FANTASTIC service! Mary was amazing on the phone, helping us choose among several models; then Dan and his crew made the full-sized new washer/dryer tower fit into a *small* space, somehow, solving several problems in the process. Super professional, friendly .. we could not be happier. Highly recommend!

Valerie resolved our fridge freezer malfunction after numerous failed service calls to the competition. We highly recommend her service.

If I could put a zero here I would. We had a plumber out to our home to fix another problem and we…read morehad him look at our 2 yer old washing machine. It was not getting hot water w a hot wash but everything was nice w a clod or warm was. It was evident that on the hot was, cold water was leaking in. When we called Allen and sons and explained the problem, they said they would have someone out between 10 and 1. He arrived at 5:30 PM, and quickly told us it was a plumbing problem and not a problem w the washer. We explained that the water was hot coming into the washer ( which he did not check) and hot throughout the house. He still said the solution was to turn the water HEATER UP! Really? And then have scalding water everywhere else??! He refused to check the washer and wanted to be paid, which we refused to do. Stay away from this company!!

This is not about the repairman, Will, who came to the house (finally) and who seemed perfectly nice but the utterly incompetent people in the office. First of all, four months ago they replaced the computer motherboard in my year old GE refrigerator after endless pleading for an appointment. They keep nothing in stock. It took two weeks (with no refrigerator) to get them to order and install the part. I had not even cashed the check from the warranty people when the same part failed again. This time it took 2 and 1/2 weeks, without a refrigerator or freezer the whole time, to have them replace it AGAIN. We were in Italy when it failed and notwithstanding that our housesitter said "ORDER the part" and notwithstanding that, as they well knew, the part was under warranty, they sent me an email demanding that I authorize an attached service order FOR SOMEBODY ELSE'S APPLIANCE, NOT EVEN A REFRIGERATOR. So I wrote back from Italy saying "you know this is the wrong invoice, right? But I approve ordering the part whatever it costs, order the part". They did not do so. We were home 11 days, calling and calling, before they would schedule the repair. Then, four days after they received the part they condescended to schedule us during a 5 hour range. Then they called that morning and said they were canceling us because somebody else was an emergency. They are utterly impermeable to a sense of urgency. The office is disorganized and cavalier. They are strangers to the idea of customer service. We have had to throw out everything in our refrigerator and freezer TWICE and live out of a styrofoam chest for weeks. I would NEVER use them again and I urge everyone to find someplace, anyplace, else if they need appliance repair.

Despite growing up around here, I somehow never stumbled through these grand entrance gates until recently. This gem of a garden isn't just my butt's savior now on long drives up from LA, but it's a sliver of paradise found--and sanity regained. Just walking around here for 15-20 mins. and you'll feel your blood pressure drop a few notches to a pleasant state of calm. You can explore the themed areas, take in the vegetation around you, and get landscaping tips just from strolling around their property. The plant things are grouped in various climate/hemispheres and it's nice to see them taking root and being incorporated in a seamless design (and it's nice shopping experience too). I was impressed with the selection and bought a few small air plants and succulents that are still thriving with offshoots. Prices are reasonable. For pros looking for inspo, I think this place that can offer Interior Designers & Landscapers creativity with plants. Or even the DIY Weekend Warrior looking to revamp their current landscaping or add a little something new to it. They have a wide variety of exotics, California natives to indigenous to Australia, and every other tree, shrub, and greenery in between. Since it's the year of the (hobby) horse, I'll be sure to get my butt up here more often in 2026.

It's a nice small excursion if traveling to LA. What a wonderful concept to put a botanical garden on the property, it could show what you could do with the plants that they sold. It's tranquil to walk around and explore yet it is right next to the 101 so the freeway was loud. They really packed a lot of diversity into this small area. There were plaques for each different garden. Plaques I noticed (though there might be more) were South African Garden, Mediterranean Garden, Grassland, Cottage Garden, Native Garden, Succulent Garden, Central/South American garden, Australian garden, and Asian garden. My favorite was the Asian garden because it had a pond with koi fish.
