This is a decent hotel to stay in. It was very close to NAIA and you can see the view of Terminal 3 from the room window (as pictured). There is a back door entrance/exit that leads you to the mall where you have a lot of choices where you can eat or just walk around. The staff are friendly. The bathroom situation is very tight. Th door opens in and you have to squeeze yourself to get through. There was drippings of water on the floor surface, I'm not sure where it was coming from. There is a big swimming pool on a lower floor but overlooking from the floor I was staying. The area was quiet and we weren't disturbed during our stay. Overall overnight stay is ok.

Stayed there for a night. Booked through hopper. The room is clean. No cigarrette smell. Bathroom is clean, alrhough shower area is a bit small. For an overnight to be near the airport, the hotel is great. Lots of eating areas around. Watson just atound the corner. There are food stalls as you walk near the hotel.

Editing: Supervisor Audrey is the BEST!! This property is a nice stay, bedrooms are good and the staff is really helpful and welcoming. Our first breakfast experience was a bit chaotic due to a big party sitting next to us and Audrey went out of her way to send dessert and rice cakes to our room as a surprise. We really felt welcomed and very well taken care of. The first day of check-in was a bit tiring because the room wasn't ready way past their check-in time. However, the friendliness of the staff, excellent guest service by Supervisor Audrey, makes staying here a pleasure. It's near Terminal 3 about 10mins drive. Wifi is great, bed is really comfy, rooms clean, room service very helpful, breakfast buffets has a great variety of selection- all the restaurant staff are very friendly and and hospitality air it's best. We'll definitely refer Savoy hotel with other friends. Much great Thanks to Supervisor Audrey for the best guest service!!!

    * Price: $60-100 USD per night. Not too bad in terms of US standard but may be pricey for locals. 3 star. * Accommodation: 2 free bottles of water, in room fridge, flat screen TV with many American channels, toiletries like shampoo, conditioners, soap, tooth brush, shaving, etc. Gym and pool, onsite restaurant, free shuttle bus to airport, etc. 4 star. * Location: very close to Manila international airport, less than 10 min drive. 4 star. * Motif: modern and chic. 4 star. * Services: very good and pleasant. 4 star. This is averaged to about 4 star. We stayed overnight at hotel Savoy for 1 night layover in Manila before going to Tuguegarao. Our group picked this place because it is conveniently close to the airport and has good rating. They was voted for Best New hotel on tripzilla last year. The hotel lobby is very cute and modern although it is pretty small hotel. The guest room is decent size with small bathroom but clean and well laid out. I did not have time to check out their gym or pool. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They have free shuttle bus to airport every 30 minutes. You can also get a private sedan for 900 peso or about $10 USD. Our room comes with breakfast. Since our flight is early in the morning, they pack a breakfast box for us. Overall, it is a good place to short stay or layover.

My stay here was pleasant. I arrived late and walked to this hotel from NAIA 3 at 2230. Took about 4-5 minutes. People were trying to grab my carryon luggage and trying to give me a taxi ride. I politely declined pointing to the direction of the hotel saying I didn't need a taxi because my hotel was a few steps away. There's a concrete 10-12 step stairwell you'll need to climb to get to the street where the hotel is. Check in was smooth. I ordered a bulalo for in-room dining. It was the best I've had in a long time. Also called for in-room massage. It only took about 20 minutes before the little masseuse with very strong hands was knocking on my door. I had breakfast at their cafe and opted for a la cart. Buffet was P800 per person and I'm not a pig. Service at the cafe was awful. I suggest dining in the room if you portion control. The breaded bangus I ordered was also awful so don't get that. I tried their tiny little steam room which I'll give 4 stars since this is the Philippines and the steam room actually worked! Not many hotels in this category have steam rooms. Facilities were great--they had an indoor pool too. The sauna kind of took too long to heat up but was already enjoying the steam. I'd come back here.

The hotel is located next to a large mall. We got to the hotel at about 9pm and were ready to check in quickly and get a good night of sleep. There was nobody waiting at the check in desk, but the process was extremely slow-- I am not sure if it was the front desk computer or the key system. After some time, our keys were finally ready and we were escorted to our room. The room was nicely appointed, although the room felt tight. We did have an amazing view of the water, unfortunately the view was skewed due to the construction going-- unfortunately the construction will be going on for a while. We were also disappointed with the finishings in the room, they seemed a bit outdated and worn. Given this is a Conrad hotel, we expected the quality of the room to be higher. Also, the room did not have a bathtub. The room did have a nice size shower that was a bit complicated. Despite the room being small and outdated, the bed was excellent. The bed was extremely comfy with nice fluffy blankets. The hotel does have a nice pool. The pool is very clean. We were at the hotel off season-July, so the pool was not too crowded. The pool is small so I could imagine the pool be super busy and perhaps a lack of chairs during busy times. The hotel also has a nice gym on the first floor. The gym is appointed with a good amount of equipment. The equipment is nicely spaced to provide room to move around. As diamond members we were offered breakfast in the lounge or in the restaurant. The restaurant has a large buffet for breakfast, so we elected to eat there-- best to go super early before the restaurant gets busy. During prime time, you may have to wait for a seat. We were fortunate to grab a seat with a view. The restaurant offering were wonderful. As diamond members we were offered a special menu. The special menu offered special drinks and food items. All of this is included in a menu. The buffet was nice, but the service could be better- drink orders took a while. Plus, tables around us were not cleaned readily. We did not like having our breakfast and looking at dirty dishes. On the executive floor, there is also a small executive lounge that is offered to gold and diamond members. They offer breakfast, snacks and happy hour. Lastly, the hotel offers good security. When you arrive, they check your car. Plus, you have to go through additional security when you walk into the lounge.

The other value-added service here is the car pickup from MNL to this hotel. Its the cheapest around about 1100 Phil. pesos round trip (about $22). A person shows up at the airport by baggage claim with your name on a sign, just like a regular limo service. The car is an economy car unless you want to limo. That costs more of course. You can book through the travel desk at this hotel (a 3rd party company) to the right of the checkin desk. Or email the hotel ahead of time. Plus, as a diamond member I typically stay at Hilton hotels. As a diamond member we were provided access to the executive lounge which was useful while we waited for our room to be ready and after check out. Plus provides an opportunity to bypass the normal check in, which is great during busy times. The lounge is offered to gold star members and above. I would have rated this hotel a 5 star experience but had some hipcups. First of all- we requested in advance early check in. When we arrive several hours ahead of check in- we noticed they could not accommodate this request immediately. They said the room would be ready shortly, so we waited. We assumed that they would prioritize our room in preparation and be ready within an hour. After waiting an extensive amount of time, we learned that the wait would be several hours. We felt mislead and frustrated. We could of spent this time doing something in manila rather than waiting in the lounge. When it came time to check out- we asked for a late check out due to our flight departure time-- We learned that they could not accommodate this even though I was a diamond member-- As a diamond member they typically offer a 2pm check out. Given that the hotel was not sold out that day, I believe they could of provided this to us. Lastly, I had to request an upgrade- normally Hilton offers me an upgrade due to my status. Beyond my customer experience- the lounge was not well managed. The lounge was very loud-- kids screaming. Large families coming in-- usually lounge is limited to how many per a room/reservation can come in. Guest were on their phone and their ipads-extemely loud. I find this funny, as when I checked in the desk told me about what clothes are acceptable for the lounge but noise level is acceptable???? Due to these poor customer service experiences, I downgraded the number of stars provided to this hotel. Customer service is everything- be up front with your guest. On the positive side- The room was very clean and nicely appointed. The waitress in the lounge went out of her way to provide me fresh orange juice when it was not fresh juice squeeze day. The employees at the pool bar were excellent- great customer service.
