I can go to literally any restaurant or coffee shop in London and I'd get better service. If this were another coffee shop I wouldn't care, but given that this place calls itself a work place you would expect that they put productivity at the forefront. Clearly this "work space" is for those whose "work" consists of updating tumblr or instagram pages and ruining Wikipedia entries. If you have anything meaningful you hope to accomplish here look elsewhere. If you don't believe me about this barbaric policy of no laptops on tables, I have included a photo to prove this lunacy.

Lots of different colours and styles. They mainly specialise in fixed wheel bikes, them trendy stripped-down things that are all the range amongst them wha know in East London. No gears, no brakes - not my kind of thing. But there's also a really good range of accessories like bike lights, saddles (genuine leather saddle for £65, it feels like wood!!) and an in-house workshop, where they try and fix things by the end of the day. And what a nice bunch of people run the shop as well, always happy to see a shop staffed by enthusiasts. I didn't buy anything. Knowing I…read morewas pre-committed, the mechanic immediately began telling me that I needed several new parts. The classic "foot in the door" technique. Then he noticed a minor dent in the side of wheel and refused to operate on the bike at all unless I purchased a new wheel (nearly 100 pounds), under the guise of playing the moral safety card. Mind you, the wheel had nothing to do with the service plan. I was like "Look man, I can't afford a new wheel. If you care about safety just fix my breaks, because I am going to be riding this bike irrespective of what you tell me and I'd like to be able to at least stop". I felt like a starving third-world citizen receiving moral cleansing from a religious fundamentalist, when all I really needed was a sandwich. I begged for him do any of the basic services I had already purchased (wheel truing, break tightening, gear cleaning, etc) but he still refused. The only Cycle these guys service is the cycle of abuse. I suddenly find myself beating my dog, insulting strangers on the street, and using my incredible man-strength to take candy from babies. The world is a worse place now.
