What a phenomenal experience, to quote our waiter, " you guys ordered ALOT of carbs."…read moreWe basically ordered like half the menu. Went to Mother Wolf last night for my friends after wedding dinner. The place is absolutely stunning! Our service was very quick and very efficient. Our waiter was very informative, pretty comedic, and very attentive. Every single thing that we ordered was absolutely amazing. There is not a single complaint that any of us had on any food or beverage item. There were six of us in total and we ordered the following: 1. 2 SFINCIONE (we had the signature and one that was covered in a lot of herbs and spices. I had no idea focaccia could be this good. It was like a pillow, It was so soft and absolutely delicious. I'll never look at focaccia the same way again, my standards are incredibly high now. 2. BRUSCHETTA DI ZUCCA it literally tasted like Fall in your mouth, like the most perfect fall appetizer. 3. FIORI DI ZUCCA the thing that I was most excited to try... and it was literally like if a crab Rangoon and vegetable tempura had a baby and made it Italian. It was fantastic. 4. BURRATA E CRUDO I did not eat this, but I was told that it was amazing. 5. LINGUINI AL LIMONE (this is what I got) it was heavenly, some of the best pasta I have ever had in my life! I love lemon and garlic, and it was everything and more than I could ever imagine. 6. 3 RIGATONI ALLA CARBONARA I was told that it was absolutely amazing. 7. RIGATONCINI ALLA VACCINARA was also told that this was amazing. 8. TAGLIATA DI MANZO (I did take a bite of the steak and it was absolutely spectacular) 9. TORTA CAPRESE (that's what I got) it was on another level of heavenly goodness. The flourless chocolate cake was so moist and had so much flavor, such an amazing texture, kind of reminds me of a lava cake. The pears were perfectly soft and flavorful from the red wine infusion, and the stracciatella gelato was the best gelato I've ever had. I love that it wasn't too sweet, and just melts in your mouth. 10. TIRAMISÙ I did try a bite, and it was the best tiramisu I've ever tried in my life. 11. MILLEFOGLIE AL LIMONE I was told it was fantastic! 12. PERA SORBETTI you need to try this if you like sorbet and you like pears this is godly. I was blown away. 13. MENTA GELATI I was told that this was very, very good. 14. RUCHETTA (almost forgot the salad lol) Recommended to us by our waiter because he said we ordered way too many carbs (I didn't know you can order too many carbs at an Italian restaurant, but we learned last night lol) and needed to have some type of pallet cleanser between carbs and he was right because that was the best arugula salad I've ever had in my life. I didn't know arugula could be so delicious, the leaves were massive and sooo fresh. It was phenomenal!! All the pastas was made in house, they were super awesome about allergies and dietary restrictions. A lot of drinks and mocktails were ordered as well, the two mocktails that I had: CIAO CETRIOLO and SOGNO DI RUBINO were so good, amazing flavors, and so refreshing, absolutely love them. If you plan on checking this place out, it is on the first floor of the hotel near Gucci, in front of the casino. It was definitely an amazing experience and if you have the opportunity to check out Mother Wolf you should! I will never look at Italian food the same way again my standards are even higher than I thought they could ever be.

We decided to split the agnolotti, and WOW, this was the standout dish of the night. The pasta, the sauce, everything about it was absolutely superb. We literally licked the plate clean! This is a dish I would come back specifically for. My husband ordered the chicken parm and loved it. It was a generous portion and the chicken was juicy. I had the sea bass, which was also a great portion and came with the most delicious sauce. Everything came together so well. For dessert, we ordered the mini doughnuts, which were the perfect way to end the meal. We were completely full and very happy! Overall, Scarpetta made my birthday feel extra special. The lamb was super tender so that's a plus but the olive , orange and pine nut seemed to overwhelm the flavor of the entire dish just felt like it had no direction. Unfortunately it was not a memorable dish and would not order again. Overall I was expecting more but not all dishes are of good taste. It's a small, true mom-and-pop restaurant with a small but hardworking team, and the quality of the food really speaks for itself. Every dish we tried was phenomenal! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The shrimp and scallop penne was easily one of the best Italian dishes I've had in Las Vegas. The only downside was the wait time. With such a small team, service can take a little longer, but considering the quality and flavor of the food, it's absolutely worth the wait. One thing I also appreciated was how attentive the staff was with drink refills and clearing empty plates, despite how busy they were. One thing I'd strongly recommend is making a reservation! From what I gathered, this place gets pretty busy, and with such a small dining area, reservations seem to be a must. I definitely wouldn't risk showing up without one, especially during peak dining hours. It's refreshing to find a small, locally owned restaurant that puts so much care into its food. Highly recommend giving this place a try! Just come with a little patience and a good appetite. You won't regret it!

This is my all time favorite restaurant…read more Well at least the location in NYC is. So I was very excited to try out this location in Vegas located in Aria casino. So when I knew I was going to Vegas, I jumped on their website and grabbed a pretty decent reservation. Upon arrival, I was glad I got a bit dressed up as this place is pretty fancy. This is truly an elite spot for date night. After a very short wait, we were seated at our table. They gave us complimentary bread basket, as well as a complimentary plate of salami, and aged Parmesan and some pickled vegetables. These all hit the spot perfectly, I loved the bread and salami the most. Once we took a quick look at the menu I had three dishes in mind to try for this visit. We went with Carpaccio Piemontese ($32.00)-Spicy Rigatoni Vodka ($33.00) and Ribeye Diana ($74.00). The Carpaccio came out first, I had this dish in New York and loved it then and I loved it on this visit. The beef is sliced paper thin, topped with mushrooms and toasted walnuts and a truffle dressing. It has a true melt in your mouth texture-so delicious. Next came the legendary spicy rigatoni vodka-this is Carbone's signature dish. The pasta is cooked al dente, which gives a great chew but the star is the sauce. Super creamy tomato forward with a sweet kick from the Calabrian chili in the sauce, they coat every pasta piece perfectly. Finally we got the Ribeye Diana dish. This was my third favorite dish of the night but not because of lack of quality but because of the high levels of the first two dishes. This was a ribeye cooked to a perfect medium rare and was covered in cacciatore sauce. The ribeye had a nice melt in your mouth texture while also having a rich Italian flavor from the cacciatore sauce. We were pretty full from our meal but that didn't stop them from giving us complimentary tri-colored Italian almond cake cookies to finish off our meal. That was a nice touch. One of the things I think that sets Carbone apart from other restaurants is the high level of service from the hostess to the bar staff to the waiter-all very high level. Carbone is just pure class and it's currently my favorite restaurant in Vegas. I look forward to trying this spot out again or maybe the new location located over at the Bellagio when I return for F1 weekend.

My husband and I had one night in Vegas after roughing it out in Zion for three nights. We were looking forward to a romantic, delicious, upscale meal and experience. The good: The space is beautiful. Great vibes. The bar is beautiful, I ended up wishing we had just sat there. The little extras are fun and tasty - the pickled vegetables and Parmesan were delicious. Bread basket was forgettable but fine. The spicy vodka pasta was absolutely delicious. Tasty sauce and perfectly cooked rigatoni. The side of mushrooms was also absolutely delicious. The bad: We also ordered a side of artichoke hearts and the Dover piccata and both were a disappointment. The artichokes had the same acidic brine flavor as jarred artichoke hearts. Totally distracting from their natural flavors. The dover was overcooked and flavorless, which seems impossible given a sauce of lemon and capers. Disappointingly bland. The ugly: I think we were seated at the absolute worst table in the dining room. Exactly right at the door to the kitchen/service areas, we were subjected to dozens of staff rushing in and out, yelling at each other, almost crashing into each other, almost crashing into our table, making it completely impossible for my husband and I to maintain a conversation. The complete opposite of a romantic dinner out. The bright light emitting from the doorway also ruined the romantic vibe of the room for us. Our server/captain checked in here or there, but provided virtually no service beyond taking our order. The pacing between the starter snacks and our food arriving was also unfortunate. It took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive, all while I watched a table of 5 across from us get seated, have their snacks and get halfway through their entrees before ours came out. It added a little insult to injury with where we were seated. I'd consider coming back if there was a seat at the bar for a drink and a plate of pasta, but otherwise not worth the time and money.

I ate 1/4 of the sandwich and a few fries, together with most of the salad. My friends ate a few fries also. So, I took home most of the sandwich and fries. Great value for $25. You will be just fine. I do like the bathrooms and the privacy it gives. The patio, in an outdoor bar with the lovely seating area by the fire place as you may have to wait to be seated. They do offer brunch on the weekends as well. Now as for the service. This is where they dropped the ball. I had a delivery pickup Saturday October 17th around 10:32am. I waited 23 minutes for a customers food. The host kept me updated on the order. However, I watched the customers food sit on top of the racks in the kitchen. While the cooks and staff ensured orders that were after for pickup were completed. I asked the manager why my order was taking so long. Her reasoning was- there was steak in my order. It takes a while. Also the tickets just come in randomly. I expressed that people came 10 mins after me and received 3 bags of food with their order. As well as them finishing other orders. The delay with my order was completely unacceptable. A couple of suggestions because it seems as if there is a total disconnect with the restaurant remembering that the order they are preparing. That customer is still there Customer even though a delivery service is picking up the food and delivering it to the customer. 1. Get heater bends to put the food in after it's cook and bagged. Instead of leaving the customers food out on a counter to break down and get cold before it ever gets to the delivery driver to transport it. *Most customers don't realize their food is just sitting out dying on an open counter as it waits for the delivery driver to pick it up. 2. Do your best to have food out on time for the delivery driver. Do not do other delivery orders on purpose before the current order is done and or has been started. 3. Have better customer service. I recommend this restaurant. They have a good menu selection of Italian foods etc. Definitely try the banana coffee cake during their brunch hours on the weekends. Pricing is mid. You won't break the bank:) Just keep in mind. Your food delivery may be cold or lukewarm depending if your delivery driver has heating bends in their car as they transport your food. Due to your food being left out on the restaurant counter waiting to be picked up. As it gets cold and old. Thank you!

Attentive, kind, and happy to answer our questions and offer suggestions. We started with the Caprese Salad, which was very good. We liked the presentation, as it wasn't the usual sliced tomato and mozzarella arrangement but instead was cut into medium-sized "chunks." We also ordered the Vongole Al Forno (baked clams), which had another creative presentation and was delicious. For my entrée, I ordered a special they were offering, a lasagne with a white truffle-style sauce, and it was delicious. My BF ordered the Cavatelli al Frutti di Mare al Forno Milano, a seafood pasta dish with shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and more! It's baked in a red sauce and topped with a pizza crust, making it look like a giant pot pie. Augusto cut open the dish and removed the crust, placing it on a separate plate for my BF to use to scoop up the seafood and pasta. Such a unique presentation, and it looked and tasted amazing! They also have a nice wine selection, and we enjoyed a few glasses of a Pinot Noir with our meal. Before leaving, we checked out the outdoor patio overlooking the park. We really liked the vibe and thought it was a cool view. We decided we would definitely sit outside next time.
