We all know Petco doesn't always have the best reputation when it comes to healthy, thriving fish,…read morebut Lupe completely changes that narrative. He goes above and beyond to ensure every living creature in his care is healthy, happy, and thriving. To me, that level of dedication is incredibly selfless and speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. Lupe is a treasure chest of knowledge and solutions for any aquarium question I bring his way. No matter how simple or complicated the issue, he always takes the time to answer with patience, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm. He helped me set up my 20-gallon long heavily planted community tank from the ground up and even guided me through setting up a hospital tank when I needed one. His advice and expertise have been invaluable every step of the way. You can tell immediately that the aquatics department at this Petco is different. It's beautiful, meticulously maintained, and every tank is absolutely pristine, including the saltwater systems. The health and quality of the fish reflect the care and effort Lupe puts into his work every day. Thank you, Lupe, for giving me the knowledge and opportunity to allow my tanks to thrive. I am forever grateful for all of your help, guidance, and patience. Petco is lucky to have someone as knowledgeable, passionate, and caring as you.

Very disappointing experience. I truly hope the manager or corporate office addresses Petcoat…read more 26501 Bouquet Canyon Rd, Saugus, CA 91350 at the Valencia location. Every time I visit this store, I end up waiting 10-15 minutes before anyone in the grooming salon even acknowledges me. 1. When the groomers are in the back bathing a dog, there is no window or visibility, so they have no idea customers are waiting. 2. One groomer actually saw me waiting and kept knocking on the wall to get someone's attention, but the others had earplugs in, so no one responded. 3. An older gentleman with a cane was waiting in front of me, clearly uncomfortable, and still no one acknowledged either of us. If PETCO cares about customer service, here are some simple solutions: * Hire a receptionist to schedule appointments and check customers in. * Install a Ring door alert so groomers can see when someone walks in. * Add an inexpensive wireless camera/monitor so staff can see the lobby at all times. * If staff take too long to acknowledge customers, offer a complimentary service as a courtesy. It's unacceptable to treat customers this way. My time is valuable, and I can't keep coming in without knowing when someone will finally check me in. When I knock on the glass door after waiting 15 minutes, the staff get upset--as if I'm the problem. This is very poor customer service, and I hope my feedback reaches someone who will actually fix it. Right now, it feels like the store is choosing to ignore the issue. I will be sharing this experience on every platform I can.

I researched and found this small business for dogs/cats. Wow!! The owner is very informative. I asked her when Dusty's nails need to be cut. Not only did I feel safe to entrust my dog, but Dusty liked the place as well! She initially got very scared, but came out happy! the store is very roomy and cute. Lots of items you can purchase. They also have dog care as well an grooming (: thank you for the lovely experience! See you in 6 weeks!

I gave this place 3 chances as I do like the lady that runs and grooms this place. However, i want…read moreto bring up some stuff... we have a senior dog (a labrador retriever) and apparently she growls while getting her nails clipped however, the groomer never ever asked if she did better with a nail filer machine. She never mentioned or asked. Btw our dogs aren't new to grooming so we haven't had this issue of their nails being left long . So now her nails are extremely long and considering she is an elderly dog that doesnt help with arthritis or joint issues. Also, my other dog a labradoodle she had a very uneven shaved spot by her tail bone and the groomer never ever mentioned it, and you could clearly see it. I understand mistakes happen and that is truly ok, but the communication about it was not there. The last concern is regarding the sanitary trim, the anus regions always seems somewhat cleaned but all other areas like privates and tail are left very long. Im a bit sad because the place is cute, but i dont think its the best place for grooming, maybe they are new and theyll get better with time.
