We just landed in Santa Fe a few weeks ago and this was one of our first stops TCW has tremendous household furniture, rugs, artwork, and more for prices that make you say, "That's a fair price." The merchandise is top notch but isn't top priced. Lots of styles and options. They obviously only accept quality pieces and they make sure they are displayed in a way that you can easily picture them in your home. No weeding out the clutter to find your perfect piece.. or room...or entire house. Seriously a find. So much so I'm almost afraid to add a review for fear it will be overrun with buyers. Love this store. Tracie, Jennifer, and Conrad are always friendly and helpful. Good people. Very nice stuff. Prices are fair. (They are marked down as the items age in the store, so you may get a better deal than the listed price.) I like that the place is not jammed full of stuff. Some consignment stores in town are so crowded that you can hardly make your way through the aisles. And there is so much stuff that you can't see it all. This place is more open and provides a better shopping experience. We go often, as they are always getting new stuff. read more

This place was recommended to me by someone who had visited every single consignment store in the area. She told me they had a good selection and that the prices were fair. She was right. First off, the pictures here on Yelp, as of right now, are of the old store. The new one is bigger and well laid out. You can walk through the aisles and really see what is there. It is worth visiting on a very regular basis, because there is a high turnover of merchandise. They seem to really understand what is going to sell in their store, so they don't take on much stuff that is going to sit there forever. The staff is great! Very personable and helpful. I've purchased 4 items from them and have put one on consignment. Entire process is transparent. read more

I was very disappointed with the Consignment Warehouse. I emailed photos of 2 original works of art we didn't have room for in our home after getting married. They emailed and said they would accept them. We rented a U-Haul truck to deliver them since they are 54" x 54". The next day I received an email from The Consignment Warehouse asking me to pick up both paintings because the blue pastel material used by the artist came off on people's hands when they touched them. They added that the blue material could be spread to their other items for sale. First, you don't touch original works of art, and why didn't they refuse the paintings when I brought them to the store? So, the next day I rented another U-Haul Cargo Van and brought them home. In short, they are violating Federal ADA laws by requiring people to carry their service dogs while shopping. When informed my dog was a service animal, she insinuated my dog was not because it did not wear one of those service dog vests. ( Those vests are a dime a dozen online and are not indicative of a service dog- certification of a service animal is.) Working in public health and familiar with ADA laws, I thought this would be a learning moment, but when I started to explain, she then began to literally yell at me that she was not going to argue with me. I was kind and polite throughout. As another reviewer stated, the salespeople (owner?) are short-tempered and border on rude- even when the place is empty. I have been there a few times, purchased items in the past, and was there to purchase a specific item I had my eye on. The last straw was being forced to put my service dog in the car in order to obtain measurements and make a purchase. After doing so, I returned to the store to find the two sales people talking rudely about me under their breath and giving me menacing stares. Unfortunately, an ADA complaint was filed. I hate to do this, but the shop owner has some stern and firm ideas that are essentially illegal. If you are to open a business, you need to follow federal and state laws and regulations. It is no different than having a store in the south in the late 1960s and come up with reasons why you need to continue Jim Crow laws as your customers come into your shop. I live out of state but go to Santa Fe several times a year. A relative there said they saw a specific item at a consignment store so figured I'd call around to see which store might have it. I called and asked if they had said item- specific as to the brand, type etc. The guy who answered said he was busy, had other customers there, and didn't have time to find out. Kinda floored by such terrible customer service and the rudeness in his tone. I get he was busy. He could have said can I get your name and number and will have someone get back to you once we check. Potentially $5k sale down the drain. read more

I moved from Santa Fe and consigned much of the items in my house here. They sold almost all my things right away and I received very good prices for everything. The owner is great to work with and responds right away. She is honest and if she believes she cannot sell something for you, she will tell you right away. I went in with my friend excited to see the place as I always drove by when they were closed. The woman sitting behind the counter never acknowledged us and we were there to buy and spent at least 20 minutes in the store. She was talking to someone who might have been buying something but never even gave us a wave. I wondered if she just assumed from my friend's appearance that he was not a buyer, a dangerous assumption to make in this town. You never know who is loaded. read more

I found a good selection of very nice furniture. The women pretty much stuck to the date on the discounts so I am sure they are fair to sellers. To encourage customers to return they should be willing to cut a few deals to sell things. Anyway I will return again because I just moved to Santa Fe and I liked the selection and quality, I just have to wait for price drops. read more

Nice items. Prices seem a little high. $45 for an old chair. That can be purchased in Madrid cheaper. $150 for an old door that I purchased in Madrid for $50. Just overpriced items. read more
