This was my first visit to this store. It was on the way home from dinner and looked interesting so I have it a try. Wow. They had a little bit of everything in there! It was very neat, clean, and well lit. The aisles were wide and everything was displayed well. They have everything in there from an antique drill to books to clothes to furniture. I found several things that I just couldn't live without. Just an all around good store to poke around in on a Saturday afternoon. I signed up for their savings card and will return! Was disappointed by the place. My inner hipster was put to shame as I could not find some ironic threads to don out and about. The place is pretty massive, but is geared more towards women as the womens' section takes up 75% of the store. This place is more of your typical suburban thrift store, in that you get more of a selection of the drab "OLD NAVY" stuff, or high school gym T shirts....BLEH... I would attest that the goodwill on WATSON up the road still is the best thrift store in town. See if you find this place worth a visit... I've seen enough. read more

I think their prices are not too high, and for what they do, their prices are justified. 1. They sort all clothing by size, which Goodwill does not do. 2. If you pick something up and put it down again in the wrong area, they're quick to reshelve it in the right area. 3. They employ disabled people and all of their employees are very nice and helpful. 4. They safeguard electronic equipment as well as they can. Some electronic devices have pieces on them that are stolen frequently, like power cords specific to that device or record needles. When they get a high value electronic device in, they do the best they can to make sure irreplaceable pieces from it are not stolen. 5. They are quickly becoming THE go to place for record collectors like me. Vintage Vinyl is too far away, and The Record Exchange charges too much. Savers picks out the good albums and puts them in plastic sleeves in front where we can find them more easily. They always have the record albums I'm after. read more

super underrated thrift store. ALWAYS has an awesome selection, been going here for years. they have a lot of good staples like flannels and jeans, and every now and then I find some super unique pieces similar to what you'd find at more high end shops like avalon exchange, but for at least half the price. very affordable, there's always great deals and sales and the best part is that you get a discount whenever you donate!!!! the staff is usually very friendly too. absolutely love this place! read more

I love this place! I found so much stuff that I needed and everything was in good condition and reasonably priced. They have a 25% discount for senior citizens on Tuesday that really helps when you are on a fixed income. I also found the store employees to be polite and helpful. I came by today to drop off a few items and couldn't resist stopping in. Savers is more expensive than say Goodwill or Value Village, but everything I bought is name brand right out of the department stores so I know I'm getting a great deal. I went today (a Tuesday) so if your above the age of 55+, make sure you come on a Tuesday because it's senior day! Anyways. They have a great selection of clothes for women, men, and children. I found lots of name brand women's clothing and specifically I got a few items originally from Victoria Secret. I also hit it up with books- they are buy 4, get 1 for free. They have several shelves of books varying from every topic and the shelves are very well organized. I think it's nearly impossible to walk out of this store without buying something. Savers is expensive. I got five books, two pairs of VS sweats, a VS robe, and a hoodie that is no brand but very nice and cozy all for $36. I did have a coupon which you can also obtain by dropping items (clothes/shoes/bags/movies/kitchen items/basically ANYTHING) off at the donation on the left side of the building, which I encourage everyone to do so because it's much more fun to shop knowing you'll get 30% off your items. :) read more

I absolutely love this place. Everything is appropriately priced, they have a steady influx of inventory and they regularly have promotional discounts and whatnot. 90% of my wardrobe is from savers, and quite a bit of other items I own and love. I scored two vintage Pentax camera lenses from there recently and they are fantastic. Not bad for 10 or 20 bucks for both. The one in west county has nicer stuff usually simply by being in a more affluent area, but that is not to diminish excellence of the crestwood location. My only negative comment is that last time I was there, the two short haired gals that were stocking clothing were obviously snickering and making fun of a customer which is pretty despicable. I tend not to let the actions of a few reflect that of the whole company though so whatever I guess. Still worth mentioning though. read more

So, so disappointed. My partner and I go here all the time, and we've had good experience so far, but they really messed up today. I bought an old exercise machine that I was really excited about. We had to borrow a friend's pick up truck to get it. At the arranged time it was trashing down rain and I didn't want it to get wet, so I called to see if I could pick it up the next day. "No problem!". Well, we got there today and it's gone! It's been repriced and sold. Even though I'd already bought and paid for it! Awful experience. Completely unacceptable. read more

I had driven by this store's locations in Maryland Heights and Crestwood, but I hadn't gotten around to stopping in yet. I went to the Watson location on Memorial Day, as it was a sale day. My first impression walking in was how big the place was, and how much merchandise they had. I started at the front with the books. I greatly appreciated the fact that they had the books organized way more than the average thrift store. Fiction was broken down into genres, and nonfiction into topic. I was amused by another customer complaining that the books weren't alphabetized. Some people just can't be pleased. For Memorial Day, all the clothes were 50% off. The prices for clothes were a tad high for a thrift store (though I'm noticing this is becoming the norm), so going on a sale day is definitely worthwhile. Their housewares were ridiculously priced ($8 for a used cookie sheet? Really?) but overall, the place is worth checking out. They have a member card which gets you discounts throughout the year; not sure what they are. Once you sign up, you wait for e-mails to tell you. The man did say it gets you 20% off on Mondays, I think. read more

I really enjoyed visiting this store! I was lucky enough to go on a Wednesday, when senior citizens typically get a discount, yet I was able to get that same discount when I signed up for their member's card! YAY! I was overwhelmed with the amount of women's clothes they had, which is a great sign! But I didn't really find anything for me there, although I did find some really cute shoes and I was really impressed with the amount of shoes they had that were over a size 8! I also enjoyed looking through their collection of books, I got a copy of the "Autobiography of Andrew Carnegie" for only a $1.99!! Which is a book lovers dream!!! I originally went there after learning that they had sold furniture there and I am in desparate need for a mattress (a cheap one) so I went hoping they had something for me but to my disappointment they did not have mattresses but they did have a variety of knick knacks like bookshelves and dressers but nothing that really caught my eye. They also had various home decor and kitchen items that I thought were neat but most of it was junk that one would find at a garage sale. The customer service was excellent and my main reason for the high rating, I am definitely going back to this location specifically! Word to the wise: Don't get discouraged while shopping at thrift stores(all of them) because they don't all carry the same thing and some might have good stuff and other might not. I have been in here too many times to count and always loved it. Then this last time the manager of the store was so rude to me that I can't imagine ever going back. I have a small dog (seriously, small-most people don't even notice I'm carrying him) and I take him everywhere. I work from home and when I run errands he comes with me except if I am going to the grocery store. Even with restaurants so long as it's not freezing we go places where we can sit outside with him. (I mention this mostly to show how quiet and well behaved he is, very used to being out.) So recently my mother and I were having a girls day and as I had a few DIY projects in the works we decided to run around to different thrift stores looking for pieces to play with. After several hours and countless stores we stopped at savers. Now at every single other store they had either not paid any attention to my dog or (more often) had been thrilled to see him, everyone cooing over how cute he is. Until we got to savers. He has been in savers several times with no problems and this time we hadn't even gotten to the section we were going to before the manager yells at us from a decent distance away "Ladies!" (in that condescending way) "You can't have him in here unless he's a service dog." And she starts herding us towards the door! I mean it wasn't like we weren't capable of leaving without supervision! My dog is 5 pounds and it's not like he was walking around, he was of course being carried. The fact that she felt it necessary to kick us out is annoyance enough but the way she did it was juts plain rude. Well, where my dog goes-I go, and where I go-my wallet goes. I understand with food but other than that if you aren't willing to let my dog in with me then I'm sure I can find somewhere else to shop that will (and probably somewhere that will have a cookie for him at that!). read more

This is my go to thrift store! Monday's is discount day, Tuesday is seniors day! They have an amazing selection of books tons of clothes for everybody from 4x to micro small ,kids ,adults ,aliens! They have household goods like furniture, tools, sewing ,radios ,they have everything and then some !You cant possibly walk out of Savers without buying something wonderfully neat! The handbag department on average has probably 70 handbags and that doesn't count backpacks ,cosmetic purses ,messenger bags, and any other bag you could want! I bet if you took an empty house and went to Savers you could fully fill your house with everything you need in good condition in a week with no problem! In my opinion it is a thrifters nirvana! So now that I've told you how great it is,go try and prove me wrong! I dare you! Oh ,and most important the employees are fantastic and the store is really clean and well organized! read more

The prices at this store are ridiculously high. This store is extremely well organized and clean. BUT the prices are obscene. Who are they kidding? Toys that were missing pieces were priced almost at new, old thread bare sheets higher than new, scraps of fabric, higher than new, dirty worn shoes as much as new. With the exception of books, I could not find one item that was priced fairly. The prices are nuts. read more

My best friend and I saw this while driving down the road and we are so glad we decided to stop. This is without a doubt, the best thrift store I've ever been in. The store is very clean and the prices are fantastic. The store is pretty organized, but the clothes could be sized better so definitely try everything on before you buy. The people who work here are very nice and very helpful. Not to mention, they have a saver's reward card for discounts on certain days and they have coupons that they give when you donate stuff.
