After reading the other reviews I tried Savoy anyway with hopes that I would have a better experience, but I was disappointed. I went for Sunday brunch and was immediately turned off when I walked in and saw a "buffet line" complete with foil pans and the cheap racks from BJs. The selection consisted of bacon, sausage, potatoes and chicken wings. Then there was the omelet and waffle station that had one guy manning it and he looked confused as to why there was a line of people waiting in front of him for an omelet. Overall the food was edible but not worth the $17 per person. To top it off the orange juice is served in a cup that resembles a shot glass, and they charge for refills. Lastly, the service was not the best as you have to ask for everything , including the syrup which is shared among the tables because there were only two bottles. However, the best part was the waitress because she was pretty pleasant. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be going back. I understand it is a new restaurant but something's are basic, such as service and presentation read more

The food and atmosphere is great! I have been several times. I have one complaint. The band that is there on Sundays.. the Trap Jazz band. The lead member.. the guy that be in the front is very rude. If the crowd is not responding like he want them to.. he gets upset. He makes remarks if we don't like it go home.. we came to party. It just the things he say is unacceptable. I will not go back on Sundays. read more

The first time I came here they was on point but tonight they have fell off! It took over an hour to receive our food! Wish the waitresses was more concerned about doing their Job and customer service! I will have to try this on another night. This was our first time out in along time so disappointed! read more

I love this place. I have found a new spot. Drinks was great (we drunk) and the food was great (we full full). It was maybe 3 ppl in here when we came in so I was a little worried but I was so wrong. I'm happy we came. I WILL be back. read more

I visited this location on a Wednesday for Karaoke night. I did enjoy myself however the food was not so great. It took close to an hour to get my food, the drink could have been better. If you're looking for an okay location to have a good time on hump day this beats driving to AT read more

I have been going to Savoy since it first opened just about every Friday. However, it never seize to amaze me when you become a successful business you forget about that . Lately, I have requested sort of begging for a table unable to get one. We spent about $500 a month there . The entire staff knows me speak and friendly, but due not being able to meet my request for a table I will be looking for somewhere to go. read more

Had a great time here with my girl, band killed it all night and the fire pits on the back porch set it off!! I had the whole wings and they were great like grandma great. Definitely recommend this spot. read more

One of the worst places to have a party at. We walk in and only one table the size of a picnic table for 15 people. We could not find the waitress for nothing.. when we finally did and hour into the dinner. We started to order and everything that I asked for they were out of. We waited another hour for our food which came out cold. We finally realized that they were not going to set up a table we held out food in our laps and as we ate. Then they told us there was another party so we had to go outside and sit in another party area. Keep in mind it's the first week of January so we were freezing. Will definitely not be comming back.. horrific experience. read more

Great place to have a good time!! Food, drinks, music, dj, were just what we needed for a good time on a Sunday afternoon!

Don't try to plan an event here or anything b/c staff doesn't care to answer the phone or respond to emails. I contacted them THREE times to plan a large event and no response whatsoever. Voice msging system was full, no one would answer the phone during business hours. Based on reviews, this place isn't all the rave. Many places with much better service to patronize. If they can't do these basics, then I can imagine the service must be as lackluster. Toodles Savoy! read more

I went on a Saturday night. The live entertainment was wonderful. The drinks were good and the food was ok, but nothing extraordinary.

Great place for a Girls night out or date night. Great atmosphere with drinks and delicious food. There are events on different nights they have karaoke and live music. There is a cover charge added when there are live bands but very reasonable and worth the cover. Service was great. Worth a trip for a night out on the town without the hassle of heading to Atlanta. This is a great spot right in the heart of Stockbridge read more

Was impressed initially by the grown and sexy atmosphere, but that was deminished by my trip to the restroom (can you say filthy). This was my 1st time there, so maybe it was just a 1 time occurance. Turn off for me though. read more

Terrible. Not even worthy of 1 star. Previous negative reviews are accurate. Expect it to close soon.

Nice place! Entertainment for the evening "Chemistry Live" was awesome!! Food was good ; Honey Lemon Pepper Wings , Salmon & fish. My only negative is the 20% gratuity that they sneak in w/o telling u up front. I can understand the entertainment fee I think of it as a "cover charge" didn't mind paying that bc the band was great! read more

Been a few times and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Great staff and good people. This place is a definite must whenever I want to have a blast. Keep it up! read more

I must say I have been going to this spot since they opened over a year ago and I was only disappointed once. And it was only with the meal not the service. From the time I walk in from the time I walk out there is nothing but good vibes. My favorite night is Wednesday! Karaoke night. There isn't a lot of young kids it is an older crowd and the decor is beautiful. They even have and outside deck for smoking ( they sell cigars and serve hookah). If you want to have a good night good food and great drinks close to home this is your spot read more

We enjoyed our night there , the drinks were good and the shots were great. The live band was theJones brothers, great sound. Enjoyed it. !

Good food, nice live band, great atmosphere..grown and sexy crowd..Oh most importantly the drinks were good not watered down

Great service, atmosphere, food and strong drinks. All you really need in a good lounge/restaurant and Savoy has all of the above. Really enjoyed the sampler platter especially the lemon pepper wings. read more

A nice bar and grill. Chill atmosphere, low lights like a good bar. We had dinner there on a week night. I had the Fish and Grits, and my friend had the Cajun Salmon Salad. Both were really good. The staff were super nice and helpful too. I'd love to come back on a weekend night and see the live music. read more

A refreshing something different OTP on the Southside ... Who knew. Good food. Great drinks. And the band and DJ are ALL THE WAY LIVE! Well worth the drive from Buckhead... read more

Every time I go it's nice the food and service is good they have live music on Fridays and Saturday. It always packed so I say get there early if you want a table. Parking is not the best and I don't like the 5 dollar entertainment fee they add to eah bill. It's still a nice place. read more

Place is new and has some growing to do. The food was off the chain. Smoked wings and the Calamari is a must try. Lounge/Bar at night and football on Sunday's. Even heard they are doing Empire nights. Perfect place to chill and eat/drink or hookah of you choose. I was out visiting from California and I will defiantly be back when I return to Georgia. read more

Very nice place, great jazz music, and the food is good. The Savoy is a great place for grown people to hang out.

Stumbled upon this gem on Karaoke night (Wednesday) and had a great time. The chicken tacos are really good and the tortillas are buttery. Angry orchard on tap, and great singers! read more

Tried to get there when it first opened about two months ago but it was always packed. I finally had a chance to go a couple of weeks ago on a night when they didn't have live entertainment. The service was great. The bartender was easy to talk with and kept a smile on his face. I ordered Salmon Tacos because I had not ever heard of them. Absolutely delicious. I will return and I will bring more friends. #ZtheCarLady read more

I love coming out on Sundays and catching the live band and opening mic. Grey is a great host and the talent he brings in is wonderful. I always enjoy the laughs and great time I have there. I suggest this as a place to check out and have a drink. read more

Food was great, drinks were fabulous. Entertainment was perfect. I visited on 7/9/16. It was my first visit but it won't be my last. I recommend the Savoy to anyone looking to have a great time on the south side of Atlanta. read more

This is good place to hangout is you reserved a table six months in advance! So if you're thinking of just walking in to enjoy the music and some food forget about it! Kitchen is two hours slow and place way too small to hold that many tables! Who wants to get there at 7:30 and can't be seated???? read more

Place was nice.. food was excellent and good music nice place to hang out .. a little far from me but worth the drive

This is my favorite spot on the Southside. The atmosphere is grown and sexy. The food is great! The tequila towers are the best! Dj PoPo be on point. Bands have me with my hands up in the air. I be jamming at my seat! Management and staff team is great too! They always make sure my guests and I are well taken cared of. Always! It's My Spot!!!!! Love this place! read more

I have been there twice. The food is quite good. The waitresses are superb. The drinks are great. The music was good. I have one problem; not enough tables and you have to have reservations after 7:00 in order to sit at the two table they have Other than that, it's good. I enjoyed myself. You can hookah, dance, eat, talk, whatever you choose. I enjoyed it...I am over 65 years old. read more

It took an hour for someone to ask us if we needed to order. The waitress assigned to us was drinking with customers and sitting down. Finally when we ordered, the food came out iced cold. The plate wasn't even hot and you sure didn't see any steam ccoming off the food. Went it back and it came out iced cold again. We spoke to the manager and she reassured us that we would get hot food. I asked for salt and the waitress said she had to wait for the bar back to give it to her. It took 20 minutes to get salt. Then, the waitress told my girl that she had someone to touch her fries to make sure they were hot. Then, she tried to take my plate before asking me if I was done. Service definitely sucked this night. Will definitely eat before I come here next time. read more

if this were a number rating system, i would give them a 7. im vegan, and there were no options, but the plates that went by me were presented well. the music was GREAT and our server was very polite and as attentive as possible with the many patrons she had in her section. ambience needs improvement, especially if you're charging a cover. invest and the clientele will feel more compelled to spend. there was a honorable guest in the middle of the seating which caused the back row to look at the behinds of the multiple people that greeted him. consider using a booth for him next time. but the owner was VERY polite about it and even offered to comp our meal for the lack of courtesy. great move. but we were there to support, not get a free meal. i'll be back on the next 3rd friday for the band. read more

Three stars might be a little generous but it looked like they were still trying to get their business going. The bartenders/waiters appeared to just kind of walk around asking people if they needed something. Their beer selection was very weak and the liquor selection was minimal. It says sports bar but it felt more like an empty night club when I was there. The bartenders were great, polite and approachable. We discussed some football, but I could not call this a sports bar. There is also no sign telling you what the establishment was. I just happened to be staying in the hotel behind it and saw an open sign. I did not have any food so can't comment on that. I won't be back. read more

A friend and I went came here for dinner last night. It was the beginning of the worst experience ever. To begin with we waited for over 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. She ordered water and I ordered a Cosmo. 10 minutes later the water arrived but my drink was in a regular glass because they didn't have martini glasses...my glass was less that half way full with a straw inserted. My friend has originally asked for sweet tea and was told that it hasn't been made yet. Did I mention that this was around 7p? We ordered appetizers and out entrees and it all came at the same time. The food was barely warm. The crab cakes were mushy, the wings were ok and the fried shrimp are not the bang bang shrimp as advertised. It is just fried shrimp with a little sweet chili sauce drizzled. My friend order the fish and grits. The fish was fishy like it was bad and the grits were not done...very gritty and cold. It was like the food was done and sat there for about 15 min before someone brought it too us. I had the salmon which was very small and less than 4 ounces. The mashed potatoes that it came with were watery and tasteless. I was surprised that we were able to sit there for almost an hour after we received the food and my friends plate was untouched and not one server came to check to see why. They also allow smoking which adds to a horrible dining experience. We were really excited since there was going to be a live band playing. The atmosphere was not good at all. This place is straight hood so I don't know why they advertise dress code. The whole experience was awful. read more

Friendly servers and greeters. Awesome awesome food! I had the cajun grits and fried catfish. Husband had the cajun sweet chicken wings. Very very good! Nice spot! read more

If I could have have them no stars I would. The one star is for the food they have a good appetizer menu but not much on the dinner side. The communication is poor and don't assume that if you get a booth you can sit there all night. We got there early and we all ordered something to eat and a drink. Our server moved on to another table but never told us that when the band came on we would be charged, the new server must have realized we were done ordering for the night so she decided to tell us when the band came on that we would be charged $5 which was actually $5. 93. I asked to speak to the manager who was right in front of me taking a video of the band but the hostess tried to act like she had to find him. Then she and the waitress made him aware of what I wanted so that he was already prepared with an answer. After the first set of the band playing and us paying the charge we were asked to leave the table so that others could sit by the manager. Sir I just talked to you and you never mentioned that you were going to limit our table time, I assume he was waiting for us to pay the $5.93 first. All of this felt personal because I know for sure that he did not ask anyone else to leave their table before asking us. I have been here on several occasions and never been treated like this. What I would suggest is a great way of managing your business is to be transparent with your customers full disclosure is appreciated. Let's just say all of us have way more bank than $5.93 and it was the principle of the entire situation Mr I am the manager... yep but you are not the owner!!!!!! read more

Love this place!!!! Atmosphere, food and music is amazing. They even have live bands on the weekend. If you want a nice restaurant with a great environment this is your.
