Moderate to upscale resale shop staffed entirely by volunteers with the proceeds going back to the Assistance League to help various causes in the community. Pleas note they are closed Sunday and Monday and ope up at 10:00 am Tuesday, that being the best day to visit because they restock the store on Monday and no telling what you will find on Tuesday. They carry Women, Men Children clothing and accessories as well as home goods and books. Your best bet is to get in their mailing list to keep abreast of all the special sales. read more

Stopped in after hearing about it from a friend. Clean, well organized with an upscale feel. Found a white serving platter with bronze holder in like-new condition for $15. Beautifully displayed home decor! Will be back when I have more time to browse the women's wear and accessories. Unbelieveable that this store is all volunteers raising funds that go back to help others in the St. Louis community. It's a win-win as a shopping experience! This is a good place overall, and I do recommend. Their selection does skew a bit elderly. There are also some things that could be improved. Pros: The location is convenient, in a large strip mall in Creve Coeur. After you shop there, you can frequent a number of other establishments right in the same area, like Jimmy Johns or Olive Street Cafe. Found a parking spot quickly. All of the employees were friendly to me, and the place is clean. Pricing is all over the place, but I managed to find a few really great treasures at great prices! Most of what I saw was overpriced, but they have a clearance rack in the back and I found some good stuff there. Jeans and shoes also had some very reasonable prices. Cons: Pricing is super hard to figure out. I started at a rack by the door, and everything on that rack had a price tag (and those items were overpriced, like $12 for a plain Chico's tank top). I was then confused when I moved to other racks that had no pricing at all. On my third or fourth rack, I saw a price sheet detailing prices for long sleeve shirts, sleeveless shirts, etc. This would be helpful, but it was an 8x11 sheet packed with tiny font because it had so much information. So I would get to a rack and then go back and try to consult this sheet to see how much this rack was. This was again pretty confusing because the rack categories weren't all that clear (blouses vs shirts, for instance). So, some of the items I got were a question mark on price until I got to the register. I ended up getting a huge armful of clothing and shoes and was a little dismayed that they don't have baskets or carts. I know it's a charity organization, but I encourage them to invest in some baskets and carts because people will spend more if they don't have to carry their stuff all around. All in all, I would recommend it and will be back, but I will be grumbling a bit about not having anywhere to put my items and also at how confusing prices are to figure out. read more

This store is great! You can find everything from baby clothes to furniture, including wonderful holiday decorations at really reasonable prices, gently worn or even new shoes, special occasion dresses for weddings, etc at a fraction of what you'd have to pay at a store. Everything is clean, the clothes are pressed, and I often find brand new clothes with the price tags still on. Lots of books, too, and pictures in great frames for next to nothing. Check out the $3 clearance rack in the back - they have men's clothes, too. read more

My mother-in-law loves this place! So when we made lunch plans, she decided we should meet here first. It's an up-scale second-hand store. Everything is well-organized and not over-crowded. The prices are slightly higher than you might see at a Goodwill, but the quality of the over-all experience is a better one. I really enjoyed looking through their collection of dresses - they had both evening gowns and cocktail dressed at reasonable prices.
