This is a cute spot for a date night or to hangout with friends. I went in the evening for dinner. The drink menu is full of surprises. I had the Sangria and my hubby had the Georgia Peach. Both drinks were amazing. We sat at the bar and our bartender/waiter was Jeremiah. He did an excellent job of taking care of us. We were there early in the evening so the vibe was really chill. There were a few other folks there enjoying an after work wind down with a hookah. The food was pretty good. I had the salmon rice bowl. The glaze was a little too sweet but the salmon was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were also cooked really well. I will definitely be returning to enjoy listening to the live band on Friday night. read more

This is one of my favorite live music venues. The parking is free and plentiful. I have visited this venue on multiple occasions. The live music and the DJ never disappoints. You can reserve a table in advance via text message. However, I think that this process should be streamlined and maybe available online versus via text and waiting for someone to reply. read more

Visited this spot late night on a Saturday after going to Cru (which was wack) & this helped redeem my night! The music was old school hip hop & R&B, the fried catfish and the onion rings were pretty good & it was a dope vibe. The drinks are good but NOT strong * BEWARE!!! The only thing is the servers could be a little more patient & they charged extra for the live music if you ordered food and I wasn't even there for the live music. It was my 1st time there didn't know they did this. I go back if they change charging folks who didn't see the live entertainment. read more

Pricey..... But ok! My sister n law was visiting from NY and wanted to get out of the house for a while so we ended up coming to this place, we were a little disappointed to have to be seated on the deck because of the heat but almost every table had a reserved sign on it so we ended up at a table in what seem to have been apart of the parking lot. We spent at least 300.00 in a couple of hours. My guy likes the place and frequents it often so Im sure we will be back, our out of town guest enjoyed, eventhough we didn't get a chance to see the live performance. read more

I've heard of this place so many times and I'm so glad I finally found. It's in the perfect location and the great outside itself. My party was there and I never made it in and we had a time on the porch ya'll! The music was good and it got even better with the live entertainment that Saturday night. Dude was really blowing and I was ready to back him up if he wanted some help. My waiter was good and so was my stuffed salmon a dirty rice. I was was greedy this night so ordered some onion rings afterwards and loved the sauce with them. This was my first experience being charged for live entertainment on my bill ($6) , but it was worth it. read more

I went here last night for an alumni holiday party and had a BLAST. This place was a whole vibe (I hate that saying, but I digress)... Anyway, the waitress working our area was super on point and very nice. I can't remember her name, but she was a tiny little thing. The music was super awesome. Prices were super reasonable. Music by the band and the DJ put me in my feelings (which is a good thing). Sometimes I wanna jam, sometimes I wanna reminisce to some slow shit. The band and the DJ had a perfect mixture of both. I can't comment on the food, but the drinks were GREAT and not overpriced. I was feeling good about 2 drinks in, and im a bit of a lush, so that's saying something. I'll definitely be back. read more

I first met my lady at this spot over 2 years ago. We recently decided to visit the place again and it was very disappointing. Not only do they not have a full bar (multiple vodkas, tequilas, bourbons, and whiskeys) but some bottles displayed were empty. I ordered a Jameson neat and proceeded to order some wings since nothing else appealed to me. I was told they were out of wings... all wings! I forgot to mention that we arrived at their opening time 4:30pm on Thursday. We finished our drinks and promptly left. One drink, no food, and deeply disappointed. read more

This place brings in some excellent bands. I recommend it just for the music. They have a decent happy hour with good prices - normally. Once they were out of a common tequila. The food is served plentiful and hot. However I made the mistake of ordering collared greens, which were described as "cooked with Turkey" were obviously out of a can, drained to complete dryness and cold! Very surprised normally the food is good. The servers are awesome. Very kind. read more

I read the reviews and was expecting way more than what I experienced. I went on a Wednesday for karaoke & crablegs. The crab legs were good but not worth the price. You get 2 crab legs for $10. For $16 you get 2 crab legs, corn, potatoes, and sausage. Crab legs were skimpy and the corn and potatoes were tasteless. We also had drinks, they were good but expensive. My $12.50 margarita with 1800 tequila was served in a small plastic cup!! Then the bartender charges us 20% gratuity for 2 ppl. I couldn't believe it..and to top it off, the 20% included several to-go orders! Not sure why so many ppl like this place! It's a bit rundown and prices for everything here are way to high! read more

First time here also wanted to try them out for crab leg Tuesday instead my normal taco Tuesday. How an about after 10 minutes of being here. Bartender big guy has nasty attitude. Imani was great but can someone explain how do you run out crab legs on your signature day within an hour and not many people in the place. First and last time coming. read more

Very nice bar and grille in the neighborhood. Went for the first time couple of days back on a weekday. They have a live band and Karaoke which was awesome. The live band and Karaoke is actually 5 stars and the restaurant is 4 star. The wait time for the food was little delay. They do need more waitress for the crowd that they have. You receive your food and drinks faster by walking to the bar, which was very inconvenient being that we had a table. Other then that, I enjoyed my time there and would absolutely go back again. The draft Beers and well drinks were reasonably priced. I had Crab Cakes which were good in taste. For the cigar smoker there is a patio where you can enjoy your smoke with a good bourbon or scotch. They also have Hookah with different flavors. Atmosphere was very laid back and decor was nice. Great place, nice vibe, good service and delicious food. The management and staff are great at Savoy. They have ample free parking. I like how the crowd can vary with different ages. It is definitely a place that can accommodate all age groups. Overall, it is a nice place to relax, meet people and unwind. read more

This place was so nice! A great place to relax and vibe on a week night when you aren't feeling up to more urban clubbing. They had live music when we went and the lineup was great and engaging. It was a low key type of vibe but the owner did not hesitate to ensure we were well attended to. He introduced himself and made sure we were taken care of like VIP. Let me tell you how much of a difference it makes when you feel like the "Boss" is watching out for your pleasure AND safety. It was myself and a few other females and one guy friend that rolled in on a Thursday night exhausted from the previous night activities on the strip. This place was dimly lit, spacious, music was on point and inside and outside seating with equal bar access. The owner later revealed that he recently renovated and added the patio (which I really loved, being in GA on a slightly warm summer night) This venue is not close to Atlanta but on the opposite side but definitely worth the drive. I would say more of a mature crowd, leaving the early 20 somethings to party hard, and the mature crowd to have a great time laughing, drinking and enjoying life. I'm looking forward to revisiting this place upon my return. Price and vibe is right and I will definitely see Savoy again! read more

Savoy Bistro - It's a great hangout on Friday nights. - Tapas Bars Near Me - Morrow, Georgia

We were at the local Office Depot and hungry...so we popped into Savoy. Even though we live about ten minutes from Savoy, each time we've thought about trying it in the past, there has been a long line and we just haven't had the energy to stand in line or to stand up once inside. We popped in at the perfect time, because there was no line, and the hostess promptly greeted us, let us know there was going to be a comedy show (apparently a regular Thursday night event "at 8:30...ish!"), and seated us close to the stage. We liked the atmosphere but found the food lacking. The food was about $2-3 overpriced per item and the menu options were less than we'd like. We ordered the wings (Cajun honey), the fish (catfish, we chose fried) and grits, and the salmon. The wing sauce would be better if it were thicker; it was kinda watery and didn't really stick to the wings...had lots of potential tho. The fries that came with the wings were literally the best thing delivered to our table, other than the water (we have no idea why the water was so delicious...maybe a sprinkling of crack? ‍). Anyhoo, the fish (I personally would have liked grilled, but my husband ordered fried) was too greasy for me (as most fried foods are for me), but he thought it could've been fried harder and needed more seasoning. I deeply disliked the sauce which was covering the grits, that I would've thought were "just okay" otherwise. The salmon needed seasoning, and I asked for salt but was told they didn't have any (say what?!). For the record, the salmon was well-cooked, but just lacked seasoning. The garlic mashed potatoes that came with the salmon was literally the best thing on my plate, and the green beans qualify for the worst I've ever had. The atmosphere was great! The crowd was energetic and grown. The comedians were cool, and because the crowd was smaller than most Thursdays (so they said) the comedians interacted A LOT with those of us in attendance. It was more friendly banter than roasting anyone. In terms of service, the staff was friendly but the refilling of drinks (water in our case) could have been quicker and just checking on us in general. I would have expected our speed of service if the house was packed. Given the small crowd, the service left something to be desired. The comedians were good. For a fee show, this is the best you can ever expect! Overall, we'd definitely come back but would only order wings (trying new sauces) and maybe some other items (like catfish tacos) or drinks that we didn't try this first time. It seems a cool spot to meet up with fiends. Thy had hookah pipes and a nice outdoor patio area, none of which we got to try. One last thing: the parking lot is fairly small. For a small crowd, there was little parking; however, it appeared that there was a valet option. read more

I did go to Savoy Bistro with a former co-worker for her birthday. My wife and I enjoyed the food which she had the wings which were good and I had the catfish basket. The portions were great and I enjoyed the playlist that they had on rotation I didn't take a picture of our food. read more

This place is in serious need of some customer service coaching. The menu has Stella listed as a draft. We asked for Stella Artois. Why did we receive a bottle? When we brought it our waitress attention she clearly didn't know that a Stella beer full name is Stella Artois, despite the fact that the draft handle is in plain site. My drink crown on the rocks came in a extra small glass as I looked around and saw other cocktails in shorties. I am still trying to figure out why glass didn't have the same consistency as the other guest. From that point on the experience became lack more challenging to deal with. read more

Pretty laid back spot for the grown and sexy. Small on the inside and there is a lot of free parking here. The food was typical be at wood; wings, egg rolls and fries. You have to hunt your server down for more drinks. The hookah lasted awhile with 4 people using it. Drinks are pretty expensive but strong. The margarita was good. They ran out of teriyaki sauce for wings. DJ don't accept requests. read more

Beware of this establishment. Never been so, husband and I decided to try something different. Well our major issue with this establishment is your ticket they charge a 18% service fee which I truly don't have an issue but they then have a gratuity suggestion of 18% why would I pay an additional 18% when it's already added onto my check before closing out my tab. As a warning check your tab before paying read more

Ok, Chill spot with Karaoke. Drinks were on point. Nice little neighborhood location. I will return.

8/26/23 I live in Stockbridge, GA. I had friends visiting from NC and I wanted to take them out to hear live music & have a good time. I typically go into the city to dine and visit quality restaurants and bars. A friend recommended I try a place closer to home, which led me to Savoy on Mt. Zion Road. The environment was fine, but the food, service, experience, and quality of the management staff were subpar. I ordered the Bang Bang shrimp. The dish was SO salty it was inedible. I tried one and had my guests try one to ensure I wasn't wrong about the inedibility. I was not. Here's my experience from there - The Manager said she could not take the item off the menu because I ate some. She then said " I can get you something else", so I ordered a side salad. She charged me for the salad even though she made the offer seem like a "fix" for the lousy food. - My guest sneakily paid the check because I'd been treating them all weekend. When I reviewed the check, I was surprised to see the salad charged. I was also surprised to see an 18% gratuity automatically added. My guest paid an additional tip not realizing 18% had already been added. Given the fact that the service was subpar and the food was subpar, I also wanted the "additional tip" refunded. The "Manager" then had the "General Manager" come out to speak to me about the bill/experience. He asked me to step outside with him because the club was too loud for him to hear. - The General Manager was unpolished, unprofessional, rude and belligerent. Definitely not someone I'd want representing my business. I'm not sure why they continually wasted my time escalating the issue to each other when they had no plan, authority, or capability to resolve any of my concerns. - I remained calm, direct, and descriptive in my conversation with the General Manager. He is a poor listener (talking over me instead of listening); did not like what I was saying about the unprofessionalism, so he informed me I could not go back inside. He refused to let me back in to retrieve my handbag (which had cash, credit cards, AND my car key inside). He then threw out my friends who did absolutely nothing and did not retrieve my handbag - just left it at the table unattended. Anything could have happened. I called 911 and when I did the on-site security person allowed my friend to go grab my handbag. During this, the police officer on site walked over and asked me about the situation. - The police officer at the site was very professional. He listened to my gripe and agreed with my points, but indicated my issue would be civil if I wanted recourse. Overall the experience felt ghetto and unprofessional. Needless to say, I'd never patronize again. It's not classy, customer-oriented....just plain hood. Food 1 Service 2 Atmosphere 2 read more

This place is a restaurant and hang out spot. They have three floors one floor is a rooftop deck where you can sit and chill and eat and drink or smoke hookah's or anything else. The inside has tables a bar and a area for live music. The singer Erika kept the crowd dancing. She was very good. The band was awesome. After the band played a DJ played lively music and people got up danced. The outside patio area have a DJ as well with tables and a bar and a small area to dance. I ordered wings to eat. My friend ordered shrimp tacos. Both were OK they served their purpose. The service was kind of slow. Overall the experience was good. It was a laid back atmosphere where many people were enjoying themselves. The only thing I did not like was all of the smoke from the hookahs and whatever else people were smoking. read more

I'm a fan of this spot. They have a spoken word night, Karaoke night, crab legs night, open mic night. Hell you name it and they've got a night for it. The drinks are decent, but I feel like the food sucks. I've been on three occasions were they were out of the food my friends wanted to order and it can take them an hour to prepare aome items. I stick with the wings, when I do order food, and they aren't anything to write home about. I would eat before I come. For this reason I give a 4 Star instead of 5 for the overall appeal of the club. I don't come here for the food. If you want to eat then I would rate the food alone as 2.5 Stars. My tip to you is Chick-fil-A baby. read more

We went on a busy Friday around 9pm. Our server was very nice and attentive. Although they were busy, the hookah, drinks and food all came out quick after we ordered; each took no longer than 10-15 minutes. The salmon was fried GOLDEN (kudos to the kitchen). They had a live band and the ambiance was cool. Friday night is perfect for dates. We had a great night, no complaints. Definitely will be returning :) read more

Went on poetry night and was expecting to have a good time...not so...there seemed to be 2 servers and when I say it took forever to get pur food...omg...I was not happy...the food came and it was tasty but my wing order was wrong...but since it took so long to get it I just didn't send it back. Then I waited so long that I chose to go to the bar and order my own 2nd drink. I waited so long on my ticket that the rest of party wanted to just leave‍‍, but we waited at the least 25 or more for the check...if I come here again it wont be on poetry night and I will ask how many servers it is or I will just sit at the bar where it seems service takes place. Also FYI, tip was already included with the charge so maybe that why the service was so shitty...probably my last time. read more

Definately enjoyed myself great food and band was popping! My only compliant is we had to sit in the patio until a table became available( so make reservations). I did not like the dj in the patio area, we wanted to listen to the band. The patio is set up like another club separate from the main area when the band is. I recommend to ditch the dj in the back and connect a speaker so we can hear the band in the back too. Luckily my husband snagged us a good table in the front so we were able to enjoy the band. read more

Two or three stars. Nice ambiance. Poor drink selection unless you r n 2 foo foo drinks, which I am not. Ordered wings. Spicy sauces wings. EZ. Got eight unsauced and totally uninspired wings. 8. To be fair, accompanying green beans @ mashed taters were darn good. There is talent in the kitchen. However- Last time I checked, a wing was one drumette or one winglet. Not here. A wing is 100% winglet. Wow. Not one drumette. Sauce or no sauce, I won't be back. But if I did, my guess is that they won't be here. read more

Last night was my first time at Savoy. The live music and DJ had me dancing all night. I absolutely loved the energy in the building. The servers were nice and management was present, walking around checking on guest. I had a problem with seating and management handled it with a smile. The only negative I have with Savoy is the bar. I should have looked at the liquor they serve before ordering a drink. If you enjoy premium liquor this is not the bar for you. Saw marque and it advertised 6 dollar apps and 5 dollar tip shelf food for rush hour. I was there 1 hour after the start. Came in and sat. Not crowded so Service was quick. Was given a menu and drink list. I asked the server who was the bar tender about the drink specials. He said there were none. Ok I said what about food specials. Nope none there either. Ok so this dirty divey bar advertises one thing and offers nothing. I am not a hard person to please but when you have it on your Marques and are asked about it pony up. So I ended up paying 6 bucks for a Yengling that was warm. Did not buy there 10 dollar drinks or their 12 dollar apps. Won't be going back. Why would I? Went to Applebee's.
