Right now there is a line down to Devonshire drive of cars waiting to get in line. The people I have met in person do seem helpful though. Update: 01/18/22 404pm. Devonshire did have one working roller brush that hits the side and backside of your car and it did some decent cleaning. However the prospect wash has two brushes that hit the side and the rear. Two washes usually cleans car good though.

My car was still wet when it came out and my tires were still full of dirt and debris. I had to wipe them down myself to get it out. But I thought, maybe it's just too dirty. And so, I went in the 2nd time a few weeks later. This time, my car was much cleaner due to the heavy rain. I can't remember which package I got, but this time, I was very very disappointed with the attendant. He kept asking me to move forward without looking at me and I had to adjust the car myself because I realized my car was not aligned. Also, when he sprayed those foam at my car, really? He barely covered half of the car. My front windshield was covered but not my rear glass and side windows. really? all you have to do is spray and you did such a bad job. Luckily, like I said, my car wasn't that dirty and all I had to do was to wipe down some water that still cling to my windshields. But then, I am not the type of person who is very picky when it comes to cars. If you were, I would suggest for you to give it a try and judge for yourself. The reason I'm writing this is because, I will be going in again after 3 months. Given the price, this car wash offers one of the most valuable packages. And also because it opens later than the others. I sincerely hope I would not meet that same attendant again.

Our dashboard lit up with warning lights indicating a power issue, ABS braking issue, and steering control issue. Luckily, we were only 9 miles from the dealership when this happened. We were 8 hours into a 24-hour drive, but Matt assured us we wouldn't be stranded. That was very comforting. They immediately got the X7 to a service tech for analysis. After about 1 hour, they determined the main battery was defective. The battery had overheated and was bulging!. We were lucky it didn't explode or spill acid in the car. We were fortunate that they had a battery in stock. We were back on the road in 3 1/2 hours. We were very grateful to Matt and his team. They knew we were in a dire situation, and they did everything they could to help us out. Everyone we met at the dealership was friendly, courteous, and helpful. I would highly recommend this dealership!!!!

Charlie's shop was the second one I…read moretook my Mazda to for an estimate after I discovered I wasn't covered by collision insurance (long story) when an uninsured motorist ran into my passenger side front light and bumper. So, I was looking to save, since no deep pockets were going to pay full price on my body work. I have to hand it to Charlie. He listened to my situation and found all the corners he could cut: pound the bent bumper back into reasonable shape (rather than ordering a new one) and get a second-hand replacement headlight assembly. He even gave me the number to call to get the secondary part from a dealer in Peoria directly rather than him ordering it himself for a couple $100's more. He saved me nearly $1,000 off a full-price job (a dent in his own profit). Afterwards, I could barely tell there had ever been any damage when I got the Mazda back. In fact, it made the other headlight look a bit shoddy in comparison! Charlie may seem a bit gruff in person or on the phone, but he's as honest as they come. And he knows the body work business after many decades in C-U. In the end, what else does anyone want with a body shop but honesty and expertise?

Below is the story- On April 11, 2026 I went to the Champaign location on Neil Street. I was motioned in and put my car in 'N' Neutral. I ALWAYS double check my gear. As I was approaching the dryers my truck started to go backwards! I looked down to see my gear shift and my truck was still in neutral! So I honked my horn several times, my truck then stopped as a guy came out and he got in front of my truck and looked down. He then pressed a button and I went forward and out of the car wash while still in the same gear I was in when all of this happened! SO OBVIOUSLY I was in neutral! I then parked to dry off my truck. The same man came out and said we looked at the cameras and you were in reverse because your backing lights were on the whole time! THIS IS A RIDICULOUS STATEMENT! IF I was in reverse the whole time why didn't someone notice it? Why did my truck go forward as soon as he pressed the button? Why didn't the guy who washed the back of my truck notice my backing lights were on? Thank God no one was behind me. After I got home and thought about this, I called to ask for the video of my truck being 'in reverse the whole time' so I can take it to my car dealership and have them look into it! The guy stammered and said oh I will have to check into it and get back to you. This was several hours ago. I called back and no answer. I left a message. Nothing. Very, very poor customer service! Do not trust this business! I booked a $600 Ultimate Detail with Mobishine for November 22 and paid a $50 deposit. My appointment got delayed several times due to mechanical issues and weather. Finally on December 16 Salim arranged for me to drive to VIDA Detailing in Champaign to receive the detailing service from a guy who works for Glow Spot IL. I don't know why Salim couldn't have one of his own employees do it, but in good faith, I brought my car to VIDA. While I was waiting during the 2.5 hour service, Salim texted me, asking me to Venmo him the remaining balance so he could pay his guy, because Salim was traveling overseas and needed to square things up before bedtime in his time zone. I explicitly confirmed at this point that I was paying for the full Ultimate Package with 1-year ceramic coating, which he confirmed. Again in good faith, I paid him the remaining $550. Upon picking up my car, the guy who'd detailed it told me that I'd actually only received a standard interior/exterior detail package with hybrid wax, valued at $300. No iron remover, no clay bar, no polishing, no leather conditioning, no 1-year ceramic coating. He told me that he'd discussed the package with Salim, and as a favor to him, agreed to do it for $200. When I reached out to Salim about the discrepancy, he denied that there had been a mistake and tried to convince me that I had in fact received the premium detail that was promised. After I cited receipts proving that this was a lie, he tried to convince me that a fair solution would be for him to perform the ultimate detail (exterior only) a month from now when he's back in the States. I've already waited a month, through two major freezes, with my car parked outside in the ice and snow. I'm not prepared to wait another month for something that should have been completed weeks ago. (Again, where are his actual employees??) I asked Salim to refund me the $300 overcharge, to reflect the value of the actual service I received. At this point he started sending me long, ornate messages full of excuses, appeals, and outright lies. He claimed that he was "not in a position to offer a partial refund," and that refunding me would cost him "35% in taxes, fees, and other business-related charges." When I researched these claims and found them to be untrue, he offered me a $100 refund as a "goodwill gesture," claiming that the service I'd received was valued at $500. Again, I proved this was a lie, at which point he stopped responding to my messages. I reached out one last time in hopes of avoiding a formal dispute, and he came back with a $150 refund offer, couched in platitudes about finding an "amicable resolution." Still trying to get me to pay $450 for a service valued at $300, for which he paid $200, with receipts to prove it all. At this point I feel so uncomfortable with the scammy, manipulative nature of Salim's response that I would never invite him to my home to detail my car even if he could do it tomorrow, let alone a month from now. I now have to open a chargeback claim with my bank, on top of having to book a new detailer to service my car as I originally wanted. This entire ordeal has been FAR more trouble than it's worth. Mobishine is scammy, shady, and will take advantage of your trust in order to steal your money. Don't do business with them. There are plenty of more worthy, honest car detail spots around town to choose from.
