Chuck is so sweet and nice to my son. we have been to the different services before and we didn't satisfy. Chuck has the way to talk to my son in the way that kids could understand. My son is really enjoying seeing him. Every week he would so excited to go meet with Chuck. Wishes for a while he didn't want to go see counselor because they didn't understand him. I am feeling bless to have Chuck and the team to give a care for my little guy. Thank you so much Mill Creek Family services.

I saw Corey Cotton for about a year while navigating complex trauma. While he was kind and I…read morebelieve he meant well, I often felt emotionally unsupported and misunderstood during some of my most vulnerable moments. Early on, he provided his email, which I understood as a way to share what I couldn't easily express in session. It was only much later that I learned those emails weren't being read. That discovery deeply impacted my trust and left me feeling dismissed. At times when I was most overwhelmed, the focus seemed to shift toward managing risk rather than offering emotional support. These experiences left me feeling isolated rather than helped. The clinic itself was always professional and responsive, and I do believe Corey cares--but in my experience, he was not adequately prepared to support trauma clients. I hope this helps others in finding a therapeutic relationship that offers the safety and attunement trauma survivors need.

Bryan has a clear and thoughtful way of teaching, guiding us to understand ourselves and each other better. What stood out most is that he never took sides. Instead, he focused on solutions and helped us work as a team. His approach genuinely changed the course of our relationship for the better. We felt comfortable opening up from the very beginning, and the tools he gave us are things we still use every day. His system works -- plain and simple. We are incredibly grateful!

He had an incredible ability to understand and articulate each of our perspectives, often even better than we could. Through his guidance, we learned the framework of a healthy marriage and gained tools to approach difficult conversations in a constructive way. Even when sessions began with tension or discouragement, we consistently ended them feeling relief, connection, and hope. At one point, we felt completely deflated, but we kept pushing through with Bryan's tools guiding us. It's almost hard to believe where we are now compared to just five months ago. We've found renewed trust, respect, love and excitement for the potential of an even richer relationship ahead. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had Bryan's support during such a difficult time. His work has helped us come out stronger, able not to just get through it, but to truly thrive -- and that's something we all deserve. I wholeheartedly recommend Bryan to anyone at any stage of their relationship. If you're even considering it, take the next step -- you'll thank yourselves. I only wish we had found him sooner!

I used Bluestone Psychological Services for an approximately two month period from September to…read moreNovember 2021. I was having some resurgent trauma-related problems from being assaulted in the past and was seeking guidance through them. Calling to set up an appointment was straightforward, I had read the online profiles of the professionals and asked if I could see someone in particular (as of writing this review on Saturday 17 June 2023, the person is no longer listed as working at Bluestone). After describing my situation to the receptionist, they said that it sounded like the person I was requesting could be a good fit. So we scheduled an intake appointment in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the first appointment we set up weekly sessions thereafter until I was feeling confident enough to part ways with the therapy about two months later. I received a bit of talk and EMDR therapy in my sessions. The therapist was never short with me and I found the treatment effective for helping me work through my problems. She was professional in our sessions and never prying. I have continued to use some of the things I learned in the sessions after stopping the therapy sessions.

I was a former patient of Dr. Lilia Peng. I went to her because she was a Naturopathic psychiatric…read moreprovider and trans/LGBTQI+ friendly. However, I regret that decision. I felt that she was very impersonal and straight to the point. I never felt that much compassion from her. In addition, I felt that she did not have great bedside manner or manners with me at all. I felt her customer service to me was not that great. I had to cancel at the last minute a couple of times due to an emergency, and the practice and Dr. Peng told me they had to charge me a fee. Bluestone showed me no mercy, and Dr. Peng did not seem to show me any either. I felt that she also did not properly understand my conditions either. I also didn't like that when I made no follow up appointments with her that Dr. Peng reached out to me multiple times and asked me if I was interested in continuing with her. Well obviously, if I have not called you or made an appointment with the practice in months, it's evident I am no longer interested. In the end, I am glad I left. I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Peng at all. In my opinion, they have no understanding for when life situations come up and I did not feel there was good communication or compassion towards patients either by either Dr. Peng or the staff of bluestone.

I had a really hard time clicking with my counselor here, so after 4 sessions I decided I should…read moretry somewhere else. It just wasn't the right fit for me. Since canceling back in August, I have been charged an additional $280 by them, split into random chunks of amounts ($25 here, $100 there...) and have literally been calling and emailing for over a month to get someone there to fix it. It would be fine if I heard something back and for some reason I am mistaken, but the fact I have received no response whatsoever is infuriating. Obviously disputing with my bank and will never go here again. Would not recommend.

I came to ECC in a time of crisis when my beautiful sister was in a near fatal car accident. I had…read morePTSD of sorts from the incident and was having nightmares. The grief was disabling during the day also and I was unable to work or do day-to-day tasks, my mind was reeling. I knew there was no way I could do years of counseling to get through it, I needed something fast to help me return to normal life. I called ECC and asked Melanie what she could do to help heal me to accelerate the process of trauma, and get results and relief fast. She introduced me to EMDR and Matrix Reimprinting. I had never heard of such a thing and didn't know the technology behind them , and truly thought they sounded like a waste of time and would not work. But I was desperate. After learning how they work on the brain and body and the historical proven results, I gave them a try. Much to my surprise I was shocked to see that not only did they work but they gave fast results and relief to my grief and pain and reeling thoughts that would not stop. The effects were so positive I couldn't quite believe it could be that easy... I still am baffled and SO incredibly grateful to Melanie and ECC for having these techniques to offer to our community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I was able to quickly returned to normal life. I was also able to cope with all that came after the accident well. Later that year I also had a serious incident with a family member that I was feeling similar trauma about and went back to ECC. As the first time, Melanie was able to bring me through it quickly and painlessly with these amazing techniques that seem to good to be true. I have been back to ECC for my relationship too, and it truly helped me for over a year, with the guidance I received from another great therapist there named Kathy. I highly recommend these guys!
