I wanted to go here to see what items they have even though we are only visiting Dallas for two days m. This place has some of the best deals on certain items that I seen around as compared to other asian stores that we been to for the last two days. There were a few items that were a little bit higher, but overall most items are cheaper by at least one dollar or more. We ended up buying their fruit shape ice cream which was about one dollar leas than the other asian stores I saw. It would be great if this store expands all the way to Missouri. read more

This new "Asian Costco" had everything you could imagine! You could buy things in bulk or in small quantities with cheaper prices compared to a normal grocery store. They have stuff for restaurant owners (plastic boxes, to-go cups, etc.) and also for normal people (big bags of rice, onions, ice creams, etc.). I would definitely come back to get their meat if I was to have a big hotpot party. Due to the high demand and the hype they got on social media, a lot of stuff were out of stock especially in the freezer, so you might have to come back in the future to see more options. Right now, you don't need a membership or anything, but I heard they might require it in the future. read more

I saw this Asian grocery store on Instagram, where it was advertised as having a Costco-like feel, so my sister and I decided to check it out. We walked through almost all the aisles, including the storage areas behind the plastic curtains (it's pretty cold back there!). My sister is a big Costco fan, and we both love 99 Ranch, so we naturally made some comparisons. We did find several items at SaveGo that were better deals than what we've seen at those stores. In my opinion, this store is great if you're looking to buy items in bulk. However, if you're like me and prefer a wider selection with more variety, this might not be the best fit. For example, there were only 2 options for instant coffee powder packs, whereas most Asian grocery stores usually carry many more. In the end, I didn't feel like buying anything, but my sister picked up a few items (shown in the photo below). The big box contains aloe juice. read more

SaveGo is a relatively new Asian warehouse store... think Costco or Sam's. They offer everything from frozen or dry small food items to bulk food items, sauces, etc. to restaurant supply items. A membership which gives you purchase discounts for cash or charge is relatively inexpensive at $88.88/year. Sunday was a "field trip" to find out what the ad hype was all about. We had fun, bought a membership and several foods to try, and will definitely be back. read more

Generally good experience. Some things I noticed. Can definitely find prices much cheaper than retail asian supermarkets. Though I will say some are in bulk so plan accordingly because don't want to waste stuff you can't finish. Membership not needed. Not 100% clear if that'll be the case in future. They're definitely still in the "working things out" phase. In any given time there's like 4-5 workers gathered around the cashier. What I noticed in our most recent trip was they didn't know the price of something so several workers were trying to figure it out. They could definitely improve by having competent people manning the cashiers since that's critical in keeping their lines moving especially when they only open up 1 or 2 lines. They're not at that point yet but at some point would be good to introduce some type of food court and sample stations. Again, I don't see this happening any time soon (or ever) until they work out all the kinks. read more

Save Go offers a great wholesale-style shopping experience with a wide variety of fresh produce, seafood, meats, and Asian groceries. I have been living in DFW for almost 30 years, and this has quickly become one of my new favorite Asian markets. Most of the prices at this store are very competitive. You can purchase items by the case as well as individually packaged products. The individually wrapped dry goods are slightly lower in price compared to other Asian markets, and buying by the case offers significant savings. I do wish fresh produce were available in slightly smaller or half-case sizes since produce can spoil quickly. However, overall I love the wide selection of both fresh and dry goods available. The management team is very friendly and proactive in addressing any checkout issues I've encountered. Yesterday, I went shopping again and was lucky enough to watch the grand opening ceremony. As an ABC, save Go prices are lower cost than 99 ranch, about 10% less. Their intended target niche is restaurant/ catering. I bought a cute kitty cat chopstick/ sauce kit, and was tempted to purchase their tea set. The same tea set is about $50 at the vendor near z-Tao in Plano. Disappointed the place didn't carry my favorite Hong Kong lemon tea though there's lots of snacks. Basically had everything we needed as ABC family. I opting not to join membership because 99 ranch is much closer to my residence. read more

This is just an bulk buy place that sells what most asian market already has, if you buy an item it's either bulk price which does have some discount or buy an item for a higher price which can be cheaper than other asian market. Is it worth an $88.88 membership in the future no(membership isn't needed right now, they are still sorting it out). You can prepaid $500 for an extra 10% can be benefit if you purchasing a lot or have a restaurant but for an average people it's slightly inconvenience to have money just sitting on a account. (Seen plenty of asian markets done this and when they all fail or closed down and they're gone with your money, some return money, or they let you know ahead of time and let you use it all. Website doesn't really give off the we're a multi state well know market like costco, sam's club or 99 ranch. This place is solely for your chinese ingredients, bulk, chinese restaurant based purchases.(they do have other things of to-go container, meat, seafood.) Pros: bulk purchase cost less, great for restaurants Cons: future membership is needed, non bulk purchases can be higher price than other asian market, lack of variety, medium size store.
