remember his name. Food is good as usual. We often dine at the Mississauga location and the food was consistent. I like the space here better than Mississauga as it's brighter and more open concept. The washroom was also clean. Quality and taste inconsistent. I used to be a fan of Scaddabush in their Mississauga and Oakville locations. Decided to give the Burlington location another chance since my last visit almost 10 months ago. The Caesar salad was fantastic - just as I remembered. Dressing was good, lettuce wasn't soggy and we had a choice for bacon on top. Unfortunately, similar to my last visit the Lemon Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti was inconsistent in flavour and sauce. Mine was extremely dry, thick and stodgy. There was little flavour. My husband ordered the same dish and his was better. Service was ok, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately I'm not likely to return any time soon. It's a shame that the food quality and menu choices have declined over the years, since Scaddabush first opened. read more

Great experience! I heard about this place for well over 10 years but never got a chance to try it. Went here for a celebration and it did not disappoint! The place gives off a romantic vibe using chandeliers with dimmed lighting. The service was fast and friendly We got a Bomba fresh mozzarella - perfection! Staff and service was excellent. Food was tasty and my server did an over the top job keeping me well taken care of after my girlfriend stood me up. It's all good we worked things out. The place is huge with a bar and numerous cubicles and tables. The decor inside the restaurant uses the canned products the kitchen uses to prepare meals as well as glass containers filled with bright fruit and vegetables in water or olive oil. The restaurant was clean and orderly . The parking lot was huge with plenty of parking out back. Night time lighting in the rear of restaurant was adequate for safe passage in and out of restaurant. Crummy experience. I'm in A wheelchair and was told it would be an hr wait for a table I could pull up to. After 45 min asked if we could get a free glass of wine for the wait- told they would "Look into it." Never got it. Finally get to the back where there are 5 clean/empty tables. Zero reason to be kept waiting that long. Never got the wine, Pasta now up to $27 with no extras included. Waitress never asked how anything was, asked if we wanted boxes for takeout 15 min after we started eating, like she couldn't wait to get rid of us. Used a $50 gift card which turned into a g ordeal because the waitress didn't know how to process it. Honestly, not impressed and won't be rushing back any time soon. We watched the table behind us and they were having issues too (food coming at different times) While waiting out front we watched as one table wasn't cleared for 20 min. The food was delicious and also a little different from other scaddabuches we've been to. That's a good and a bad thing though. The good is that meant I guess they must not be pulling it out of some random fridge and reheating it so I guess it really is freshly made. The bad though is that it was not what we expected so it wasn't disgusting just surprising. The service was nice bringing us extra napkins and plates and stuff. Everything thing was averagely fast. Nothing bad just average. One bad thing were the people is. This place wasn't even crowded but our poor waitress kept getting squashed by the chair because this dude kept just randomly getting out of his chair not looking behind. Also I some guy was getting out of his seat with a drink in his hand talk standing in a high traffic area. I mean it was pretty loud but just seriously. I do have to say that it was extremely loud with music to add to that noise. Jessica P. was our server, she was friendly, and gave us good service. Our dinners came within a few minutes. We love Scaddabush. We've tried many locations, but this is our first time at the Burlington one for Taste of Burlington. They have Paix-fix menu for $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner which is a fantastic deal!! We went for lunch which is a two course meal. We each got a salad and they were bigger than we anticipated. Full of flavour and surprise to our taste buds. Their croutons were divine!!!! I loved them. I could eat a whole bag of it. I think they made it in house too!! It has to be. That soft but crunchy texture. Oh my!! Our pizzas were burnt at the bottom. No question asked, they fired up another two and it was worth the wait. Chewy crust and a great pizza overall. More sun-dried tomatoes would have been nice. Service was great. Booth seating separated each groups of people which was nice. I always like their homey atmosphere. Very busy restaurant where arrival, check in and seating took some time. Overall noise level was quite high and challenging to hear anyone. This was counterbalanced by an extremely nice and pleasant waitress (Alauna). Despite being rushed around to way too many tables, she kept her cool and greeted us every time with a smile. Food portions were very generous. I had the lemon garlic shrimp pasta and it was great, although I could have used a bit more garlic. I came here for a business lunch for the first time recently. It's a great atmosphere inside the restaurant, it feels very cozy and family-friendly. Our waitress was fan-tastic! She was kind and attentive, and you could feel her genuine smile through the face mask. She made the visit just that much better with fabulous recommendations from the menu. We tried the Prosciutto Mozzerella which was incredible....it came with fig jam and coarse salt so you could enjoy the savoury/sweet flavour combination that is oh-so-yummy! This came as one of the great recommended dishes on the menu. They make the mozzerella in house, and you can tell by how fresh it was....definitely the highlight of the visit. I got the Goat cheese and Beet salad, it was huge! I didn't think a salad would actually be filling, but here we are. I thought it was a good balance, however I think it would have been nicer with more beets. My colleagues got the chicken avocado club, and the haddock....everyone was satisfied and although I didn't get to taste them, they looked and smelled delicious! The online ordering system is amazing because you can specify any changes you want to the order as well as specify the time you want to pick up and details of your car. Because it was mother's Day we had expected potential delays but when we got there for pickup we only waited about 5 minutes. When we got home it was lovely to see how all the food was packaged. I really liked how they provided extra sauce for the meatball and salt for the cheese. Because the pasta is made fresh it did become a bit gloopy. But that's not the restaurants fault since take out is always a different quality. In total for all of us we spent about $65. Highly recommend. read more

Decent Scaddabush location - definitely not my favourite however. The food is good and quite standard, but the service and overall experience was definitely lacking. I went here with a few friends and a lot went wrong throughout the night. Firstly, our food came extremely late - we waited maybe close to 30 mins for our meals. Next, we were seated somewhat close to the door of the establishment, which is fine in most places.. but the door was constantly kept open so a constant draft kept coming in and all of the smoke from the smokers outside kept coming inside as well - totally ruined the dining experience. We fortunately were allowed to move to another table, but the lightbulb above the next table we were seated at by the waitress was busted so half the table ate in the dark. Not fun. read more

We started with Mozzarella Bomba, which is great if you like a bit of spice. Loved it. We had the Lemon Shrimp Linguini and bolognese. Both were mouth wateringly, delicious. To end a great meal, what else??!! Bread pudding, not just bread pudding.....Pantone bread pudding, with this delicious ice cream and candied walnuts. Prefect meal... Me and 2 girlfriends stopped here for dinner on our way back from Niagara to Toronto as we usually like going to the Scadda location in Toronto. We walked in and were greeted and sat right away in the dining room. This is where it went downhill... Sat down and server came over. I asked her how much did a 10 oz glass of wine look like as I just wanted to know the size and the difference between 5 VS. 10oz as I genuinely couldn't remember and wanted to order the right size with my pasta. I was appalled at the attitude and response back. "Well uh it's a full glass of wine?" I said "okay do you mind showing me the difference between 5 VS. 10?" She responded saying "well 5oz is a shot glass" now I was confused as how would wine be served in a size of a shot glass (LOL). I asked if she can show me roughly (literally by using her hands as a gauge). She smirked and said "do you really expect me to do that?" I gave up at this point and ordered an aperol spritz. I go out to restaurants and bar establishments a lot and have never encountered this sort of service before. We ordered 2 pesto pastas and a carbonara for food. Food came and all of our plates were super oily. Server never came over to follow up on how our food was but we were starving from our long day so ate it as she was MIA. Came over finally with the bill and we paid and she didn't even say thank you or anything. Silence. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what but our dinner this evening was ruined because of this service. Terrible. read more

Scaddabush in Burlington was the first restaurant I went to after the months long closure due to COVID-19. It was also the first time I had tried Scaddabush in general. My expectations were completely beat and I left there with a smile on my face, a full stomach, and a great memory. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us get comfortable to the new way of dining during this pandemic. We ordered the cesar salad, margarita pizza, and bollo basil penne. The food was very savory and the portions were well measured in that they didn't leave us hungry but it also wasn't a crazy amount to handle.
