Prices are ridiculous for second hand/donated items! I shopped good will years ago and it used to be affordable! These prices on many items were higher than the price when new! (Many still had original stickers on them, so that's a fact!) read more

I like this goodwill location although it is very small. Pricing is reasonable at this one and the clothing is color coded which is great. The housewares section is usually messy and of course small, and there is not much furniture. But every time I've been here the staff has been courteous and helpful. Remember to take bags into a goodwill because they do not bag items. I had to make three trips to my car to carry out the items because they did not have a staff member to help me one day. read more

Goodwill seriously needs to look over their clothes better. I get frustrated when I finally find a shirt and when I pick it up it's all stained. I picked up a shirt once that half the sleeve was cut off. I found a really cute dress but it was so filthy I felt like I had to go wash my hands. I worked at a thrift store for 4 years. It doesn't take that long to look at the condition of clothing. read more

This Goodwill is ok. I prefer the one in Ucity more. It's clean but it's a bit more closed in and clothing variety is hit or miss. They had some nice bigger pictures for wall decor but $20 is a bit much for Goodwill. This one doesn't have as much furniture as other locations I've been to. The staff was friendly and although the line was long I appreciated them calling up more cashier's to get things moving quicker. read more

This is the smallest Goodwill I've ever visited? How is that even possible? I enjoy searching for previously loved home decor pieces that can be updated. The Crestwood/Sunset Hills Goodwills home decor shelves were so bare, I felt the need to donate some items from my own home to help them out. The clothing is well organized but that wasn't on my shopping list today, although a few items did catch my eye. I kept it moving... Will try and visit on another occasion. This Goodwill is small but mighty. Although it's bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, it's still pretty cramped inside. However, it's tight because there are so many items (mostly clothing). If you're looking for kids' clothing, there's a large selection of 0-24 month items. A major plus for this location is that the bathrooms look newly renovated and are pretty clean. I really appreciate that since i have to pee anyway (because I'm pregnant) whether or not it's clean. There are also a number of bikes in the back, near the restroom and books; I normally don't see a lot of bikes at thrift stores. Final note is that the reason this is a 3 stars instead of 4 is because of a less than stellar interaction with the cashier. She wasn't rude, but she was very curt and far from friendly. So even though I found what I was looking for and got a great deal on it, having that be the last thing on my mind as I left the store made this a 3 star review. read more

I just like goodwill. The online site ( check it out if you haven't they have great things on it!!!) as well as the stores. There is always a nice variety of things. They had a really cute collection of bells so if you collect them. I would run down there...someone who collected bells had obviously made a recent donation. The store was well lit and as organized as I think it could be. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is based on something I observed. A man walked in the front door with donations instead of taking them to the back donation entrance. The staff was a little snippy with him and he even asked how he was supposed to know to go to the back (very nicely). When I left I noticed there was a large vehicle partially obscuring the large sign and arrow indicating where donations should go. I just felt bad for the man as he was just trying to do something nice by donating! read more

I really like this Goodwill...they have fairly decent furniture items, but my favorite section is the kitchenware area. I love to cook, but I'm not a huge fan of modern cookware...I like to use the cookware my Mother and Grandmother used...the good Pyrex, crockpots, rolling pins, drinkware, heavy pots & pans, etc... The place is well organized, turns things over fairly quickly and the items are priced very well...they even have special deals occasionally. I was there recently and they announced that all of the houseware items were 1/2 off...I was all over it! Bought five brand new mason jars, two great cocktail glasses and several pieces of pyrex bakeware for less then $5.00...now that's a deal! The staff is super helpful and friendly! read more

this goodwill has to be hands down one of my favorites. the fact that their racks are organized by color is extremely helpful and they always have the best selection for jeans and tops. that being said, their housewares and shoes department are a little bit shabby, but i think their large assortment of other items makes up for it. read more

This Goodwill was fairly decent. It was clean (and I even had to use the bathroom while I was there.. it had been cleaned at some point fairly recently at least). Nice selection, once you weed through the sweaters you're fairly sure you owned at one point in the 80's. I went on a nice saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded, no wait at the checkout. read more

This is probably one of the best, if not the best, thrift store in St Louis. This place is usually packed, parking lot is always filled here. As a thrift store junkie, I must say, that I usually find something good in this particular store. They have some of the most quality stock of furniture I've seen. And most of the time, the stuff is brand new. Here and there you can score some awesome vintage Tees. They have a pretty decent men's section, and clothes tend to be in great shape, and I think I know why. Usually the location of a thrift store will draw in donations from the immediate surrounding community, and I imagine the donations here are coming from the more well off communities of St Louis. The women's section is over three times larger than the men's section. But I've been coming here for most of my time in the Lou, and it rarely disappoints, and I think this location outperforms the one on Manchester Road by a mile. But do check this place out for sure. My friend and I make a bi-yearly trek to St. Louis for a girls weekend, just to hit the Goodwills and a couple of other places. This was our first time to this particular Goodwill and we absolutely loved it! Most of the clothes we bought still had the tags on them and there was a huge selection. The cashier was kinda slow, but I like the fact that she told me exactly what the cost of each item was, just for confirmation. We'll definitely make this one of our stops the next time we hit St. Louis! GOOD TIMES! read more
