Please! Please! Be careful when buying anything from the show case at the Savers In Santa Fe! This Store does not check the quality or functionality of any of the products being sold! This is a Camera that the store has priced for $149.99 which would be a reasonable price if the camera worked or even turned on! As you see the camera is extremely corroded and Damaged from the batteries leaking into the battery compartment! I Has asked 2 MALE managers at there show case where they keep fairly high prices item (that you would assume out of courtesy would be at least inspected) if the item was tested since this camera takes AA batteries which they had stated they carry on hand to test the functionality of devices that take AA batteries. They said they had not tested this camera! They said the lowest they could go on the camera was $100.00 even after being shown that the battery compartment was EXTREMELY CORRODED!! They seemed almost hesitant to want to test the Camera as if they already knew (in which they should have known since it priced at $149.99) that this camera does not work or even turn on! I assume they do that these products including this camera are broken as other customer had brought this same issue to there attention and yet the store still would not test it! Finally after some heavy prompting one of the managers finally decided that he would allow for the camera to be tested with the AA batteries they had on hand! And Guess what THE CAMERA WAS COMPLETELY BROKEN!!! I was not shocked! They informed me that since they had just priced this camera based off off EBay ( I Didn't know that SAVERS is EBAY) prices for working cameras that they can not lower the price of the camera from a working and tested EBay comps price because I quote "WE CAN NOT CHANGE PRICES ON LABELS WE JUST PRINTED TODAY". Which in better words means We Savers Will not lower the price of an item we have found or have been shown to now work at all! This is unacceptable and absurd! Let alone this is a crime to know that something is completely broken yet still will not change or lower the price (of 149.99 working/tested retail price) or remove the item! Also to top it off you can not return these products even! Trust me I asked them 3x to verify I was hearing them correctly! This is blatant abuse and fraud of the consumer and completely false advertising! SAVERS how can you pride yourself on stating you are better the community, when you are listing products and items that where given to you for free out of comparison for prices $149.99 BROKEN and WITH NO RETURN! This price of your broken item that DOES NOT WORK is priced at 1/3 of someone CHECK like come on! THIS Establishment need to be reviewed by BBB asap! read more

I was on vacation and found this in the area. First I love that they open early. This place is huge! It was extremely organized and clean. They have things in a glass case. This savers by far had the most things. They had a lot of nice purses in excellent condition. They literally had everything here. Everyone in my family was able to leave with several items. I've been to a few savers and this one by far is one of the best. Everyone who worked there was very helpful. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Staff is friendly, well some of them. My main issue is over pricing for DONATED items. I have no idea who's in charge of the back but whoever prices the items inside that space where they keep the jewelry don't get that everything is donated so why would they put certain things way to expensive and sometimes they're not even worth that much new. Today we took a truck loaded of good items to donate. But when we arrived we were gretted bye two employees to tell us of their new rules they were totally rude. Apparently they no longer take any hygiene items. They started opening and tearing pur bags open and throwing items that were not allowed on the truck. I was so disappointed with their attitude. I took pride in packing this items neatly. I would think they would train this people to greet you with better manners. And thank you for donating read more

the surly, power-mad staff is OUT OF CONTROL. super rude. quick to say "NO". i brought a cashmere sweater to the manager (after a saleswoman refused to get the manager for me, despite being in a cast from my ankle to my hip), and asked if she could bring down the price from 10.49 to 5.49, in light of the fact that it had a hole. she snatched it from me and said she couldn't sell it to me because it had a hole. I said that i would be happy to pay for it, if she could bring the price down. she said no, resulting in a lose-lose scenario, wherein the store lost money, and the customer didn't get what she was willing to pay for. the snotty attitude was just the icing on the cake. everything is overpriced. the store is filthy. dressing rooms remain closed, even though there's no more pandemic. the whole place sucks, and i will no longer be donating there. read more

We tried Savers for the first time yesterday, with mixed results: bought 3 music CD's- 1 was unplayable (2 were excellent); 1 DVD - OK, 1 stapler - OK; 1 pencil sharpener - unusable; 1 jacket - zipper splits - unusable; 2 clothing articles - OK. It worked out that just 50% of dollar value of our purchases were unusable and went back to the donation site, so be careful with your picks! Stuff there seems pretty worn-out, unfortunately. read more

Savers has always been good to me ever since I started shopping at the one in Honolulu in high school. This one did not disappoint. It had yarn and hiking shoes and scarves and a 50% off sale just when we needed it. The selection is amazing, the organization is pretty good, and the workers were all really nice to us. Prices were a little high for a thrift store but good for the selection and amazing with the sale. read more

Overpriced compared to others for a second hand donation store. Also there was about 15 tubs collecting dripping water around the store, the building is not taken care of. Button up shirts were $15. They sell packs of Hanes briefs 4 for $14.99. I can find better prices online. read more

We brought the family here, found something fun for everyone. They have great finds and a fun staff that take care to explain where everything is in the store. I haven't found anything bad yet, my little girl found some clean and inexpensive toys and clothing. The boyfriend found some awesome record albums and I scored some fun household items. read more

Not clean. You need to worry about getting bed bugs, clothes moths, or some other type of pests from buying things from Savers. Better to donate to Goodwill (helps people), Barking Boutique (helps shelter animals), or Salvation Army (provides addiction services) and these are very clean. Be careful, in my experience the store is dirty and so are the items sold in the store. read more

Actually some great items here for great prices. Many clothes to choose from and while it's great that they wash them before selling, - the only problem is the detergent they use has an extremely strong perfume scent. I have washed & soaked & aired items for weeks to try to get the smell out. read more

I stopped here on my stay in Santa Fe. I loved this store. It was large, clean, and very well organized. After speaking to an associate, I found that they have certain sales on certain days. Some things were priced a little higher than I would of liked to see, but it wouldn't deter me from returning. It's better priced than other thrift stores in the area. Fun spot to shop!! read more
