Stopped into Aurelio's in Las Vegas and ordered cheese only because that's what my family likes. I tried both the tavern style and the thick crust and both were really good. The tavern style had a nice crisp bite with plenty of gooey cheese and flavorful sauce. The thick crust was soft, chewy, and super filling, more of a comfort slice that made me want to just hang out and relax. The interior was spacious and comfortable and I liked how open it felt, plus there was a lot of outdoor seating around that looked inviting even if I didn't use it. Staff was kind and easygoing which matched the whole vibe. My nephew even said he would only want this pizza from now on even if it was a far drive. Overall it was just a great experience with solid pizza and a relaxed atmosphere and I'll definitely be back. read more

Came in here with my wife and sister in law, who we were visiting. My SIL had never been here before, but heard good things about it so we went with it. I am glad we did. My SIL had a hankering for a stromboli, but they had calzone which was close enough for her. The waitress was very accommodating and knowledgeable and guided her into picking her own ingredients. I ordered the sauage and beef combo sandwich and the wife ordered the meatball sandwich (something she had never ordered, anywhere, before). We also ordered a small salad to share between the 3 of us. The salad was well made, with fresh and crispy lettuce. It was just large enough for the 3 of us to share and feel satisfied, salad-wise, knowing we had belly bombs en route. We all enjoyed our selections quite a bit. My sandwich, the sausage and beef combo, was so loaded with meat (see photo) that I ended up taking half of it home with us. Half the calzone (see photo) went home too, but the wife was a trooper and polished off the meatball sandwich. Each sandwich also came with fries and they were crispy and hot (no limps prevailed in those batches). Overall we all enjoyed our meals and the service was top notch as well. My mom is very picky and visiting from out of town she stated it was a really flavorful pizza and I agree. Mood - Quick Dinner Upon entering there was a bit of a line. So decided to adjust the schedule for the time that we knew this would take. Finally getting to the point of being seated we realized what was going on. Our server was the busser, cook, hostess, call taker, and the everything in-between. Menus were given and drink order was taken. Opted for the garlic bread and fettuccine alfredo. Our combo server was amazing and took care of everything. You just had to have a little patience to be able to enjoy your food. Some of the people in the restaurant that night werent as understandable and kept complaining. I felt bad for the server. It was obvious what was going on but they didnt care. Interior is huge. There are several table and chair arrangements. Along with booths that adorn the walls. The server did clean when she was able to between all of the customers/orders/calls. Would recommend - pricing was reasonable for the portions and quality. Service was great, restaurant was nice and spacious. Pizza Not so good. Never use yellow cheese for the top of the pizza, it's not good. Plus it was cooked too long so top of pizza was crunchy and the bottom of the pizza was too soft. Thin crust Chicago style pizza uses fresh mozzarella over provolone and the bottom crust is not soft. If your goal was to not be like Aurelio's in Chicago, then you succeeded but if you're trying to be a Chicago thin crust, please revisit the way you cook it because you are way off. read more

I think we just found our new pizza place. Very generous toppings and so very good! We had wings and cheese sticks to start. Nothing fancy, just typical fare. This was my first time dining at Aurelio's. I met a friend there who recommended it as her favorite pizza place. The medium pizza is big enough for 2 people. I asked for a 6" calzone and it too is big enough for 2 people, but if nothing else was ordered, a hearty appetite could eat it all. I actually ordered a number 27 pizza (spinach, mushrooms, onions, essentially a veggie pizza) but made into a calzone. The combination isn't what I was given, but it was still very good. They offered to make the correct one but I didn't want to wait. What this had on it was ham, pepperoni, peppers ...again very good- it just added to the calorie count. A taco pizza was also ordered. It is essentially a cheese pizza with meat sauce topped with fresh veggies and cheddar. Nice change from the norm. Would I go again? Sure! read more

I used to love this place it was my go to for pizza. I placed an order online as I have many times before. The pizza I received was very dry had very little cheese and the meat was burnt. When I contacted the restaurant, I was informed by the manager it was my error for ordering online vs contacting the store directly. No apology, no offer to remake the pizza, nothing. I have never been so disappointed with the food or service at this establishment than I am today. I am going to seriously consider ordering from a new place. After ordering Aurelio's Pizzas for our holiday party, the guests who tasted the pizza said it was bad. Being from Chicago, I've eaten Aurelio's Pizza for decades and I know exactly what it should taste and smell like. Obviously the cheese was bad and the pizzas absolutely reeked of bad cheese. I immediately called Aurelio's and was told to come in, in the morning for a full refund. Aurelio's is 12 miles from my home in Summerlin, I returned and was met by an argumentative, obnoxious "manager" who accused me of "putting something " in the pizzas which I brought back with only 2 pieces missing. They ruined our Holiday Party and then accused me of taunting the food. I still have the pizzas and I'm taking this complaint all the way. When I asked for the corporate phone number he refused to give it to me, told me to find it. I called the Aurelio's in Chicago where I got my pizzas for decades and they promptly gave me the number. Omg so amazing. Ordered the taco pizza and it was phenomenal. Fresh ingredients, and the added hot sauce made it all come together. The cannoli was.... I can't even form it into words. I wish I could have bottled the scent of it when I opened the container. It smelled amazing. The taste was fresh too with fresh chocolate drizzled on top. Best cannoli I've ever had. I love Aurelio's. I'm from Illinois, which is where Aurelio's hails from. By complete happenstance, there's one in Las Vegas and it's conveniently located five minutes from my apartment. I've ordered from this location several times, but most recently tonight on the eve of 2021. The order was ready within the quoted time period, so no complaints there. I called ahead and placed an order for a medium pizza with roasted red peppers and an order of mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks themselves were pretty standard, but the dipping sauce is their marinara sauce which is fantastic. It's great as a pizza sauce, a pasta sauce, and a dipping sauce. I love peppers on pizza, but red peppers tend to be a less common topping option than green peppers. As such, I love that Aurelio's offers red peppers as a topping option. Their crust, sauce, and cheese are a perfect balance and complement each other perfectly. Aurelio's is quality and never disappoints! read more

Being from Chicago, I grew up eating Aurelio's. It was always my favorite thin crust pizza in the area! When our family went back to Chicago last summer for a visit, we made sure to have Aurelio's. It was delicious, as usual. My parents retired in Las Vegas so we were all thrilled when Aurelio's opened there. We would always pick up a pizza on our way to visit them from the various Aurelio's locations. We even picked up one over Thanksgiving from this sole surviving location. Last week was the first time we sat in the restaurant to eat the pizza rather than having take-out. The best part about our experience last week was the very friendly and attentive staff. We also enjoyed looking at the Chicago memorabilia displayed on the walls. And, the antipasto salad seemed much more generous when served on site rather than taking it to-go. But, the taste of the pizza was somewhat disappointing. It did not taste like the pizza we have at the Aurelio's in Chicago. It really was just ok. However, I imagine we will still stop by here again when coming through town for nostalgia's sake. read more

Always on the hunt for pizza places in my area and found Aurelio's through a quick Yelp search. The 2 of us came in around 7pm on a Saturday night and the place was dead. Although a lot of people came in for to go orders. Our server was friendly and she did a good job of taking care of us that evening, but again- there was only one other table of customers. I ordered the dinner house salad which was huge. He ordered a medium stuffed pizza w/ sauce on the side. I just not a fan of the stuffed pizza idea, but I tried it anyway. It was just ok- it had a lot of dough. I'd rather fill up on the toppings. The sauce was very sweet to me. Not a thumbs up in my book. Was shocked to see that the pizza alone was 24$ ouch! Saw this joint when I popped into Paulie's next door. You know I'm a sucker for spaghetti so I had to check it out. Sunday at 6:00 pm and this was ghost town. It's 6:30 now and it's starting to pick up. Ordered the spaghetti, wife ordered a Calabrese. Starting to get a little "where is my food-ish". Let's see what the taste buds say when it gets here. Okay, okay. We're re good. The pasta was just past al dente so it wasn't just sitting in the back. Sauce is on the sweeter side. Kind of like they used to serve at Fazzoli's before it closed down. As mentioned in other posts, they're not stingy with the portions. This is the type of joint, that when they bring your food out, they may as well bring a to-go box with it! Wife says the cheese was just enough so as not overpower the rest of the ingredients. She never comments on food so this is a big thumbs up from a usually disinterested third party. Room is nice and airy, a little oldish but not old. Food was a little slow coming out but it was worth the wait. Only had one lady working the dining room, but she was attentive enough and friendly so all is well. Aurelio's is going into rotation as the Sunday staple. Starting them off at 5 stars.
