Mind you, little has changed, including the layout (and the doors to the toilets still have the old logos from the cafe Aqua days). However, they have changed the menu a little, and no longer serve breakfast (they now open at 12:00 pm, which is a shame because I liked coming here for a spot of breakfast), but it is still boasts the typical offerings that you would expect from an Italian restaurant (which means my brother still gets his spaghetti bolongse). They have even added a selection of gourmet pizza's to the menu, which is also cool (I had the yiros pizza, which was interesting) as well as some cheese covered bread for an appetiser (which I also quite liked).

Not quite 20 minutes later our food arrived absolutely stone cold. The pizza was meant to be bbq sauce base but it was tomato base & it was SO soggy from what I can only presume we were the last order to have been on the delivery round. The ribs were ok flavour but after eating 2 the next couple were raw near the bone so they went into our oven to cook further. Our house is a 10 minute drive from Pesaro & thought we would try it as we received a flyer but we will be sticking with our local pizza shop from now on.

While I would normally be very scathing of food not cooked to request, the server muted my concerns and to be honest, watching her greeting other guests and going about her work really made the imperfect food seem irrelevent. I guess that proves it, if you provide great service, you can get away with a lot! It is pretty common though, and the food is pretty ordinary. Not so with this place. I walked in with low expectations, I'll happily admit that. I've covered a fair few pizza places for Yelp and it gets to the stage where if you've written about one you've written about them all. The first thing to notice is the presentation. I get the impression this place hasn't been around all that long or it's just undergone an upgrade. It looks very new and it has a web site. Their prices do reflect this and they're maybe a dollar or two more than other places. You get what you pay for here though. They do offer specials so check out the website first as you may get a bargain. The variety of pizzas is pretty good and the way they make them is rather satisfying as well. Toppings are plentiful and the sauce is strong but not overpowering. Overpowering base sauce can ruin a pizza and they don't go overboard here. As I said, I was surprised with this place. It's locked away from the main roads but it's well worth going out of your way for.
