Gary was above all expectations. He was polite on the phone and made an appointment to come look at the unit. The morning of, he called 30 minutes before to confirm. He was here 5 minutes prior to our appointment. I had only asked Gary for a quote to replace my unit, not to see how to fix it. While he was looking at the unit, I told him about the last quote. I said the last guy said it was a blown transformer and I needed to replace the entire heater. Gary stopped and said, that's all that's wrong? That's only a $6 part, the unit doesn't need to be replaced. He went to his car to get his tools to confirm that was the only problem. It was! We made an appointment a couple days later and now my heater is working perfectly. Now I know most of the things that happened are what SHOULD happen. But that has not been my experience with most contractors. First and foremost, he was HONEST. He was ON TIME. He was AFFORDABLE. He was POLITE. I couldn't ask for anymore.
