Six weeks after I bought the bike I brought it to be serviced at Motoden. Turns out, the bike that I had bought was faulty with extreme dangerous wear and tear and the garage that I purchased the bike from declined to take any responsibility. As a student, the bill I was faced with shortly after purchasing the bike was enough to make me cry! Motoden saved the day. It took a few days for me to try to sort out the warranty and speak with the other garage, but Motoden stored my bike while I attempted to sort the problem. When the garage declined all responsibility, Motoden helped me to sort my bill so that it was far more manageable. I am so grateful to know a company like Motoden as they were extremely supportive throughout this awful process and without them I probably would have thrown by scooter away! I wish that I had bought a new bike from them. All of the staff are always customer focused and knowledgeable. I could not be more appreciative to have a company like Motoden on my side. They have gone above and beyond with helping me address an issue that was another garage's fault. If you are considering buying a bike or getting work done, I highly recommend Motoden. HOLES IN TYRES BE VERY WARY BEFORE BUYING FROM HERE!!!…read more Apparently a nail was in my brand new tyre after just riding with it for ten minutes. I literally just went home which took ten mins and after a few days I went back to ride my moped to only find the tyre was flat. I took it to the mechanic and he said a nail is causing the leak but there was no visible nail. We both inspected it together and saw no nail on the surface. If it was a nail that caused it. Show the nail. Where is it. I went to the owner and said there must have been a hole when I first bought the tyre. There was no other reason to think so, since that I just rode with the new tyre for ten mins max back to my home and most importantly no visible sign of a nail on the tyre. They just kept on the saying it is leaking because of the nail and it was my fault. Where is the nail then. The owner also said if there was no nail the tyre won't be able to hold air. I couldn't believe that he said this. Since that he witnessed me ride the moped to the mechanic with the tyre full of air and no visible nail. The tyre was obviously leaking air very gradually yet being stable enough to hold air for you to ride with it. The owner did not know what to do. He just made the same excuses. Just be wary. These guys are so nice in the beginning but they become nasty when things go wrong. The owner should ask the mechanic to show proof of the nail. If no nail is found. They should have just replaced the tyre. No compensation was given. They just temporarily repaired it with the puncture repair kit. The temporary fix don't last that long. It causes issues later. Every negative review he has on here he gives a excuse. Let's see the excuse he gives this time. That is all he is good for.

I went to see Phil after my local bike shop quoted a huge sum without even looking at the bike…read more When I said something to the effect it was too much they then started quoting smaller amounts as if I'm stupid! I called Phil and he gave me the impression he was no nonsense. I went the same day and he did the repair on the spot for a very reasonable price. He didn't piss on my head and tell me it was raining and for that I gave him a tip as he undercharged me if anything. The bike is running amazing now!
